as much as it’s just fanfiction, I’m sorry but I absolutely hate when people write Negan as a rapist when he’s the complete opposite of that. it’s so OOC. He hates sexual violence and even killed one of his own men that tried to rape a member of Rick’s group in the comics. it’s just not something the character is associated with like let’s say The Governor is.

so yeah, again, it’s just fanfiction, but, writing him as a rapist is taking away a huge part of his personality and a part of why so many people love him. rant over.

what she means: don't mind me i'm just living in a consistent state of abject horror that gimple might actually chose to give Carl Grimes' amazing and unique storyline with Negan to another character like Enid or Michonne and/or pollute or dilute said storyline so much that it barely even exists. and we will be forced to sit through episodes upon episodes about teenage hormones or creepy negan x another adult shipping instead while my son is once again relegated to not being allowed any feelings or plotlines or consequences. despite kirman saying over and over how he is the most important player in the comics but y'know whatever it's fine maybe gimple's lying.

rereading the walking dead and stumbled across this!! the first time kirkman spoke about the TV show for reals (he mentioned it before but it was integrated into answers and not a stand alone announcement)

what’s really pissing me off is that jdm fucking nailed negan. his performance was flawless. that is exactly what i wanted out this character and he absolutely blew me away. it was incredible. he brought this character to life with all his terrifying charisma, he made me feel the same heart-sinking terror i felt when negan was first introduced in the comics. he embodied negan entirely. and yet the character’s entrance was still ruined– not because of jdm, but because scott gimple is too chicken shit to kill off a core member. he’s too afraid of plummeting to the ratings basement. he’s too afraid people won’t tune in next season. so he ruins an iconic scene and, therefore, ruins the otherwise incredible entrance of an iconic character with the sorriest excuse for a cliffhanger. a cliffhanger whose big reveal won’t be kept secret because it means someone is losing their job and someone won’t be filming the entireity of season seven. and on top of ALL OF THAT he doesn’t even have the decency to TELL HIS FUCKING CAST WHICH ONE OF THEM IS AT THE END OF THAT BAT. i’m honestly convinced that gimple hasn’t even made that decision. and it’s utterly lazy, fear-fueled story telling. it’s fucking awful. i’m so mad. i want to congratulate jdm on an incredible performance and i hope he knows how appreciated his take on negan was because it, along with the rest of the casts’ flawless performances, was one of the only good things about that finale.

So in the last episode of Season 6 when Rick and Morgan head ‘East’ to find Carol, they run into some harmless dude looking for his horse. We don’t see him closeup but it looks like he’s wearing poorly crafted armor.

Jesus has already told the survivors that their world is ‘about to get a whole lot bigger’, suggesting more communities that just The Hilltop, Alexandria and The Saviors. Anyone else with me in thinking he’s from the Kingdom?

Does this mean we’ll get to see Ezekiel and Shiva next season?
