Was anyone gonna tell me we found who Cleo was??? The integration genius on math stack exchange from 10 years ago?
TLDR it was a professor from Uzbekistan named Viktor Reshetnikov who did it because he wanted people to be more interested in the niche problems people would post on there. Cleo wasn’t even his only account, he was doing multiple people

Hi! Sorry if you've answered this question before (because I feel like I've seen it somewhere, but I can't remember where ^_^;), but would you please be able to tell me how you coded your footnotes in SAtS? I've looked a few times, but I cannot find mention of how to do it, and I've never seen anyone else use them in a fic.
Hi! Sorry for the delayed reply. I've been at a conference all week and I'm pooped.
Here's some example footnote code from the body text (in this case, Chapter 11):
Not all of this is mandatory, like the superscripts and square brackets. I also like to include title text (mouseover text) but only because I'm a desktop dinosaur.
And here's the code that goes at the end of the chapter:
You can either put the second bit in the "Notes" section or in the work text---I've done the latter (since I wanted my footnotes included in the total word count). The horizontal line is optional. Also, you won't need the "div class=footnotes" unless you choose to define any CSS in your workskin; however, all I've done there is shrink the font size:
The other thing I'll mention is that the footnote link IDs should be unique to the work in its entirety---i.e., don't restart the count for each chapter, since it'll mess up the functionality in "Entire Work" mode.
I hope this is at least moderately helpful!
