Ever felt strange? Like a tingling sensation creeping up your spine? Where your hairs stand on their ends and a ringing starts in your ears? It happens most frequently in the woods, on a cold, dull day. One moment, you wander around enjoying the sights. Then, the world falls sill and empty. In the corner of your eye, you see something blurry approach you. You turn around to see your reflection staring back at you, beady eyed and damp skinned. It smiles. You try to move, but something tugs you back in place. It moves towards you. You try to scream, but instead you say “thank you”. The next thing you know you wake up in the darkness, laying flat on the fallen leaves, rain pattering around you.

You, my friend, met a Fae. Introducing Fae! A tabletop roleplaying game that focuses on the interaction between humans and Fae during times of turmoil, mystery or just day-to-day life. The setting takes place on an altered earth, one where humans can possess magic and live among the Fae - a wily bunch who humans just can't seem to understand. Well, those that don't try to anyway. This has lead to some... Complications. Some humans just get annoyed at a Fae's presence, while others take it upon themselves to ruin the Fae forever. However, the extent of the human vs Fae dynamic is fully in the GM's hands. Mechanically, the Fae and human are intended to be played very differently, with Fae possessing innate power whereas humans focus on specialising in the mundane. There is potential for magic, what with Fae artefacts and some breaks in reality. I will be updating this page with briefs on various Fae and human abilities as well as various other facts about the system and how it plays. Otherwise, hang around for more art and some discussion on folklore, my inspirations as well as tips and tricks when it comes to making a tabletop system.
