Sol is a chimera (a single animal with two distinct sets of DNA) of a tortoiseshell and a brown-and-white cat. Cats like him are very rare, so he is a striking sight to everyone he meets.

The Skelarie are a genus of six sophont species hailing from the planet Kotladon. They evolved from pelagic flying animals, and still mostly stick to coasts, islands, and "floating cities" on their homeworld. They range in height 3.5 to 5 feet tall at the mid-shoulder.

They are a unisex species that reproduces through wind pollination. They lay between 1 and 4 eggs in a clutch, with an average number of 2. The traditional "Family unit" consists of between 5 and 10 adults, usually only one or two of them lay eggs at a time and the rest just help raise them. Children take around 6 Kotladonian years (12 Earth years) to reach adulthood.

While the Skelarie ventured into space before Humans did, they never figured out faster-than-light travel and therefore hadn't explored much beyond their own solar system. Because of this, it was the Humans who found them, and they were each other's first contact with alien life.

More SkyClan AU stuff. Well, Brightheart doesn't really change much in the AU, but I felt like drawing both of them.

Snakerocks is on SkyClan's territory, and SkyClan figured out what was going on a lot earlier than ThunderClan did. They still had to figure out what to do about it, though, and in the meantime the dogs were still ravaging multiple clan's territories.

Just like in canon, these two disgruntled ThunderClan apprentices took it upon themselves to prove their worth by dealing with the dogs themselves. They snuck across the border to Snakerocks, but thankfully were saved by a SkyClan patrol before either of them were killed. They were still severely wounded of course, so they were brought back to SkyClan camp where the medicine cats managed to nurse them back to health.

Arrow is the messenger (in training) of Rivercrossing Village. They try to be kind but can get a short temper if something isn't going the way they'd expected it to.

They prefer to keep to themself most of the time, which is a big part of why they chose to become a messenger: a lot of their time is spent on the road with just their horse to keep them company.

Happy New Year! This is my final drawing of the 2023, a tradition I have been doing since 2016 but usually forget to actually post!

My only rules are that the art must feature either one or both of these characters, and the northern lights must be in it. I was actually feeling a bit uninspired and considered doing something completely different this year, but at the last minute I thought of something!

As you know I very rarely do fully shaded scenes, mostly because i'm not very confident about my skills ;-; this turned out gorgeous though, so maybe this will give me the confidence to do more of these next year.

I decided to give Clara an older brother. The two had a good relationship that became strained after Clara was turned, because Rick's online research led him to believe some not-so-great things about werewolves.

Tonight is a blue moon, which on Earth just means the second full moon within one calendar month. But I thought this would be a cool time to share some worldbuilding details for Magicarnivora, because the world of Carnissus has a literal blue moon!

Carnissus's moon is similar to Earth's in size, distance, orbital period, and composition. But its appearance has one very noticeable difference: There are three huge streaks of blue magic across its surface, often referred to as "The Scar". These are visible even when the moon is not lit by the sun. In addition to this, the moon itself emits a faint blueish glow for reasons that may or may not be related to The Scar.

The true age and origin of The Scar is unknown, although folklore often attributes it to some sort of battle between gods, due to its strong resemblance to claw marks.
