headcanon mobians do go into hibernation but not all the time. Sonic has never hibernated once in his life since he never felt safe enough. Now that feels very safe and secure around Shadow , his body is starting to finally allow itself to hibernate.

why are you a twink shadow

That's a great question. A long time ago, there were only two twinks: twink infinite and twink mephiles.

They wished to get married- but, sadly, there was no one to marry them together. Hence, I was born- at the time, the sole other in a world of only mephinifinite. 'Twink' was simply a precursor; a sign that you 'belonged', so to speak... later, when there were more of us, we simply used it to differentiate between alternate selves.

I suppose, in that sense, I'm not really a twink; in the true sense of the word.

It is simply a title- and one that I am trapped with for the rest of my life.
