Pome answers Ugi-related Questions
@lapucellee's Question:
"My question is big, sorry… if ugigiugi had a Scarabia and Heartslaybu comic?? How many plagiarized comic sets did ugigiugi have?? I remember some and I don't believe I've seen Scarabia and heartslabyul comic only of the other comics but not complete sets of them because I remembered they all looked very familiar too me but I thought I thinking too much about it. How does someone have that much of plenty of free time to trace and plagiarize but not learn to draw?? Like she had around 2.2k?? Devienations before she deleted half of it….and Julia's behavior in her Egyptian Ibat netjeru and twst ik she's makes herself a Mary Sue but oh dear…"
I'll go ahead and answer these all as best as I can! Hit the Read below!
As far as I can see in my backlog? There are only individual pictures of Heartslabyul and Scarabia, respectively. Any other images I dug up that had Heartslabyul or Scarabia students present were part of group shots.
That being said, I don't claim to have everything Ugigiugi ever produced, just what people have submitted to me and what I did find when the initial call outs came out. If there is more stuff? We'd have to try and find it but it's much harder now since she has hidden a good chunk of her "art". Based on what I've observed and what people have told me, she has deleted her Twitter & Pinterest and locked/deleted her Pixiv account. According to people on DA if she has a Core Membership, she's likely using that to keep her art hidden/stored because of the gallery customization feature.
(As a side note: People who have DA accounts can still see some of the art she kept, but a lot of the controversial pieces, her Ibat Netjeru comics & art, and other "original items" are no longer visible. Many people assume that's why she keeps paying for that Core Membership, even though her reputation is pretty much tarnished and she has been essentially run off every platform.)
The truth is we don't know the totality of her art stealing. We just have numbers based on findings in art we do have and the sources we've been able to confirm.
If things look similar, it might be that again she does steal from a variety of artists but she also takes Twisted Wonderland assets so anything that looks "similar" is because of her "style" choice. Keep in mind she has been known to stitch many things from multiple art pieces to make a single drawing, creating what I've called "Franken-Art". She's also been exposed for reusing sources in multiple drawings so it's entirely possible you just spotted a repeating element. When it comes to her art theft, it is rampant yet pathetically predictable.

^ By Yosuga0101
Unfortunately, I can't say for certain if there are no Heartslabyul or Scarabia comics out there, nor could I give you an accurate count of how many plagiarized comic sets there were. When the callouts started, Ugigiugi panicked and tried to cover her tracks by hiding her "art". Part of the process many of us did was cross-reference items to ensure we had the correct source from which she had stolen. If we can verify that? It will get tallied and annotated in a folder of new findings as evidence.
Now as for how someone can have free time to trace versus learning to draw? Well, that depends on how much time she had in her RL to spend on all this and her choices. That can be broken down into a few theories people have but if you want a TLDR, here it is:
She wanted attention and validation but didn't have the skill to do it. To her it was easier to trace from others to get results vs skills.
Lack of accountability. She basically saw other people tracing and thought it was a valid excuse to do the same. (Tracing to study/improve skills is different then straight up tracing to steal).
Possible graphic designer background? This one is my personal theory due to how graphic designers are taught how to take "free" items online as assets during schooling. (This doesn't got for every GD school but its something I have observed from my own experience.)
I did have a deeper conversation about this with someone else. You can find that chain of conversion here if you want more in-depth details as to why I listed these things.
Now as for the 2nd half of this question, I again don't know much she had on her DeviantArt in total. By the time I got involved, I only saw her art gallery once on DeviantArt. I noticed it was at 1.5k pieces in March of 2023.
The above screenshot is a picture I took when I was trying to see how many TWST pieces she hid. I had originally seen 504 deviations and then it dropped to 482 (Ending at 310). I assume this is when she was doing damage control.
This is a screenshot I took this morning to verify that she went down from 1.5k to 545. In either case, because she was just tracing and not actually planning out her pieces, she was pretty much able to pump out a lot of traced artwork very fast. This discrepancy shows how much she probably stole. If you go on her profile now you'll most of her TWST art is either edited screenshots, fan writings, or other supplementary stuff like design sheets.
Now as for Ugi's behavior regarding her Ibat Netjeru and TWST stuff? That's a whole essay because this is gonna require a crash course in Mary Sue's/self-shipping (Yumeshipping) too.
As I said in an older post, I'm personally not one for self-shipping. It's not my cup of tea but I'm also not gonna tell people how they engage with their fandom spaces. (Mostly because I'm just here to vibe in my corner, I'm not a fandom policeman)
All that being said, to understand Ugigiugi's behavior, you have to understand why people create Mary Sues and participate in self-shipping. In my perspective, it falls into two main categories:
For fun
A type of parasocial comfort
Let's start with the first category. Mary Sues have a spectrum of different descriptions based on people's opinions. Our oldest known Mary Sue comes from the Star Trek Fandom. A Trekkie’s Tale (1973) Here's the link if you want to brush up on the origin.
If you personally asked me how I would describe a Mary Sue, I would describe them as an unbalanced character who has the narrative revolve around them, including the characters. Often the Mary-Sue is underdeveloped or developed to have disproportionate positive traits vs negative traits. They often steal the narrative or take over relationships the cast has because it's easier to self-insert an idealized character versus trying to learn to write how their character would actually interact with the cast. They can also be known to demote characters to tropes/strawmen or simps for the sake of centering their OC amongst the cast.
Most of the time it's for indulgence. Self-shipping is generally what Mary Sues and Selfshippers(Yumeshippers) do because they have "favs" they wanna draw or write about exclusively and while it can be for fun it also is a type of parasocial comfort.
Now compare that with Ugigiugi and what she's doing? She generally "tried" to have her own fun and fantasies play out. It's evident she was a fan of the Ennead comic and her desire to self-insert herself into it is what made her draw/write her Ibat Netjeru stories. The same thing can be said for Twisted Wonderland as well. She just self-inserted herself into the story to be the main focus of not just the story, but of the cast's lives in various degrees.

