Voices for the Twisteds

Oh yeah, I said I was going to make this post a bit ago, so here it is. I think we should get going with these. I tried to at least find voices that give me a similar feeling to the Wild Kratt character voices, but most are my personal picks. below the cut

Mateo and Charles I don't have one for them, but maybe one day I'll do something with Audacity and make it, but I think they would keep the altered version of the original voices.

Abigale Let's go with Honey Lemon from Big Hero 6 for her, sounds comforting till you find out what she's working on.

Kita Just Koki's old english VA, also was i the only one who got kind of tripped up with Koki's new VA, she's good but my brain melted a bit.

Jackson He would have this voice, mostly because i know he would have that type of voice to be clear and cool.

Zane Zane, I imagine having a voice similar to Funtime Freddy's voice from Five Nights at Freddy's sister location, which would also lend itself to a similar way of speaking when he's feeling cruel.

Diana Rouge the Bat, specifically from Sonic X, for her, as she is the type to flatter and speak like that to get what she wants.

Gaspard No one hunts like Gaspard, skins things like gaspard, it's Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, I think I'm funny with this one, but I also think a hunter's voice for a hunter fits.

Patricia She would have Pinkie Pie's voice from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic because it's funny and fitting for her. Considering she would also be as hyperactive as her.

Daniel Now wondering, why not Gaston for him, that's too obvious, so no, instead he will be given Reinhardt's voice from Overwatch, boisterous, loud all around strong man vibes.

Ray He would be Wheatly from Portal 2, posh sounding a bit condescending to others but unlike Wheatly he knows his limits

Adam A voice for commanding respect, but also calming and soothing to a point, so I went with Sojiro Sakura from Persona 5.

But yeah, these are the voices that are the ones I think of, well, mostly alternate ones from just the basics of them all have alternate versions of their original voices. if you guys actually have other voice claims for these guys you think would fit them.

I'm might make a post about voice claims, because while I imagine their voices to be the same as their non-twisted counterparts, but altered. But I could find and do stuff where they have their own voices, like, and this might expose me a bit, Zane would probably have Funtime Freddy's voice in a sense, but that's for another day when my head isn't killing me

Burnout and the relationships

Now to detail out how each of them feel about the others, okay maybe not all of them but the most important ones actually.

Mateo's situation is quite standard. JT is his closest friend, a fellow burnout. Then there's Charles, whom he looks out for, even without saying much to Charles during school time. somewhat dislikes Diana for being a bit nagging towards him.

Charles hates most everyone else, of course, but is oddly close to Patricia, shocking to everyone, he sometimes talks to Kita. avoids Zane like a plague.

Abigal, hangs out with Zane, likes to pull Mateo into experimenting she also is friends with Kita, due to them both being a tad messed up as they are.

Kita, bugs JT about stuff most of the time, hangs out with Diana after Theater club sometimes. She is like one of the two people who listen to Gaspard yap about his interest.

JT likes Mateo and is good friends with him; they hang out frequently. He also treats Charles like a little brother to some extent, as he spends a lot of time with Mateo, so Charles doesn't mind JT being around. Additionally, JT offers advice to Daniel on how to deal with the gym teacher.

Diana and Daniel, Diana is friends with Patricia. Daniel was also taken in by the circus, and pretty much like Diana's brother, which is why he listens to her more than anyone else. Diana is scared yet impressed by Zane. Diana helps some of the underclassmen with homework sometimes, if they pay her enough to do so.

Patricia and Ray, Patricia thinks she's friends with Ray, Ray tolerates and appreciates her on some days, and other days he wishes she didn't try to "help", Ray has an understanding with Charles, they don't talk, but yeah. Patricia likes listening to people talk; she also likes to bother Charles sometimes and has helped him with his makeup a few times. Ray avoids Zane.

Zane, out of everyone who just simply dislike to tolerate Gaspard, Zane hates Gaspard, even though Gaspard thinks their friends and Zane is obvious about it being the opposite. Zane has and does let Patricia stay over at his house during certain times when she doesn't want to go back to her house.

Gaspard, tolerated by some of the others at best, disliked at worst, hated by Zane, but doesn't think Zane really hates him. Said something about Charles, to Charles's face, and now avoids Charles. is thankful that Kita joined the photography club. thought Ray was a ghost for like a few weeks.

I think after this post i will probs go into more on the teachers and who of the burnouts hate that specific teacher the most out of everyone else.

Twisted Burnout Mateo would want to dress like WKKF Martin, but doesn't feel like he can at the current time or where he is at really.

Yeah, that and like Patricia would also be at that roller rink half the time. But also, this is funny because of the 20-ish year gap between the events of wkkf and Twisted Burnouts and it's funny to me.

Now, for this AU, and a thing I forgot to bring up with this AU is that some amount of it was influenced by the game of class of '09, so if you know that series well, I guess you can expect how some things will be like that, but not really in other cases.

