“If the world could be described through a painting, how would it be translated into words?”
It took me years to actually have a proper catching up session with Nabilah. We’re not even living overseas but I guess when your path is different, you somehow have to make a choice, to go on your on road, on chasing your dreams or you’re the one who is left behind. That’s how it works and that’s what we are doing.
So yesterday, Nabilah and I went to KL Biennale exhibition at National Art Gallery. Our number one purpose was to catch up. Purpose number two was to bring me to the art exhibition. That was my very first time to go to an art exhibition to be honest. To be part of the people who actually witness the real definition of arts. Next time, if I were to be asked whether I had ever went to an art exhibition, I won’t hesitate to say yes.
I am not an art person obviously except that I love to see people who enjoys doing art, who makes money from it and those who actually live with it. I can draw basic things but not free-handedly. Hence, to be observing the artwork fascinates me so much. It’s like you’re in a different dimension sailing across the sea of creative imaginations. Metaphore.