In Ibat Netjeru it seems she's the reincarnated daughter of the Egyptian god Anubis and is the love interest of Seth while also having other male characters hold affection for her to make her feel wanted by everyone. This is a power fantasy of her wanting to be a "designer of the gods". She wants her art to be desired by people and of course, get the attention and praise that comes with it. Low effort, high reward type of setup with the usual dramatic flare of the Egyptian gods in the background.
With Twisted Wonderland, it's no different. The main issue with her Mary Sue behavior is the information and story building makes no sense and is highly questionable in some areas when analyzed.
She's still using her adult age (older then Leona in fact), yet she goes to classes as a student? She hangs around Ace, Deuce, and the other first years who are canonically 16-years-old? What does a woman in her mid-20's have in common with teenagers? Not a lot I'd imagine. Flip the genders for a second. Would it be cool for a man in his mid-20's to be hanging around a bunch of high school girls? Talk about giving people the ick! There's also the fact she seems to flip-flop with how she chooses to represent their "friendships". Only a few notable ones she keeps boundaries with are her "not favs" Eveyrone else seems to get the flip-flop treatment between friends and romantic/intimate posing. She doesn't really consider where the boy's canon POV on boundaries, friendships, or how they want to present themselves.

....And even if her self-insert doesn't view the first years as potential "end-game" romantic partners, it seems to be the male gaze, affection, and attention she wants from them all to different levels of degree. Characters like Azul and Idia go to pieces around her, Jade and Floyd like to flirt with her (to the point of sexual harassment which gets treated as a punchline to a joke. Sourced here) and Leona…she's completely butchered his personality by portraying him as a pining simp who gets jealous every time she talks to Malleus, creating a frustrating love triangle given Leona's real personality. Hell, even the NPC students fawn over her!
But even when the characters aren't simping over her, she's still the center of their world. Or more accurately, she's strips them of their personalities to make herself the most important person in their lives or has written herself in places where other characters had relationships.
Examples:
She's Idia's fellow Otaku and gamer "healer" (he even goes so far as to call her Healer IRL) when in canon Idia plays with "CrimsonMuscle" (Lilia), wiping out that friendship entirely.
She inserted herself into Epel and Deuce's conversation on the beach in Chapter 5, casting herself as the one who helped, ruining Epel and Deuce's developing comradery.
She positions herself as Riddle's therapist (at least in one writing I saw).
At every turn she is there somewhere in these boys' (or even the teacher's) lives in a profound role or in ways that make no sense. She sells t-shirts she designed herself (the irony) in Sam's shop. Crewel and Vil both think she's stylish. Sebek calls her "Teacher" and asks her to be his drawing tutor. (Which is just her using Sebek as a springboard to "admire" her art skills)
Even the world bends to her power fantasy to the point it conflicts with world-building. She has a magipen and can fly a broom despite not being magical? It's implied she has some sort of connection to characters like Zeus and Maleficent. Hell, she was able to lift the Lightening Rod during Chapter 6's dungeon tower run and defeat at least one Titan (even tho Vil and the others struggled to lift or even control that thing).
The entire story of Twisted Wonderland warps to make her the most important person in EVERYONE'S lives.
You can see where it ultimately leads to her behavior as a Mary Sue/Selfshipper. Now here's the thing. Because of all these factors? Most people who are into Mary Sue/Selfshipping are just here for themselves. (Cause..that's the definition of what those things are in the fandom space) In practice that's usually "fine" because most of the time these types of people tend to stick within their own social circle or spaces and most people block and move on from them. Rarely do you see any fan-made Mary Sue run huge numbers in any fandom. The reason she got so much attention and ultimately got called out was because she was a serial tracer. Add the tracing, the Mary Sue behavior, and the self-shipping? It basically looks like someone is using other people's artwork to get their indulgence and gain popularity for it. So of course, nobody was happy about it. Who would be? I don't think anyone would have cared about her and her artwork if she was drawing on her own skills and sourcing her free resources. But again she did choose to actively trace other people's artwork. She's an adult. Not a pre-teen who just got online and exposed to the fandom spaces. So now she has to deal with the consequences of her digital footprint and reputation. Hopefully, this breakdown helped you understand a bit. I know this is a very long post but I wanted to ensure you got a lot of facts as well as screenshot proof and images to understand why Ugigiugi is what she is in this context. ~TwstedPomeTea

What do you think of the recent findings of ugigiugi? (I'm surprised of how she traced from a whole webtoon! Sirens Lament according to numba1hateer) and other many sources they have found as well as plaugemaskpatient.
What do I think of all that stuff?
Unfortunately, given the number of items people have found before the PDF, after it, and currently?
I am NOT surprised she copied from yet another existing comic. She's already done that with Ennead and other comics from the TWST fandom.
The biggest correlation I've noticed between Ugigiugi and the sources she traced is that she seemed to be a fan of those properties at some point. It's very evident she's probably read Sirens Lament and other webtoons and her "inspiration" is to trace from things she loves rather than study what made those comics popular/well-liked in the first place. To someone like Ugigiugi, media of all types is just an open buffet she can pick at her leisure then put on a plate and serve it as her own cooking. As long as she can get praise and attention for it, nothing else matters. Hence why she never fully addressed the art theft allegations and instead pushed back against the other grievances.
Heck, I've gone to look at older TWST fanart and sometimes I'll still find something she has traced from someone else. It sours my mood every time that happens.
I'm not surprised people continue to find things to this day. Like I said Ugigiugi was a serial tracer. And while we have no idea how much is out there since she hides things, the evidence keeps piling up.

What exactly is a serial tracer?
Basically, someone with a history of constantly tracing other people's artwork, claiming it as their own, to the point they've built a reputation for it. The tracer doesn't care about respecting another artist's boundaries or requests to not copy their art. They are selfish and do so because the attention and praise they get is more important than developing their own skill set.
The downside is tracing so much causes them to stagnate and or reproduce art that is inconsistent in quality. They become reliant on stealing from others. Serial tracing is not the same as practice tracing for learning/referencing or using observation skills to build a brand-new composition for an art piece. -TwstedPomeTea