In this alternate universe, the adults in the Burnouts have all, in some way, shape, or form, failed or disappointed them. Let's start with the parents Mateo and Charles's parents are severely disappointed in them and barely tolerate Charles's current way of acting and dressing, and don't really approve of Mateo's, well, anything. Abigal is forced to live with some relatives to go to school, why? She got expelled from the one she and Aviva were attending together, and any other school in that district or town. But Abigal doesn't care, even though said relative she's staying with doesn't like Abigal all that much. Patricia's parents barely acknowledge her at all; one is too busy doing some not-so-legal stuff, and the other is just out most of the time, but it's fine to her; she has friends to talk to after school. Diana's basically left her at the circus alone, and she was raised by the people there. She's thankful to the ringmaster and performers there, but doesn't want to be stuck there all her life, and the school doesn't give her much hope in relying on others but herself to help her future. Zane... Well, Zane is disliked by Zach's mom for being a secret love child that Zach's dad had with Zane's mom, to the point that, despite being rich, she purposely sent him to the school to make him suffer. btw, any parents I didn't mention basically means that person has actually good relationship with their parents or parental figure in their life. And those are just the parents, the faculty are worse in some way either through biased actions against some of them, JT and the gym teacher have a specific beef, many teachers that just irk charles on so many levels that aren't just charles's misanthropy, except one who does seem to genuinely care about the well-being of the students, gotta at least have someone, or this would be too bleak, actually. Well, a lot of the teachers have mostly given up on a lot of the students or don't care about what they do or are doing, while also doing terrible things themselves. Kita has blackmail on a few of them for good reasons. The principle is again not any better, as well, they let all this slide.

Twisted Villains another post about them

This post is just for like headcannons and also how each Twisted Villain connects to their respective Wild Kratt villain

Zane and Zach, oh boy, these two are a dozy, but gist of it is, Zane was brought in to basically be Zach's replacement friend after his and Aviva's falling out. Zane is more of the big brother to Zach then anything else really. Zane is also responsible for making sure Zach doesn't die from dumb things.

Diana and Donita, this one is a bit of headcanon that Donita came from a poor family and yeah, Diana and Donita worked at a circus to help pay stuff, Donita wasn't the best in the acts but was damn good with a needle and thread and soon started making some of the costumes Diana would wear. Diana and Donita still talk and gossip about things over wine from time to time.

Gaspard and Gaston, it's confirmed that even back then in that one time travel special, the Gourmands were hunter chefs, so I just imagine that it just continued, but Gaspard isn't that good of a cook, at least decent, but that wasn't his focus at all, Gourmand at least makes sure Gaspard actually feeds himself because man will not eat or eat very little for long periods.

Patricia and Paisley, now these two cannot be any more different in certain aspects. A headcanon I have is that Paisley was sickly growing, and a lot of her issues got worse in nature or places near them, but those died down. Meanwhile, Patricia was running through mud like it was normal, and rarely got sick. In their post-redemption stuff, Patricia extends past fireflies/lightning bugs and has really gone full in on all insects and small things, and she ropes Paisley into helping her with a bee sanctuary every so often. Paisley helps Patricia plant flowers with Patricia.

Ray and Rex, their families, are friends, so they mostly knew each other growing up, didn't think they'd encounter each other much till they both bumped into each other while at Pave Nature Inc.

Twisted Visages part 2: powers and drawbacks

Talking about this fun au again, this time we'll be getting into what powers these little monsters have, because of course, they would have some, and well, just as deadly as them.

Let's start with Jackson. What are his powers? Well, he primarily has one main ability, with a caveat. Like all dragons, he can breathe something special: plasma. In his true dragon form, this ability isn't a problem. However, when he's in his human form, it causes severe damage to his throat and neck, essentially shredding them from the inside out. leading him to be unable to speak or really swallow anything afterward till that heals, he really only uses this ability when he wants to really make an example of someone or a last resort when in human form.

Next up is Mateo. Imagine an electric eel, but supercharged—his shock can even resemble a small EMP. In his true form, Mateo has no trouble using this ability, but in his human form, he experiences dizziness and disorientation. Additionally, it temporarily damages the nerves throughout his body. In his human form, he just has the electro-sensory thing going on, passively gives a small headache in cities, still, but oh well.

and now onto Charles, I am on fire with these, and so is charles, yes it's pretty cliche to give charles fire powers but wait it's not just that, it's just out right temperature control, can fully freeze an area or set it ablaze if he wanted to, same thing as the previous two about the uses in form etc, when charles uses it in his human form he gets very very tired and lethargic to the point of he might have went into torpor. Still, he doesn't feel hot or cold in places with such extremes, so there's that.

