Hey guys! Sorry, for the unannounced break, Uni started for me and it is a LOT. During this, I started thinking about various ways to improve Willow's design to make a sort of 'final boss' if you will. Thus, Valerie was born! I love her design and just her in general. Let me know what y'all think!

Do Y’all Ever Wonder What Happened to Zach’s Season 1 Trench Coat/ Winter Wear?

Because we went from this glorious masterpiece:

Which totally gives us Zach lovers life, am I right?

To this:

Which I’m not saying is bad, I still think he looks great in the new winter look, but we literally went from him having a handsome, billionaire playboy vibe to looking like a vampire in a marshmallow suit.

We can probably chalk it up to the animators using the winter wear in the pilot episode and reusing it a couple episodes later, then they scraped it in later seasons because the new look is honestly more “Zach,” meaning (in my opinion) it’s got the same quirky vibes we get from him.

And it’s much warmer, which seem fitting for him because he’s probably a cold natured person….I mean he wears a turtleneck sweater all the time…the man’s gotta have some temperature issues because of that, right?

Or, they knew how it affected the Zach lovers, so they thought it would be best to get a more “tame” winter look for him. Because they can’t have us drooling too much over the bad guy…

Or, and this is my favorite option…my OC/ self insert Violet stole it and started wearing it after Zach loaned it to her when she first started working for him, which canonically would have taken place around the Falcon City episode, well after the last appearance of the beloved trench coat.

But this is just me guessing, I may be wrong…if y’all have any other ideas as to why this change occurred, please let me know!

Villain OC for Wild Kratts.

I wanted to create a villain who would be more challenging to handle for the characters in the show. I aimed to set him apart from the other villains, so I made him more serious in the sense that he isn't foolish or overly dramatic, unlike the other villains in the show. He takes his job very seriously, and because he works with the government, it's more difficult for the Wild Kratts to fight him. Although he is not much of a fighter, he has the full support of the government, including a security detail and other resources.

I envision him as a sort of final villain, a threat that will take more time to defend against. He's a scientist working for the government, conducting experiments on animals. His expertise ranges from finding cures for rare diseases in humans with the help of animals to devising ways to mutate those animals for the government's benefit.

Another reason I thought he would make an intriguing villain is that, as far as I know, the villains on the show commit crimes that are above seizing animals or trying to kill, eat, or trap protected animals. These actions can be crimes taken to court, and they can be arrested for them, although this isn't shown in the show. It always seemed to me that the Kratt brothers either work with or have good relationships with many governments in those countries. It would make sense, considering they fly a huge turtle through different countries without being shot down from the sky. I assume they have contracts and agreements with countries that allow them to do so.

What I'm trying to convey is that the power of this villain doesn't come from some fancy robot or trap; it comes from the fact that he has influential friends in high places, and he utilizes that to his advantage. For example, maybe the Wild Kratts have contracts with governments to fund their work since their turtle and inventions can't be cheap. He finds ways to cancel those contracts, effectively undermining the Wild Kratts. Perhaps he could even have the Wild Kratts arrested, after all, they're interfering with secret, private experiments of the government.

Meet Akeni! My strong herbalist _(:з」∠)_

She was considered a villain due to being an apprentice of one but quit after seeing him going too far with unethical medical research using animal parts. (She isn’t an animal fanatic like the bros but she respects most animals and hates wasting resources)

Growing herbs and researching medicinal plants are her thing so she dislikes animals who would ruin her work. Akeni do love snakes in particular and shows interest in carnivorous creatures.

She did plenty of business deals with the villains (mainly Donita and Gourmand for cosmetics and cooking ingredients) as an apprentice and will still do business after. There will be some warming up with the wk crew but not that close.

Totally inaccurate depiction of my Wild Kratts SI.

All those years I've been watching wild kratts and i never made an oc... Until now! I want her to have a unique dynamic to the team. Then it hit me they didn't have a security detail. So I came up with a story that my OC is hired as their guard. She often fights more serious threats like poachers and idiot tiktokers.

A fashionista, she tried to recycle and use as much sustainably sourced materials as she can instead of live animals. This makes her something of a good counter to Donita Donata. I made four outfits, two for casual, one for exploring and one for active mission/battle.