1 year later: Ugigiugi review and thoughts
Hello Everyone.
It's finally been a year since the PDF was released. I decided to do a retrospective post on Ugigiugi, the history of her tracing, and share my personal thoughts now that some time has passed.
Feel free to read below!
First off, I wanted to publicly address the fact that I noticed the new "findings" in the tag. I have collected those for annotations.
As I've stated before in one of my older posts, this whole situation was the first time I'd seen or dealt with a serial tracer like Ugigiugi. Counting her last post day, she had been tracing for 5 years. Given all these things, I decided to reflect a bit on the Ugigiugi situation and things are a year later.
At that time it appeared that Ugigiugi was mostly a tracer/self-insert Mary-sue type of artist. Given her lack of crediting and stealing from others, it was pretty apparent that she was a lazy and passionless person masquerading as an artist and had zero shame in taking the efforts from others for herself.
While there is still plenty of art that has yet to be sourced, it can kinda assumed if Ugigiugi saw it, she stole it, regardless of the source. This is pretty evident when you look at the located sources which spanned from small-time fan artists and to published works, including online media or comics she's read in her own time. And let's not forget the audacity of her tracing over other people's original characters, and comics, or stealing from lgbtq+ ships.
Pharaoh’s Concubine by Misha/Youshi

Ennead by Mojito
Now, generally, it's alright to feel "inspired" by other people's fan art/comics/stories/etc. That's normal. And I certainly can't police what people will end up liking in their media.
But blatantly stealing others shows no passion and demonstrates you have very little respect for your fellow art peers. As I've said in my previous post on Tracing/Copying/Referencing while tracing is one way to "learn" how to draw art, it is not something you should heavily rely on as it can quickly become a crutch. If you're not pulling any useful information from it and just trace without a second thought, you will become dependent on it for everything and never truly learn how to draw without that crutch.
Every artist needs to study the fundamentals to learn how to break the rules. Every artist needs to learn how to use resources properly, be transparent if they borrow from others, and give credit where credit is due. Every artist has to gain confidence so they can create and self-motivate to improve.
Ugigiugi had NONE of these qualities because at the end of the day she did not care about being an artist.
She wanted attention and praise and did not care how she got it.
Looking back on the fallout and how Ugigiugi handled it when people tried to correct her or called her out, I can't consider her a creator in any capacity. Given that most of her pieces are in the genre of Mary-sue/self-inserting, this was really just her putting the spotlight on herself and that's the bottom line.
Now I'll be frank: I don't care for self-inserting. But that is a personal preference. However, I understand it is a thing people do within fandom spaces for fun, and if that's what you like? More power to you.
But if you have to steal from other artists to do that? From fellow fans or even from people who probably spent years developing their skills and putting art online to advertise their artwork or comics? You are just a leech, no different from the "AI artists" plugging prompts into generators to spit out terrible soulless art, scrapped from the honest efforts of thousands before them. And how can you call yourself an artist when you take from everyone else but having nothing to show for yourself?
Finally, for my last point, I'll share my thoughts on Ugigiugi's last known post and her "apology" before she deleted her Tumblr since not everyone got to see her response/rant when the callouts first began to circulate. I'm also leaving her DA post here for reference.
