Chaise Lounge Mod by Twinsimming 😴
I created this mod to work with my converted chaise lounge pieces and originally released it as my first script mod back in 2021.
This new version of the mod now allows for translations to other languages and easier updating.
This is a script mod that can be placed in your Packages folder. It was built and tested on 1.69 but should work fine on 1.67.
Requirements
This mod requires one of the sectional sets I converted from The Sims 4: Dream Home Decorator to function:
A Couch Evolved Sectional Set
Tough and Tufted Sectional Set
Chaise Lounge
Sims Teen and older can either "Nap" or "Relax" on chaise lounges, like my sim in the preview picture.
Conflicts & Known Issues
- This is a new object class so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.
- Teen sims sink into the chaise a little when using it.
Credits

Thank You
Thank you to everyone over at the TS3 Creators Cave discord, and to patrycarro for bringing the translation issue to my attention!
If you like my work, please consider tipping me on Ko-fi 💙

Gooood, I love your mods! Seriously, you're accomplishing more for this franchise than EA has in all these years *sigh* hey, I've seen in some screenshots of your personal gameplay that you've revamped the items/ingredients available in the Grocery with stuff from ATS3. That's so cool! Any chance you could release it as a mod, if Sandy's cool with it? Thanks and keep it up!
Hey anon 👋
Some of the ingredients are personal conversions for my game only as Sandy doesn't allow public conversions of her ATS4 meshes. But the other custom ingredients I have are for future custom recipes 👀

Hello! Just popping in your inbox to say I love all of your conversions! I know it's a lot to ask, but I think it'd be neat if all of your sets had collection files as well. I hope you are having a nice day!
Thank you quirky-trait!
I've got around 80 conversion sets (wow that's more than I thought), so that would be a lot of collections lol. I might try to do some in the future, but it's not something I have time for at the moment.

Hey, I love your conversions, they bring so much life back to an older game, I was just wondering WCIF the wallcovering used in the preview pictures of your recent vintage living room sets? Many thanks!x
Thank you, anon!
The wallpaper is a conversion by @simsdeogloria and you can download it here. It's absolutely gorgeous 🤩

Hiiii. Back when I played TS4, I was OBSESSED with the Road To Fame mod and was wondering, do you think it would be possible for someone to make a mod similar to it for TS3? Obviously not using EVERY feature because I can see how there’d be limits on what you can add from it in TS3, even as someone that has no experience with making mods 🤣
Celebrity mods for TS3 aren’t at all common which kinda sucks lol
Hello anon!
I used the Road To Fame mod a bit when I was playing TS4 more regularly, and from what I remember there are some features that could be doable in TS3.
I have some celebrity-related ideas on my list of possible future mods, but nothing super concrete yet. Maybe going back and looking at Road to Fame will give me some more inspiration 🤔

Hello twin! Hope you are fine. I want to ask, have you thought about the possibility of creating a mod for selling things over the Internet, like in The Sims 4? This would be quite useful and convenient. Thanks in advance for your reply and have a nice week!
Ah, so something like Plopsy? That would be a cool idea!
For a while now I’ve been using the eShopping feature from Online Center by JunJayMdM to access the consignment store.
With the mod, I can buy and consign things on the computer as a stand-in for something like eBay. But having the process be a little more involved would be nice.
I can put it on my suggestions list, but if another modder wants to use the idea, feel free!

Hi I was wondering if there was any possibility for a conversion of the family fun stuff from TS2. Growing playing TS2 it was my favourite stuff and would love to be able to use some of the objects especially the themed kids bedroom sets in my TS3 game. But its is totally fine if you don't wish. I love all your conversions and mods for TS3. You are one of my favourite moders
Hi chibichibianna! I actually had to uninstall TS2 from my computer recently because I was running really low on storage space, so I won’t be able to do any more TS2 conversions until I can afford to upgrade :(
Luckily, it looks like @polrbearsims is taking conversion requests here 👀

