        ‘   we do if we want you to avoid working yourself into an early grave,   ’    haru,  kaname,  they were both more than considered family by her own at this point.   so they would come together to support them as they would hotaru,  or aoto,   or sachiko,   without question.  

       leaning down she slips a hand underneath unruly white bangs,   pressing her cool palm to his forehead,       ‘    hm,  you’re kinda feverish.   ’   standing up straight,   sachi nods,   turning on her heel   &   making her way towards the kitchen.      ‘  i’ll be back in a second.   don’t think about sneaking off,  now,  you’re in my clutches.    ’

he sighs.     he has lost the battle.     he was never a contender in the war.   the coolness from her touch fades into the heat , the fever running silently yet powerfully through out his body.   he got like this a lot.  feverish , a head cold , no appetite and no energy.    it’s called many things:  overworked / overstressed.     he drapes an arm over his face , covering his eyes.  one leg propped on the couch with his other leg propped so his foot was on the floor. 

he was tired.  he felt it with every breath.   his body simultaneously breaking down while attempting to build itself up.   he wish he could be submerged in the waves.  in the cold , hugging grip of the ocean.   but he also thinks about how , there’s another warmth seeping between his bones.  that buzzes under his skin.  and it comes in the names and forms of sachiko isaksen  and aoto isaksen. 

i need to pay them back.    he always ends up coming to those string of words tied in such particular phrase.  he squeezes his eyes shut.  tries to breathe through his stuffed nose as he hears faint , clattering noises in the kitchen.  the heat rises.

“ ooh , ”  he winces - the colors of a white lie , though soft and mild , still not common to her palette anymore. “ haven’t seen those colors in a while. how could i forget how much you uphold the values of truth and honesty ? ”

       ‘   exhausting,   ’       she’s on her phone in a matter of seconds,   calling aoto.    a few words are exchanged in swedish then she hangs up.     ‘  my brother is coming over to man the shop.   sit.  down.   ’

he opens his mouth to respond --- then snaps it shut.   he knows better now than to argue with her once it comes to this point.   he huffs , and then deflates , and sinks down onto the couch.    “  you don’t -- he doesn’t have to do that.  i just need a nap and then i’ll be fine.  ”

They hail from the planet Endor found in our delicious Milkly Way ! Paeris & Mare have just recently been sent to Earth to find a cure for a disease ravaging their planet.
