Realizing some of the perspective on that bottom panel is off so I'm going to redo some of that. Don't be like me, always figure out your perspective early on instead of eyeballing it. It really helps.

I really like the idea that, since we know powerful room temperature superconductors are canon in Aphelion, the snake-carrier is inducing powerful magnetic fields in the ground below (potentially using its fancy new break engines) and riding along on top of that. The side effect of this is the lightning (as seen in Asher Ten) from the huge EM fields.

The important thing is that it looks fucking awesome.

I love this stupid game so much. Anyways I wanted to practice armor so here's a comic.

Volga is easily one of the best fighters in Hyrule Warriors: DE. He's fast, has good range, and every one of his attacks is either good or great. Meanwhile, Young Link just happens to be broken as fuck.

Also, it's funny that to unlock Young Link you have to fight him. And unlike Ravio he gives no justification. The little guy is just ready to throw down. So perhaps he's being manipulated into working for Cia. It wouldn't be too hard, given that he's a naive kid with a rejection complex.

The Bad Moon AU is getting a bit of a rename. Bad Moon is the arc in the era after Tears of the Kingdom. Link Death is the name of the entire AU. I'll tag things as both for a while.

Finally finished page 5 of Aphelion 4.0! Hopefully I'll get back on track for art soon.

I completely redid the second panel, the original was not working at all, and I think this one looks a lot better.

I have been miserably sick recently and uhhhh wow I am behind on stuff.

Anyways, since Floyd from Sanguine Tensor is getting revamped into Sixth Dragon in Living Creatures, he gets a little redesign. Just a collection of body parts puppeted by worms, including a humanoid one in a throne made of the bottom of his skull.

He probably used to be very impressive, but then Lioness shredded him. He's still quite dangerous though!

Oh to be a terrible dragon tucked in and oh so cozy in your little intestine nest.

Starting up page 5! Technically I've done a very similar scene with Srini's reentry vehicle before so I'm hoping to show this in a new and interesting way.

Might change that final panel, it's a bit wonky.

Doin' some more stuff for page 4. I really like the lighting in photos taken in space. There's no atmospheric scattering so everything is harsher and it lends a really alien feeling. We'll see if I can reproduce it.

Perhaps this page is a little bit of a test for Living Creatures, which will take place mostly in space.

Running into all sorts of compositional issues with black space and white and black spaceships, tricky!

The gray in the background right now is only gray so I can see what's happening. It will be set to 100% black in a little bit.

Another watercolor, in my blonde dog era. She was being SO BRAVE letting the scary stranger (me) pet her. Entire image is about 4"/10cm on each side, it's small!
