The turtles first friend/big sister/cousin . She's known the turtles and splinter since she was 10 after falling down a drainage ditch. She tryed to keep it secret from her parents but a kid can only come home smelling like sewer so many times. Her parents came to treat the hamatos like family.

April now is a punk rock teen with a blog about her local (lower East Side) LES neighborhood called the Punk Press. April head writer of Punk Press along with her nerdy friend Irma and some help from head editor donni and freelance photographer Vern. She has also trained with splinter but is not completely on the turtle level. Her weapon of choice is the Kanobo a Japanese club but any bat will do.

Reaction to the guilded city

Surprisingly chill. April has had the weirdest luck of all time so of course  something like that would be happening.

she tries to steer clear of doing any magic herself but things just tend to happen with her no matter what. She learns she was destined to become a hamato mystic.

She has a spirit guide of a teenage Japanese girl in a hakama with a sword through her stomach. She has asked to be called Shenobi .

Shenobi tells her that she must nurture the hamato's energies but to do so she must find her soul sisters.

Hamato clan patriarch Hamato Yoshi. He is a kind and peaceful soul. He trys to be more open and honest with his sons then his own father was to him. He trys to give each of his sons time to spend with him and share things they enjoy with him. He often paints and draws with Raphael and Michaelangelo. He watches Asian soap operas with leonardo. He is also very proud of donatello's theatre kid tendencies.

Splinter was very hesitant to start the boys training remembering what it was like being taught by his own father but did start them. understanding the world being the way it was they would need to know how to protect themselves. He started basics when they were 5 ,Hand to hand sparring at 8, And weapons training at 10. he makes a clear distinction between sensei and father mode. He wears samue instead of his robe on lazy days.

He has tried to tell some stories of his youth to the boys but any thing between the ages of 16 and 18 is off limits. It is far too painful.

Guilded city thoughts

The guilded city gave Yoshi the feeling of seeing new york for the first time all over again. His experience with regular new york prepared him to be carful and cautious until he got a handle on things.

He had a Mystic patron that gifted him power while working in Her service.

He still has these powers but uses them sparingly. The turtles rediscovering the guilded city gave splinter a sense of guilt at hiding it from them and fear at having them explore it without him.

Hamato Michelangelo the defacto youngest turtle. While all the boys are the same age they treat mikey like the baby. Sometimes he loves that but often he doesn't. He thinks it has to do with his looks.Compared to his brothers he is shorter and rounder and he doesn't like that.

Mikey is a ninjutsu prodigy. He learns new moves faster than his brothers and has the wisdom of a monk but he lacks focus. Splinter recognizes that his youngest  son's talent and his natural skill can make him lazy. He often helps  splinter during demonstrations to keep him from being distracted. Mikey like to pull inspiration from a lot of different places and has self taught himself some kungfu and capoeira stances.

Outside of training mikey likes to draw, cook, skate and dance. He likes to hang out and talk with all his brothers but leo is the only one to enjoy his pestering .He watches superhero shows and his favorite comic is turtle titan.

Guilded city

The guilded city to mike is a dream come true. He's one with the city and feels at home. Pretty soon after finding the guilded city the boys are introduced to Big Mama a  "friend" of splinter. Mikey warms up to her immediately calling her mom to his brothers' discomfort. By worming his way into her heart mikey is gifted some powers

• Multiple astral arms

Later into their mystic adventures mikey helps a child of sun wukong the monkey king and gains a boon he has not cashed in , more powers and some gear

• Flying leaps

• Super speed

• Super agility

Mikey combines the powers into a spidermonkey style with hit and run like tactics meant to confuse and infuriate opponents.

Younger twin of Raff. The two were attached at the hip when they were young but now they have there own space.Donni misses the closeness.

Donni is the most book-smart of the boys being mostly interested in computers and engineering. Donni considers themself the weakest fighter of the 4 and has always tried to make up for that with tech and elaborate plans. Donni is a social chameleon adapting to his display of emotions to fit with which brother he is trying to please.

He gained a love for the performing arts from splinter listening to musicals and operas. Outside of training and tech donni is the biggest gamer of the boys.He has cleared servers with his skills. Don is more like raff than most expect. He has his own outbursts they are just expressed differently. Raff lashes out physically while Donni lashes out verbally. Favorite comic is called professor grotesque, a body horror adaptation of dr jeykle and mr hyde

Thoughts on guilded city

Amazed but furious. Magic went against everything he had ever belived to be true so it took a while to come around to it. He began an apprenticeship with the owner of a alchemy and bookshop Baron Draxum. Studying the scrolls made him understand that magic was just another way of rearranging matter and runes were like formulas. His new alchemist and wizard powers are:

• Various potions

• Detection of magic

• Creation of magical weapons

• Knowledge of runes

• Alchemy circles

His current project with draxum is try to create a gun wand.(gods help us all)
