I'm Mod Soapy, and I've started this project to honor all things Zedaph-y! And what better to celebrate our favorite pink and yellow content creator than a zine full of amazing art and writing all about him?! From the early days of Moonlight SMP to his recent chicken-villager jockey experiments, Zed's always full of surprises and wacky delightful science as he does things his own way.

Simple life spoilers below!

Alright. So here is my little angsty rant. I’ve always viewed Real Life as a sort of Listener induced dream state in order to help the players resolve their pain and heal.

I see Simple life in the same vein, but this time, the Listeners are forcing the players to confront their greatest past fears and pains while giving them the tools to do so in a ‘healthy’ manner.

Tango is being forced to confront his rage and emotions. Being berated for wearing a helmet, having his safety burned down, threats from above, all with little support from others to fall back on. But he has a sense of numbness about it all, being able to face those challenges without letting his emotions consume him.

Scar is forced to face his villain hood, however unintentional. He caused death and destruction in his wake. But instead of being shut out, he his praised for it, letting him accept himself for who he is.

Scott is forced to win again. To watch those he cares about fall around him. But this win does not hold as much weight, it is not a burden. He is able to process his own grief without conflict.

Martyn has to watch Ren die, go on without him. But they do not have the same bond. Martyn has other places to go. His grief is quiet. It is easy to move on and find another way. To find unburdened solace in his lone nature.

Grian is forced to face his destructive nature, his urge to cause pain. How easily he hurts those around him. But he is being shown that those incidents were not his fault, how easy it is to make those same mistakes and fall of one’s own accord.

Jimmy if forced to have trust in himself. He doesn’t have things done for him. He doesn’t get help. But he doesn’t die first. He, for the most part, finds success in his own actions.

Please do feel free to add on, I can’t watch/think of one for everyone. But I feel this is the best way to deal with the whole canon not canon thing. They are canon, but in a separate vein, controlled by the Listeners instead of the Watchers.

A quick message to any content creator who may come across this.

Please don't use ai. Sure it might make it easier and less time consuming for you, and there might be a chance that it doesn't screw up with plot or plot holes, but trust me, or at least your followers, when we say we would rather enjoy whatever scheme or plot you come up with that doesn't use ai. We enjoy your videos. We enjoyed your videos before there was ai, and we'll enjoy them when their isn't.

I can guarantee you that the people who watch you now are not watching your videos because they have ai, but rather, because it has you. Because YOU are the one who made it. So please, just. don't.
