FInally getting around to posting all my zine works I have done last year. Here is the cover I drew for the Melia Antique zine!

Nobody pays much attention to NPC dialogue in older MH games, especially when a lot of NPC requests are just excuse plots for "hey get something for me/hey bash this monster's head in for me" but as someone who gobbles up NPC dialogue here is my appreciation post for the can of unhinged behavior that is Moga Sweetheart.

That's my favorite quirky, somewhat scatterbrained seaside Guild Gal right there. Tri is my first MH game, so what can I say, Moga Sweetheart/Aisha is dear to me.

I do find it funny she looks so cute but her crazy dialogue is delivered so casually - I think one of her chatter in Tri was even offhandedly mentioning Giggi sandwiches. And bless her, her quirks are still present in MHGU.

I dunno if the case here is the game wanted to censor the word kill and it got cut off to Aisha saying deliver the Ripened Mushrooms, but it would be funny when the game is all about hunting monsters.

If one accepts this quest but speaks to her again before you complete it, oddly enough she speaks like you've already done it, which leads to this golden exchange:

Aisha is joking...probably. But here'd she even get the idea of hanging up mushrooms like carcasses as a warning to other mushrooms...?

No wonder MHGU's hunter is implied to be seriously questioning Aisha's thought process lol.

But if one finishes the quest there is a proper conversation that acknowledges completion, and fulfilling it also unlocks Aisha as a possible room keeper.

All that effort and the reward is for Aisha to mooch off our lodgings while in Yukumo pfft. I do occasionally switch to her, but I always felt bad since the default Chamberlyne begs to never be replaced so I still keep the Chamberlyne posted.

In any case, it is funny that since one can station Aisha as a House keeper in all other lodgings, that means one could force her to stand guard in our Soaratorium cabin, so so much for her plans for free lodgings :b
