And how is that going to come back to eat his ass later on, why when Donnie gets his memories back and confronts Draxum, how is Draxum going to confront him, how is he going to look at this kid, who essentially is still his son and tell him that despite everything, he still loves him? Knowing that all this time he refused to acknowledge that they are the same person? Knowing that this child now remembers all the things he said? Knowing that any justification he can give is not going to work.... And that he has essentially nowhere to run?

The problem is that germany is guilty of the circumstances that created Israel as it is today.

Speak against israel and most older germans will assume you're denying your responsibility in our "redemption". But like-

You gotta understand, they were RAISED with the idea that we owe israel an amount we can never repay.

(Litterally btw. After the war we owed them 1.5 billion dollars (which is 17.6 billion dollars today) for every jew that fled there from us, plus the around 6 billion dollars worth of destroyed property. Even though we could never make up for what we did with just money obviously!)

When my parents read "Israel" they don't read the name of a state, they read "Children of the innocents we have mass-slaughtered". They remember the pictures of corpse-piles, the gas chambers in the concentration camps (which were mandatory to visit in a lot of schools).

I'm obviously not saying that to defend Germany, just to explain. If we want to change how Germany looks at the genocide, it won't work if we try to divorce Israel from its victim-status. But by realizing that their victim-status doesn't excuse them MASS-MURDERING innocent palestine children. They're repeating the crimes we commited on them, and it IS our duty to stop it from happening.

Germans excuse Israel's crimes because they can't get over their own (Not that we ever should "get over our own", jesus christ, but blindly supporting our victims in their genocide doesn't magically absolve us, if anything, it makes us accomplices. Which would mean we've learned nothing)

📹 Jewish German peace activist, Udi Raz, based in Berlin, accuses the German government of suppressing peace protests against the Israeli occupation's genocide in Gaza.

According to Raz, the German authorities continue to suppress the Palestine solidarity movement, accusing the German authorities of doing all it can to silence protesters.

The activist slams the Israeli occupation, which publicly accuses the pro-Palestine peace movement of antisemitism, while at the same time, the Zionist occupation declares its ability to speak for all Jews around the world.

"Israel cannot speak in the name of Jews," Raz tells Anadolu News Agency. "Whoever claims otherwise, to my understanding, this is an antisemitic claim."

"Jews are diverse. Jews live in diverse and different geopolitical contexts and national contexts," the Jewish peace activist continues.

"We Jews who live here in Germany, of course, we care about other Jews who live elsewhere, but it does not mean that we are ambassadors of a racist state called the state of Israel," Raz added.
