I chose your first prompt because I never draw these two enough. I had such a hard time figuring out which rendition, I decided to compile most of them like a mad man 🙌 I will say, this was definitely the most fun I’ve had working on a gift. I also adore the idea of these two just hanging out 🫂.

I have come to the realization that they do not wear pants.

I know I haven't posted in a LONG time but a funny headcannon just popped into my head. I think it would be hilarious if the 2012 TMNT boys had an atrociously dark sense of humor. Especially after Splinter dies they kind of use it as a coping mechanism to help process all their emotions without completely breaking down.

Anyway, all this to say is imagine like a huge crossover with all the TMNT universes and they all kind of know each other's stories. They tend to tred lightly over the topic of Splinter because even if the 2012 boys are dealing with it in their own way, it's still a bit of a touchy subject. So like one day they have a bit of a get together and one thing leads to another and somehow rottmnt!Leo and 2012!Leo get into an argument. Like its nothing serious just a bit of back and forth for the sake of annoying each other, as teenage boys do. And as rottmnt!Leo's mouth runs faster than his brain when it comes to quips he accidentally says:

"That's some fatherless behavior, honestly."

When I tell you it is DEAD quiet after he says that. Everyone's stomachs drop to their ass and poor rottmnt!Leo is mid way into a panic attack as he stumbles over an apology. But the tension is all of a sudden broken when 2012!Leo starts wheezing with laughter, his brothers cackling in the background along with him. Everyone is looking at them with so much concern, wondering if this was some sort of mental breakdown, all the while the 2012 boys are all rolling on the floor laughing as if this is the best joke they have ever heard in their lives.
