I've been told that quitting this habit is one of the most difficult things to do. I've seen the impacts it made on financial and physical health. Yet I started up anyway. I enjoyed the act of smoking, but it never really did more for me than something to pass time. I've grown tired of the pestering my loved ones have presented due to this habit. Even so, the annoyance of others could never really make me want to stop something. It wasn't until a few days ago, when I woke up in the middle of the night, wheezing, struggling to breathe, slightly, but nonetheless. That is not something I should be experiencing nor do I want to experience such a sensation again. The picture you see here is my last cigarette. I plan to document my abandoning of this habit by sharing moments of difficulty. And if I never mention it again, well consider me part of the lucky few that kicked it without a struggle.

A Herd of Sheep
As a resident of the U.S. I’ve been able witness to most aspects of its educational system. It is through this experience that I can say and concur with many people, that this system is flawed. I have been lucky enough to succeed in the brain-washing program which is school here. While my equally, if not more, intelligent counterparts are doomed to fail because their skills are not suitable for the manner of evaluation executed by our school system. There is no learning to be done here. Any conventional teacher will not truly teach you much passed the dribble dictated by the curriculum. How do these pieces of information truly benefit us when they offer no real application passed the test they appear on? I can’t say I have the answer to a better form of teaching, but it is evident that the current one needs work. Once the teaching includes the progression of the thought process, we will be moving in the right direction. When the students are able to apply their knowledge and creativity in ways that reflect possible real life situations, there will be forward movement. Until there is an end to active thought molding performed by our teachers, we will be nothing more than a herd of sheep destined to graze in the limited pasture provided to us by those who created it.

Beginnings of Realization
I guess to begin writing is where it becomes difficult. What you're saying has to hold some shred of interest to whomever may read it. So we dwell as deep into the depths of our mind as we find inherently possible. That should not be our process. Inherent possibilities are dull. To focus on such would leave us in a state of perpetual immobility. That is not physical movement, but rather in terms of achievement. We need a manner of inner exploration that does not allow for the boundaries that currently exist to stop us. In doing so, movement is then possible. This phenomena is the break-through we so desperately strive for. It will provide a mass realization of the limited nature of all issues that baffle us throughout our lives.