Someone had asked me if there was any actual proof Ugigiugi ever apologized anywhere before she nuked her social media. No, she never did apologize. You can even see in her Tumblr "apology" that she doesn't admit to what she did before going off on a rant. As of this year? She still has never apologized for all the tracing or stealing and for not crediting her free resources.
That being said a lot of what Ugi said at the end of her apologies always bugged me. I'll zoom in on these parts of her posts.
Here's the thing. You can have all the dreams in the world you like. Does creating art help you escape from the troubles of the real world? By all means that stuff is normal. To create art and express things is also fine.
But what isn't normal or acceptable Ugigiugi's lack of responsibility.
You can't build things with stuff that isn't yours to begin with. What story or world is there to share if you're just stealing the building blocks from others with no regard for people's works or boundaries? How can you create or inspire anyone when all you have to offer is a poorly reproduced copy. Can you even call it a hobby when you're not even going to put in the minimum effort? I don't think so.
Yes, Ugigiugi's can have issues with the doxing/political hubbub but at the end of it all, she is in a mess entirely of her own making. If she hadn't traced and just sourced things properly, I don't think people would have gone after her for all the stuff she had stolen (problematic media/opinions aside obviously). Taking accountability is always a sign of maturity.
And that is probably the biggest reason I can't give Ugiugigi a pass. She is not some misguided young artist just starting out. She is an adult. And not just any adult but one in the educational field too. It is appalling and little disturbing that an educator is engaging in such selfish behavior. And in her own words she knows these things and people have corrected her. But instead of taking accountability, she chooses to double down even harder and get mad at everyone for "bullying" her. She acts like a victim and makes excuses right up until the bitter end. And even now, despite a year of silence, I suspect her stance hasn't changed.
But this post is already growing quite long and rather then continue to beat this dead horse, I would rather finish this entry to talk about what people should avoid.
Even a year later after the PDF was published there's still stuff being sourced from her traced works and we have no idea if Ugiugigi is continuing to lurk or continuing to steal but keep it offline to avoid another public fallout.
Whatever the case may be I would like to leave a final thought both to encourage people to not do what she did and also address and of her lingering supporters who might stumble across this:
There are some out there who feel that what Ugiugigi did was not that bad since "everyone traces". But these people are wrong.
When you take something that doesn't belong to you, that is stealing. And when people discover you have been stealing they get upset for far more than just the theft. They get angry because that person is a LIAR. That is a betrayal of trust from an artist they believed was acting in good faith. If said artist can just rip off other people's work or resources without even so much as a token acknowledgement of where their inspiration came from, it calls their entire body of work into question.
And when people discover you have lack integrity, they no longer trust you. And once you lose that trust it can be impossible to gain that back. That is why they leave, block that artist, and refuse to engage further because if they can steal from others, what is to stop them from stealing from you?
Ugiugigi's downfall is ultimately from her own egotism, a misguided belief that she deserved praise while giving negative effort. And while there are still many like her out there, there is at least one less parasite to deal with.

