Twilight Faze Updates (Yeah, not Footsy this time)

Hey folks, Twilight Faze here! Footsy's out of commission since he's getting plastic for his mouth and bleach for his eyes (Seriously, people DON'T DO THIS. It's one thing for Footsy, but if humans put bleach in the eyes, you will go blind permanently and the process will be unbearably painful. I shouldn't have to put this disclaimer, but after the Tide Pod Challenge some time ago, I can't leave anything to chance. DON'T DO IT!!!). So I have some announcements: 1) First and foremost, starting Wednesday we're going to be doing our Twitch streams at noon. Next week will be Thursday, then Friday, etc. We're trying to find a good time to get Footsy with some people to chat nonsense with that's convenient for the viewers. So far, noon has been the sweet spot hour to start, but we'll adjust if another time is better overall. 2) Footsy has been on my case to get a green screen. I've decided once I file my taxes this year, I'll go hunt for an affordable one as well as a camera mount for my webcam. It's been positioned traditionally above my monitor even now, making keeping me out of the shot near impossible. This will be after April, but realistically I'll be hunting around late February to early March. 3) As for the Legend of Pangaea, I've decided to scrap doing demos. The game itself is not scrapped, but I realized I've been so focused on making the demo right and playable, I've spent NO time progressing the story, mechanics, or anything else. As I write, the game evolves and grows almost like a life of it's own. I need to complete that before I let audiences enjoy what I have to offer. I know I promised version 0.5 for some time, but it's not gonna happen. The next time you see a Demo, it will be a full version 1.0, but that won't be for a few years yet. For now, I'm just going to worry about the basics and get the main script going. Maybe fiddle with Spriter and create some custom characters for Zero and the gang. 4) Due to recent events, holidays, and personal shenanigans, I haven't been able to post the videos from Twitch on YouTube. I'll try to knock that out in the next couple days. Don't expect anything special. It's raw video footage from the stream. I haven't had time to teach myself video editing. I'm sorry if I've disappointed any fans out there. If the call for a demo is strong enough, I'll at least put back version 0.4, but because it has a couple of bugs (one game-breaking), I'm hesitant to do so. Either way, Footsy will be back in action in a couple days, so you can look forward to everyone's favorite sock puppet talking about nothing as usual! Once again, thank you to everyone who's been showing support, given their ideas, and spreading the word! Your support means the world to me. I started with almost nothing and now I have a boatload of tools, a mascot, and a couple hundred fans. I'm deeply grateful for all your support and hope I can continue to grow with you in 2019!

Long Time Since My Last Post

Hiya humans! Footsy the Sock Puppet here! So Twilight Faze and I have been talking and we're thinking about doing a bit of changes coming 2019. First off, we're thinking of changing our Twitch live stream time to high noon, Pacific time since it seems to be more active then, maybe earlier. We might keep it Wednesdays, but we'll be changing it every week to find a more suitable day for everyone until we can find that one "sweet spot" day and time. Also, I've been mainly keeping to what Twilight Faze's game is doing (I'll still do that), what rumors I think are interesting and doing a game and song review. BUUUUT, I don't care for it. We're a gaming team, so I'll keep it to a gaming review after we hit 2019. I'm also gonna get into what Twilight Faze does with his week since we actually do go out sometimes. Also, I don't know about the rest of you, but I need a green screen. The background stinks worse than a jogger's sole while running in the July sun! We'll look into getting a green screen finally so we can at least get some interesting backgrounds. It'll probably mess with my eye making it see-through or something, but whatever. Twilight Faze is against it, but I'd rather it do that than people stare at a boring blue wall behind me. More updates to come! I'll talk about this on the next stream on Wednesday to see what people think. Also, I'm sure people want to know how come the Partnership page hasn't been up. Well, Twilight got to talking with an attorney about it and while the setup process for the studio would be simple, he realized he's not really bringing anything to the table except that he's got several game ideas to keep the studio going. Other than that, he can't pay wages, he can't provide benefits, he can't...well, he can't do much. So for now he's sticking back to solo unless someone is as dedicated as him to join him after all. So far, no takers. Also, I talked about this in one of my streams, but the reason I haven't posted any videos from recent streams is time issues. I need to fix that. I'm looking into video editing, but we're just not that skilled yet. Ah well, we need to keep the videos up. I think on Tuesday we'll gather up past videos we're missing and upload those. Just want to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who watches my videos. I know they're short, but the fact you bother at all makes me very happy. We also thank everyone for their support for Twilight Faze and his one man army endeavor to creating the game!

Footsy’s New Look and Twilight Faze’s Partnership

Heya, human peoples! Footsy the Sock Puppet here! Wanted to touch up a couple things form the last video!​ So to folks who even watched my last video, I bet two things have crossed your mind: 1. "Jeremy Crockett, Footsy, your new look is just GHASTLY!!" and 2. "So Twilight Faze is hiring? Where do I sign up???" To the first one, frankly I like my new look. I look more like a sock and I have COLOR! See, while I'M happy with my new look, Twilight isn't and thinks I should look like how I did before but just move my colored mouth and eyes to replace my old cardboard mouth and drawn on eyes. I'm not against it, but...well, let's leave me as I am for a couple more weeks and see what you guys think. If you're not a fan, we'll look into making a newer body. To the second one (and this is the bulk of this post)....no, he's not HIRING, he's looking to PARTNER UP. Not very actively since he doesn't have an actual business under his name, but he's EXTREMELY aware that his game shoulda been done a long time ago. Even for one guy RPG Maker ain't hard to use and shouldn't take that long. But it has for him. Don't worry, folks, he ain't giving up or calling it quits. When he started, he just didn't realize his personal life would through that many curveballs at him. He's been dealing with obstacle after obstacle while doing this all by himself. I should warn you, though: Even if it's just him, he's still very selective about who he wants to team up with. Gotta remember this is a non-paying gig since he doesn't even have 1 game out. No benefits neither, so you better have a day-job. On the bright side, you choose which hours you want to work and which 2 days off you want and you can work in your undies from home. Because he's working with an RPG Maker MV engine, you GOTTA own your own RPG Maker MV if you plan to directly work on the game, such as art, sound, programming, etc. Sorry, but it's for legal reasons since a bunch of licenses went into this game, so it's mummified in legal red tape. If you just wanna do plug-ins or the business/marketing aspect, though, then nah, you don't need to get your own RPG Maker MV copy. Just tell us how you plan to contribute and show us what you can do. "Sounds like hiring to ME, Footsy!" It kinda is, but not really. Fazer here is really passionate about getting this off the ground, but it gets mistaken for being a hobby to those on the outside. For fun. Yeah, he has fun and wants others to as well. But he wants it to go well too. He's looking for people with the same drive as him, not just someone looking to dabble. Because of that, he's REALLY selective. Only fair, right? I know, the e-mail doesn't sound professional. Well, that's because it costs money Faze doesn't have yet to get (or more accurately re-enable) his official e-mail. He plans to get that back once enough people are working at his side. It's not feasible for just one guy for now. This one is obvious, but I should point it out anyway: You gotta speak English. Doesn't need to be your first language, but you gotta know enough to at LEAST hold a conversation. As much as Twilight Faze wants to localize to other countries, he's gotta do it in his home turf first. We don't care if your English is broken (unless you're applying to be a writer for anything. Then it matters!), so long as we understand what you are saying and what we are saying, we'll get along fine. Wow. Big ol' wall of text, huh?