Handful of Hobby Items Collection 🪀
The Sims 2 and The Sims 4 both have really nice variations of hobby items that we have in The Sims 3, so I decided to convert some and put them together in a hobby item collection!
The basketball hoop on the right in the first photo, the basketball court markings, and the freestanding ballet barre are from The Sims 2: FreeTime.
The basketball hoop on the left in the first photo is from The Sims 4: City Living, the piano and telescope are from The Sims 4 base game, the easel is from The Sims 4: Discover University, the training dummy is from The Sims 4: Strangerville, and the dance floor is from The Sims 4: Get Together.
The piano and one version of the dance floor require The Sims 3: Late Night and the training dummy requires The Sims 3: World Adventures to function.
The basketball hoops need the Rim Rockin’ Basketball Hoop, and the ballet barre and the other version of the dance floor need the Stiff As A Board, Light As A Feather Dance Collection from The Sims 3 Store to function.
The plastic chair in the first preview photo is a conversion by aisquaredchoco here, and the mural is a previous conversion of mine here.

Hello! I am a huge fan of your creations! it's changed my gameplay in so many ways! I was wondering if there was a way to create a mod for more romantic interactions?

Woven Whims Bedroom Set 🌄
I know, I know, another bedroom set. But the Woven Whims (lol) bedroom set that came with The Sims 4: Growing Together was so cute I couldn't resist! The top photo is a "dressed up" preview and the bottom photo shows the objects that are included in the download.
There are four pieces total: the bed (made up of a separated mattress, frame, and pillow), dresser (with slots for décor on top), mirror, and rug. I've already started converting another set of objects from Growing Together, so expect those next.
The painting in the top preview photo is from kandiraver-sims here, and the end table and tea set are previous conversions of mine here and here.
Storage -> Dressers
Woven Whims Cane Weave Dresser: four channels | §425 |
Comfort -> Beds
Woven Whims Cane Weave Double Bed Frame: two channels | §500 |
Woven Whims Cane Weave Double Mattress: four channels | §500 |

Décor -> Mirrors

Hi, thank you so much for your amazing mods. The game is so much more enhanced. Is there a chance you would please consider converting the debug Ice Cream Stall and the ferris wheel from TS4 High School Years, please?
Hello and thank you!
I've tried converting the ferris wheel previously, but some of the textures for it are missing and others throw errors in Sims4Studio when I try to export them o.O
Luckily, everything seems to be working fine for the ice cream stall, so I can definitely convert that!

Hi, love your work!! Small request! Would you be able to put preview pics labeled with the item in the .zip download? I don't play TS4 so trying to figure out which item is what based on googling the name can be very difficult at times. Thanks again for all your work!
Thanks! I don't include pictures of individual items for several reasons, but mainly because I tend to make my sets/collections on the larger side and that would be a lot of photos. But I'm trying to keep the objects listed in order of appearance from left to right in preview photos to make things a bit easier.

Hi, I was wanting to find out if you have posted your remodelled version of Matthew hamming's house? If not would you please be able to as I would like to use it in my game as it looks amazing.
Hi 👋 Unfortunately, I don't have that house on my computer anymore. It's on an external drive somewhere... but I don't know where. If I find it I'll try to upload it, but I can't make any promises. Sorry :(

Spray Tan by Twinsimming 🌅
This mod adds a new Spray Tan object to the grocery store.
This is an scripted object that can be placed in your Packages folder. It was built and tested on 1.69 but should work fine on 1.67.
Thank you to Lemurphs for the mod idea and @aroundthesims for allowing me to use her lovely mesh!
Requirements
This mod requires The Sims 3: Seasons and The Sims 3: Island Paradise to function.
Spray Tan
Spray Tan functions just like my custom Sunscreen object and has the same effect as the tanning booth from The Sims 3: Seasons.
Sims will switch into their swimwear and spray themselves down. When they're finished, they will switch back into their original outfit with a nice, even tan... most of the time.
It costs §20 at the grocery store and has 5 uses per container.

Tuning
All of the tunable values can be found on the mod download page under the header “Tuning”.
Conflicts & Known Issues
This is a new object so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.
