Places of Oksa Pollock (1/?): Leomido’s Home
[…] his home, some thirty miles away in the middle of the Welsh countryside. This was no ordinary house, but a former church […]. He’d […] turned it into a magnificent, comfortable home […] the small cemetery extending along the back of the property. Situated in one of the winding lanes along the coastline of the Celtic Sea, [it] was set in vast grounds sheltered by heather-covered valleys.

"[...] Anna Plichota and Cendrine Wolf’s books were originally written in French, so only French teenagers would have been able to enjoy them if it had not been for the many translators who have worked hard to translate this brilliant series into many different languages and bring Oksa and her exciting adventures to Pollockmaniacs all over the world!
In these books, Oksa Pollock likes to think of herself as a ninja warrior, so perhaps she’d have grown up to be a translator if she hadn’t had a different destiny to fulfil! As Etgar Keret said, “Translators are like ninjas. If you notice them, they’re no good.” [...]"

“Are you unhappy?” ventured Oksa, glancing at him out of the  corner of her eye. To her immense surprise, she realized that Tugdual was carefully considering her question before answering.
“No, I’m not unhappy. At least, I don’t think so… I think it’s  more that I don’t have a gift for happiness, cheerfulness, all that,  you know.”

Is there an Oksa Pollock fandom here ? ‘Cause if there’s not, i’ll be very pissed.
06/06/21 edit : I made this post in July 2014 and since then it’s gotten around 50 notes, so that means there’s at least fifty people on here who still wish there was more of a fandom for Oksa Pollock on tumblr. Maybe it’s time for and OP revival and for a fandom to appear out of thin air. If anyone’s made fan art, written fanfic, thought of memes that would work well within the context of the story, please post them, let’s try to get this to work !
