His father was a foreigner,an agent, always travelling the world, due to this he wasn't exactly close with his dad, his dad and his mother met at Estonia, where his mother resided in.

His father being a top agent within the organization he worked in, was allowed to have freedom regarding "love". But this didn't mean he was free from orders and tasks, when he was asked, he must deliver

As Nikola grew and his father spent more time with them as the years flew by, he grew "weaker" less efficient as what the organization would call it, his father would only visit a few times every year, but every time they would spend It either training or "bonding"

Determining the source to be obviously the "Family" he has nurtured, the organization planned for his family to be exterminated,

Shortly after the plan was set in action, he caught wind of the threat and immediately rushed to Estonia where his son, Nikola and his wife, Irin Tamm resided in,

Irin Tamm was a independent woman, having a job as a surgeon and being declared a genius by others,

Nikola being 19 when it started, was living in a different place from his mother, the agents arrived and killed Irin first, they quickly set on to get Nikola next shortly after, Michael Andres, his father arrived before the agents, he knew they would get to Irin first and had to go to Nikola first to increase his chances.

Michael died that very same day, luckily enough, the organization overestimated Michael's trust and loyalty with them and only sent 2 agents, the 1st was one dealt with by the father and son, the 2nd one shared the same fate but brought down Michael with him,

Michael truly wanted to say so much to Nikola, things he couldn't say for they would only meet a handful of times every year, but he decided on 1 without further judgement to whatever he was about to say.

"Switch em down.. son."

He proceeded to hand him a pistol, and as stated, adviced Nikola to quote on quote, "gun down them f###s" Nikola occasionally trained during the span of a year or two to "complete" his father's request, looking back at it now he can't help but shed a smile due to how his father worded it

Nikola shaped to be a respectful man, skilled in combat and knowledgeable in medicine, despite his personality he failed to make friends since, he lacked decent social skills

But before all of that.. he had a hard time at college, was lucky to have been able to strung sentences together at the first day, wasn't always the adaptable one, sudden culture shock nearly had him see his parents again.

Picked up on his mother's intellect, and clumsiness, at the school chess tournament he knocked all the pieces accidentally with how much his hand was shaking.. even with the ordeal, he still came out on the top

Drifting from the main story.. he wasn't anxious just because of the new environment, he was terrified, literally. Who wouldn't? Your parents just got killed,

He's surprisingly doing better than most at his situation, gotta give it to him, the kid was strong willed from the start, got that from his father.
