Joking aside, because dusk was the last light before a long darkness... I thought maybe Katara and Zuko sometime remembered the darkest days in their lives.. like when they were both losing their mothers (I knew about Ursa whereabouts from the comic, but I am living in my book 4 AU, okay :p), also the day when Ozai scarred his face...

I really want to see them bonding together 🥹✨ yet I draw them like this..sowry 😞 (I also want to draw them crying)

Zutara Week 2024- Day 1 Crest

Finally I can participate again!! Hopefully I can draw something daily..hahahha

This year prompt kinda abstract tho, but I tried my best! XD

What I had in mind when reading 'crest' actually was the crescent moon......and then 'house crest' from medieval knighthood..

And thus, drawing Zuko using the metal armory hehehe

I thought I can finished it quickly, but apparently I need almost 4 hours to finished it.... hopefully you all love it as much as I do~

Here's my drawing for day 2: Dusk!

I'm so glad for Zutara Week and the lovely stream of Zutara works that it brings, especially after the last couple weeks.

For this one, I originally drew a completely different idea and got all the way to the rendering stage before I accepted that it just wasn't working for me. I'm glad I allowed myself to explore new ideas cause I'm pretty happy with how this came out. Hope you all like it too! <3
