little thoughts about Leo placements Sun - Saturn.
Leo Sun
A desire to be noticed for their drama, nobleness, showmanship, flair and creative imprint unique to them which they leave on the world. The ego is comfortably expressed here, but often wants recognition for their specialness. Or if afflicted, could shy away from the spotlight and repress their talents. Usually a motivating, confident and energising individual. Notices the unique talents in others. Big on loyalty and generosity. In life, they are called to stand apart from the crowd. Hypersensitivity, pride and selfishness could hinder their growth in life. Needs to be open to other people’s input. In life, they set lofty goals for themselves and work towards them with a determination that they will succeed. Creativity is dependent upon the health of the ego. They need to be mindful of the company they keep. Needs to understand that validity comes within.
空の青さを知る人よ or you're probably more familiar with its English title; Her Blue Sky, makes me learn about new perspective on seeing this life. Especially because of the proverb that I personally think is the core of this movie; 井の中の蛙大海を知らず、されど空の青さを知る (the frog in the well does not know the ocean, but knows the blueness of the sky).
It's the first part of the proverb that we often hear. And the first part only kind of always has this negative vibe about it, especially with its meaning of someone whose being too sheltered, not open minded at all for all the life their spent in a well only. But adding the second part? It makes the proverb has a different meaning altogether for me.
It means that it's okay to be stuck in a place, even though it's less adventurous, but there is always something that you can value from it. And that's what this movie is trying to convey.
In the movie, Akane doesn't want to get out from the countryside and does a boring routine despite her high school boyfriend (Shinno) who has huge ambition already asked her to move to Tokyo with him. But no, Akane refuses and stays in countryside, to take care of her little sister, Aoi, as their parents are just recently passed away. Time goes, Aoi grows to feel bad about her sister, because she can't pursue her dream of being in a band together with Shinno in a big city. And along the story, each characters learned a little bit more about life and each other.
So, yes, the movie conveys the message beautifully. With amazing art and scoring. And it makes me feel grateful at life because, yes, I kinda feel stuck as well. Like I need to broaden my reach and being so ambitious about it its tiring me out. But sometimes, I need to just stop and look up, and value the blue sky above me because even though being stuck, not everything is all bad.
Slytherins are the ones who dream. Who paint even though they never learned how. They are the ones who keep journals and write poetry. Who ask others to tell them a story. They stare at the clouds and watch them form shapes, unmindful of the grass prickling against their elbows.