Kita's power differs from that of others; it primarily relates to those she is hunting or luring into a trap rather than to her directly. In her true form, her ability leans more toward mind control, while in her human form, it is mostly based on suggestion. However, her powers aren't foolproof—those with strong willpower can resist her influence, especially in her human form.

Finally, Abigale, she doesn't really have any special powers; anything a crow can do, she just does it on a rather macro scale and more maliciously. But she has one odd ability, she floats, like if she's falling from a high place, she floats safely down, none of the others know why she has this, and they just chalk it up to something she's doing, but hiding it. She needs to not have anything remotely heavy on her if she floats through, or else she'll fall at the same rate as anyone else.

hellowwww i have some questions about Project Echo AU

1.- Did the clones act like human children?? like, were they babies and cried and did all that??

2.- Did Mateo and Charles knew they were clones? Did they know they were only meant to last 6 years?

3.- if Martin and Chris's parents did not approve of all this, Why did they let the clones near their children? (is there a in-universe reason or is this a "my story my rules" situation?)

4.- "clones to develop actual personalities" So they acted like robots before?

5.- "When Mateo turned four and was being babysat, something bad happened that led to Mateo and Charles being taken away" what was it?? i am so curious, what happened??? did he get a cut and they saw he had wires inside? green goo? whatever clones are made of? Did they mention something about the lab and had to dip before cps was called? what was it??

1.- They did and didn't at the same time, Charles never really cried once and only rarely reacted to things to a concerning degree, Mateo was extremely quiet and only really did things when told to, and barely knew what playing around was.

2.- Yes, and tragically, it was due to the people who made them keep talking about when these two would drop around them like they were objects, and well, not children.

3.- It's a mix of both here, in-universe the reason is guilt cuz well they were in on the project in it's infancy and uh can you guess who's DNA was voulenteered for the thing, and also the me answer is they're not that front and center in this AU for me so like they barely get a say.

4.- Basically, they really had no concept of what it is to be a child or human, due to being mostly raised around cold and clinical stuff with not much sense of what they want.

5.- Oh boy, you opened Pandora's box~, this one will be my favorite to answer, but not everyone's. TW for blood, vomit, and talk of child death, and unethical science, below the cut.

The Incident happened so fast but also so slow. What exactly happened was that the boys were watching Mateo and Charles again, but Mateo mentioned it was his birthday and like yeah pretty wild the "Parents" weren't out taking the now four year old out to have fun on a birthday, though Mateo doesn't mind as he doesn't even know the actual significance of a birthday. Well, you don't need to know what happened next, as Mateo blew out the candles, he suddenly looked very sick, like deathly ill, and he threw up. This wouldn't be too bad if it weren't blood he spewed out of his body in that moment. Yes, everyone else freaked out, yes, the "parents" showed up conveniently to just take Mateo and Charles away, giving half-hearted excuses. No, the cake wasn't spared from the blood. The people running the project were gonna let Mateo just die as Mateo's time was faster approaching than they thought, till someone suggested they splice DNA with them to possibly save Mateo, not out of guilt for a child but to save an asset they worked too hard on.

I might write a series of short stories about the Twisted Kratts, Twisted Villains, and certain other stuff. Some might be silly, some might have details I didn't talk about, but either way, the fun begins.

Project Echo AU

Just general TW for child experimentation. and anything else I may have forgotten to mention. Below the cut, I realized again I can really make whatever I want, and isn't that just beautiful, really, and I cannot be stopped.

Project Echo is focused on testing the cloning of humans and other organisms. They began their experiments with humans, resulting in many failures until they created a clone named Mateo. Through these trials, they learned that starting clones from early developmental stages would yield more stability. Three years later, they successfully created a new clone named Charles. Mateo and Charles were designed to last until they turned six years old, and Mateo was already halfway there. Before reaching that age, however, an experiment was proposed to determine whether the clones would develop similar emotional capabilities to human children of that age. As a result, the "parents" of Mateo and Charles contacted Martin and Chris's parents, who are aware of the situation but do not approve, but since this is my alternate universe, I can do whatever I want. So let’s see what happens next. Martin (who's like 15) and Chris (who's 13) found themselves tasked with caring for their “baby cousins” for a weekend, and surprisingly, they formed an immediate bond with the two of them. causing the two clones to develop actual personalities outside of what little was there, due to mostly being raised in a sterile lab setting.

But not all good things last forever. When Mateo turned four and was being babysat, something bad happened that led to Mateo and Charles being taken away somewhere by the "Parents" to "Recover." do say they will stay in contact, Still, they don't. 3 years later, a surprise call, while Martin was back from college for a bit, the "Parents" say that Mateo and Charles are fine and want to visit them.. What really happened in those three years was a series of DNA combination experiments done on Mateo and Charles. This also allowed the lab that was working on them to extend the two clones' lifespan, which required a few shots here and there.

I think i'll leave it at that, as I have other things and might make stuff about it later when I want too another day
