Since it's pride month and I haven't made anything for my LGTBQ+ characters, I decided to make these picrews of two of my couples.

How to write hospital scenes 

From someone who’s definitely been in too many and would very much like a refund...ツ

⊹ Waiting rooms are emotional purgatory. They’re too bright, too quiet, and weirdly timeless. Fluorescent lights buzzing, TVs playing muted news no one watches, coffee that tastes like burnt stress. People aren’t relaxing in there, they’re just existing, awkwardly pretending their phones are interesting while dissociating at 40% battery.

⊹ Everyone talks in a whisper, but not because it’s respectful, no, it just feels wrong to speak normally. Like the walls might be listening, like if you talk too loud, something worse might happen, even the loud people get quiet in hospitals.

⊹ Overnight stays are hell. hospital chairs? medieval torture devices with upholstery. even if someone’s trying to nap next to a patient, they’re not sleeping. They’re half-listening to the symphony of beeping machines, nurse shoes squeaking, the occasional cough, and distant Code Something crackling over the intercom. it’s anxiety with a blanket.

⊹ The smell is unforgettable, like it’s not just antiseptic. it’s plastic and cafeteria meatloaf and sweat and fear and the smell of a place where people are very much not okay. the first time your character walks in, it’ll hit them like a wall. later, they might not even notice, or maybe it’s the only thing they can smell for days after.

⊹ Talking to doctors is a weird performance. You're trying to be calm, they’re trying to be calm. But no one is calm, your character wants to ask 47 questions and not sound desperate. The doctor explains things like they’re narrating a science video, and when they leave, someone will immediately go “wait... we forgot to ask” every. single. time.

⊹ Monitors beep constantly. half the time, it’s nothing. A wire got loose, someone rolled over. But the second it is something, the vibe shifts fast. Nurses appear like ghosts, machines start going off, and everyone starts moving. And your character? they might freeze, or panic, or forget they have lungs. Go with whatever makes sense for them, but make it visceral.

⊹ Time goes full funhouse mirror. Ten minutes waiting for test results feels like a year. A full hour stretches into eternity, meanwhile, three hours can pass without anyone realizing it. You can use this in your pacing, make it drag when the waiting is unbearable.

⊹ Hospital cafeteria food: Garbage. It’s either offensively bland or stupidly overpriced. The grilled cheese is six dollars and tastes like regret, and someone will 100% cry into a cold sandwich at 3am, because grief doesn’t care where you are.

⊹ People start fixating on tiny, random things. They can’t control the big stuff, so their brain zeroes in on a sock slipping off, a crooked IV pole, the repetitive drip-drip-drip of medication. Let them obsess over something small, it’s how the brain copes with being completely powerless...

Would you ever change the fc's to any of your LI's? If so, who would you change them to?

Hey! Thanks for the question!

So I have thought of changing the fc's to some. The main one I was thinking of was Thomas Hunt. I wasn't personally 100% onboard with Henry Cavill being my fc for Hunt, but i did see a lot of similarities so that was the reason why I chose him. I don't know at this moment who I would currently choose to change his fc to.

The only other main one as of right now I could see changing is maybe Prince Clarke. Don't get me wrong, I love having Aaron Tveit as his fc, but at the same time, I feel he is a little old for the character as it seems Clarke is around the same age as the mc who is around 20 (yes I know that characters aren't always portrayed by people who are of similar age to them and it still works). Right now, if I had to change his fc, it would maybe be Tom Francis but idk.

Otherwise the only fc to an LI I have changed at this current moment is Ethan Ramsey. I also have no other current plans to change and fc's of any Li's as I do believe that most of them fit (such as Jesse Williams as Tobias Carrick, which will most likely never change)

Note: I will do more of these for my other mc's/oc's at some point, I'm going to wait until the game has its next major update, as there are a lot of things that should be added (including the new Pewter Super Swing Costume and the Toby Marlow Six Proshot Premiere Costume)

Adelaide Barnes Six Photos

So, I've made a lot of posts about my MC's and OC's in SIX. But I wanted to make these for all of my MC's and OC's in as many costumes as possible (so hopefully this should be the last time for a while, or until this game probably gets a (major) update again).

So here's the one's for Adelaide Barnes (my Open Heart OC).

Also, the game was created by lightleckrereins!

Starting off with the principal costumes. Aragon is top left, Boleyn is top middle, Seymour is top right, Cleves is bottom left, Howard is bottom middle, and Parr is bottom right, for anyone who doesn't know six and the costumes (it will also be this way for every costume cluster).

Next is the Black SwAlt (Swing + Alternate(Alt)) Costume. It was the first non principal costume color to be introduced so I did it first.

Next is the Teal. Some of these are a lighter teal and some are a darker teal. When Alternates would wear SwAlt costumes for all queens (including first covers), the teal was lighter. When the teal pants variation became the standard teal costume, the teal became darker (so the other variations don't have the darker teal option).

Next is the orange costume. Unlike the last two SwAlt costumes, the orange only has had two canon variations, Cleves/Shorts variation and Parr/pants variation (which the Cleves/shorts was the old Cleves design and was only in Australia).

Next is Pink, which very similar to orange, Only has 1 variation irl. That variation is the one used for Aragon. (This might change as some people assume that one of the new West End Super Swings, Laura, has pink and could get variations).

And to end the canon SwAlt costume colors is Silver (I put it last as it is the last one to be introduced, at the time of making this (as some assume that Laura could have a new costume, if she doesn't have pink). Silver also doesn't have six variations, it only canonically has 4 (A/H skirt, Cleves outfit, Parr Pants, and Boleyn skirt (so far only Esme has had the B Skirt)). Which means Aragon and Seymour (and the Howard Skirt) aren't real, and Aragon and Seymour's costumes are as what I think their variations would look like (or as close as possible).

And now onto the unofficial SwAlt costumes (aka Sixsonas), these are costumes made by lightleckrereins (who also created the game) and six-musical-refs. Since there are enough sixsona costumes to make two casts, that is what i did. I am going to list their color and what alt pairing they would be used for.

Unless you've been in a coma, it's laughable to pretend any of this is surprising, when during the past week alone, Israel has:

- Bombed Iran, unprovoked, killing at least 60 including 20 children (x)

- Bombed Beirut on the eve of Eid (x)

- Continued its massacres across Gaza, targeting displacement tents, killing at least 38 today alone (x), and dozens more as they waited in line for food (x)

- Cut off Gaza's internet access, further isolating them amidst the genocide (x)

- Placed the West Bank in Palestine on total siege (x)

Yes somehow, somehow, they're still acting as victims.
