If an axe can cut a tree and an apple, but a knife can cut an apple but not a tree, and a knife is sharp, does that make an axe sharp? Is there something that isn't sharpness that makes an axe able to cut a tree and an apple? What makes an axe good at cutting trees and apples? How does paper effect this because it can't cut an apple or a tree but can cut flesh?

I made a ven diagram to show my thoughts.

The only possible answer is that a hand saw is the best possible item and we should only use them instead of paper, a knife or an axe.
