Fact check: without a map in front of me, I can say this is definitely NOT last night's map. AT LEAST two more heavily populated counties in TX went blue- Bexar (San Antonio) and Dallas (Dallas). I wonder which map this is - anyone know?

Romney - Red & Obama - Blue
It’s a sad day when the majority of Americans voted for someone to be President and our voices got OVER-RULED.
Maybe after these 4 years y’all will understand that Obama was not the best choice for moving this country, ‘forward.’

The meat you put in your MOUTH contains BLOOD (omg no way). It’s not an insult, it’s a literal description of what you are.
If you don’t want to be called bloodmouth then stop eating meat.
Why do I even have to explain this?

Everyone in America should know that an actual candidate for U.S. Senate said this about women who are raped.

The critics talk about, “Oh, the market would have balanced things out.” But that’s like saying, “In the long run, we’ll all be dead.”

Obama’s speech on infrastructure, edited to omit all the relative information by Romney’s ‘Ministry Of Truth’ [see 1984]. We are a nation of sound byte junkies. Read the entire quote and “you didn’t build that” has zero value for the opposition.

The internet is not a joke
Real Life: That was a terrible joke.
Ron Paul: It is not explicitly written in the Constitution that I can judge you for a joke.
Internet: That person is a , and I will inform other people that I was upset with them by wildly blowing it out of proportion and taking it far too seriously whilst hiding behind an anonymous screenname.

Negative points for suggesting that Paul Ryan will debate Barack Obama (VP candidates don't debate presidential candidates), and additional negative points for suggesting that Ryan would even come remotely close to beating the President in a debate.

NBC, your coverage of the Opening Ceremony was bad, and you should feel bad. When Lauer, Costas, and Viera weren't blabbering about how fast people were walking, or about small countries having a troubled past, it was a very good show. Except for that whole tribute to the 7/7 victims, which you decided was less important than Ryan Seacrest asking Phelps if he would consider himself the greatest athlete evar (which is an unfathomably stupid question to ask someone).
tl;dr: NBC bad, London good.

Is it unreasonable for companies to pay fair money to students who are producing profits for them?
No. The hallmark of a mature civilization is that workers get paid for their value approximate to their output.
The worst of these is the media. They "hire" college journalism students, knowing they are desperate for any experience, and send them out to do full stories that their full-time staff normally does, then pay them in "experience".
Experience doesn't put food on the table or pay for college education. This isn't 1970 - college education is considerably more expensive and jobs after graduation are not guaranteed.
It's not only unfair to the unpaid interns, but it's unfair to the employed workers. In business terms, it of course would be more beneficial for the company to employ people who don't get paid, rather than hire an employee who actually gets paid. The almighty dollar rules.
It is the government's job to ensure the people are not being taken advantage of by corporations. In most cases, it does a very bad job, but this is one where it is halfway decent.
Free labor, while it may exist in a truly free market, should not exist in a civilized society.
And Stossel is a twat.
Unless the company providing the internship “derives no immediate advantage from the activities of the intern” (US Labor Dept).
So I guess Bill Clinton broke that law too.
Sorry, I had to.
But this is seriously stupid. Kids are getting paid. It may not be with actual currency, but that real...
