Today, the Palestine tag is trending on Tumblr — and among the posts is a photo of my daughter, Ronza. A fragile little girl suffering from severe malnutrition, whose story I shared, pleading for help. Her image is now reaching millions of people... but sadly, only a few have responded.

We are not okay. We are not safe. We are living in unimaginable conditions — and tomorrow is Eid al-Adha, a holiday that should bring joy, new clothes, laughter, and celebration to children. But how can my children celebrate when there is no food, no water, no medicine? How can they smile in new clothes when their weak bodies can barely stand?

We are in Gaza — trapped, starving, broken. Every day is a battle for survival.

Nader @abdalsalam2000 is in Gaza during an internet blackout, he and his family are in serious danger and they can’t communicate it to the world because the internet is cut off and e-sims are very slow. He’s a 17 year old boy who is fundraising to support his family of eight, including his father who is sick with cancer and needs treatment. Please help me share his story while he is away. i’ve only briefly heard from him in the past few days, and the situation is extremely dangerous. Do you remember that little girl? I'm sure you've seen her picture before, but you didn't know her story or what she was suffering from because you hadn't read before.

This is my little girl Ronza, she was born in the war and she is now one year old and her birthday was two weeks ago. She didn't celebrate it either. Ronza suffers from malnutrition and she appealed before.

Today, we had her blood tested, and the result was heartbreaking: 🔴 Hemoglobin level: 7.3 🥺

This is extremely low and means she is suffering from severe anemia that threatens her life.

Under normal conditions, this could be treated.

But here in Gaza…

There is no adequate food

No proper medicine

No functional hospitals

No safety and no means to provide her with basic care

Ronza is suffering from extreme weakness, pale skin, and lack of energy, and she is in urgent need of medical treatment and proper nutrition — simply to survive.

As a heartbroken father watching his child wither in his arms, I beg for your help.

Today, a massacre occurred in the aid distribution area in Gaza in the Zikim region. The Nazi Israeli army killed no less than 150 people who were waiting for aid. More than 100 children, boys and girls, today lost their parents and were waiting for food, but they lost the most precious thing they had.

Not going towards aid is another problem. You will not get any aid to feed your children and satisfy their hunger. You will either die through death traps or die of starvation.

How long will this suffering continue? How long will we endure? When will it be our turn to leave? Will we return then or not? We need your help a lot. Our children need to satisfy their hunger and need their parents by their side, not dead. Please Donate now
