people not talking about garrus' elevator comments and continuously bashing ashley are SO wild to me like the conversation literally goes:

garrus: i hope your people feel bad for failing to genocide the geth

tali: i hope your people feel bad for actually genociding the krogan

garrus: that's assuming genociding the krogan is a mistake

how is ash accurately assessing humanity's position in relation to the council remotely even close to problematic when garrus says shit like this for free?? and im not bashing garrus here either, he's written in line with turian thinking (i could make an entire post on the ins and outs of me political world-building). its just so wild to me that since the game came out, ashley always got the heat for "racism" when it's made so explicit that humanity are on the back foot, and asari/turian/salarian parties hold all the power. even liara makes off-colour remarks about humans in me1.

can people going after ashley call out garrus for his comment about quarians in the elevator with tali or will we just hyperfocus on the one comment ashley makes about aliens on the citadel
