mother

this was made for mother's day last year i love xie lian's mom so much. the comic is set at a time somewhere after book 4 based on my headcanons that xie lian started replicating his mother's dishes as a way of keeping her memory alive. and that he couldn't really tolerate the taste of the dishes at first it's more of an acquired taste (even for himself). only hua cheng is insane enough to like it on the first try definitely
