So, an update on the sweater project that has been cursed by the gods--
Apparently while knitting a row I made four separate, large mistakes. Did I catch them right away? No. Did I catch them all at once? Also no. Did I have to stop knitting to ladder down and re-cable on four separate instances? Yes, yes I did.
AND, on top of that, there was a mistake in the pattern 🤠 I had to go back to ravelry and find the updated version
#I am so so sorry that apparently you are truly cursed on this sweater#but! you are still doing great and you will have a sweater at the end of all this

Finally finished and blocked these cute socks!
It was a fun experiment with color dominance in colorwork knitting and gave me a really thick, soft, cushiony fabric. They’re super comfy and almost more like slipper-socks.
Pattern: Call Them Cherry Blossoms by Tiina Kuu
Yarn: knitpicks palette and knitpicks stroll glimmer (discontinued)

Seven weeks of knitting. And an additional three weeks of crochet, sewing and embroidery.

Pattern is Isabelle by wiola Knits. A well written and surprisingly easy pattern, I enjoyed it!
Yarn is various Scandinavian wool and mohair (the white one) from my stash.

Extremely fortuitously for me, the yarn for my next project arrived today, so it's time to wind it up into cakes!

Moby sweater update!
Shes starting to look like a sweater! Skeins 2 and 3 complete!

I’m trying a new method of felting the ends of skeins together, and I am loving not having to weave in ends, but boy is it terrifying.

My first ever knitting project!

It is a very wonky, too big, too long, too loose sock.
And I kinda love it. (The trans colors do help with the love)
Now...to make the 2nd sock...Maybe it'll be less wonky!

My favorite thing about wool yarn is that there's just random pieces of dried grass in it sometimes