Addressing the "No Harassment" rule people are still breaking.
Hello everyone it's been about 5 months since I last posted anything Ugigiugi-related. However, I was recently messaged over something I still have to address because some of yall ain't listening to what many of us have been saying since this Ugigiugi drama began. This will be a long post.
There has always been a rule of "No harassing" people about the Ugigiugi situation.
This rule has always extended to people who do not want to see/hear the drama in the Twst fandom but also to people who used to/currently follow Ugigiugi. Anyone who's followed my blog knows I've already had to talk about harassment/spamming before but it seems no matter what people keep breaking this rule.
I was recently messaged that one (former) follower of Ugigiugi was being harassed. This same person who messaged me is someone who has helped save/sent us some of Ugi's now hidden art and given us some art sources since the drama unfolded. They have already explained to me that they only follow Ugigiugi on DA now for the sake of keeping an eye on her activity and nothing else.
Now I'm aware there are several reasons people still follow Ugigiugi on DA. I know some people follow her by watching her profile. Others use tabs/HTML links to said profile and so on. Whatever reason doesn't matter people follow people for different reasons. That being said once again I am still seeing this type of harassment going on and it needs to be addressed. I was sent these screenshots and have permission to post these by the person being harassed.

So first off. This is STILL harassment. I'll keep saying it till the cows come home. Harassment of any type is against what a lot of us here have been saying to not do. Secondly, Let me correct people here on something. A watch doesn't equal a "boost" or supporting number on a profile. DeviantArt doesn't work the same way Tumblr or Twitter works when it comes to boosting a profile to the "popular" side of a Social media page. Engagement/activity/views on art pieces are what boost the algorithm. (More so you have to be breaking BIG NUMBERS to get your profile on the front page) That being said? Ugigiugi's numbers have dropped since she was exposed. She used to be pretty close to 600 watchers. She's now down to 315. So if anything she's lost half of her numbers, and with her no longer posting on DA she's lost traction as of this time. Thirdly, it's juvenile to be going after Ugigiugi's "watchers". At that point, you're just looking to start a witch hunt for people. Ironically, you're also going after the people who have been helping me and others since the drama unfolded. I need people here to stop going after people like this. You shouldn't be harassing anyone. It doesn't even matter if they're a watcher/or a fan of Ugigiugi or someone who might be helping keep an eye on her. We've stated time and time again, to not be harassing anyone. PERIOD! I'm going to go ahead and say this if anyone is getting harassed about the Ugigiugi stuff please just go ahead and block or report them. I'm getting very tired of having to repeat the rules because people are looking to use their "ugi hate" on someone. As for whoever this Cerulea--blue person? I don't know if they are a user here or if their under a different name on Tumblr but if you see this post? Kindly, stop. If you have so much energy to be doing something then go source Ugigiugi's traced art (there are still plenty of unsourced pieces) or something more productive than harassing people. You are literally not helping no one at all and you are just breaking the rules and boundaries a lot of people have been set about this drama. -TwstedPomeTea

Ah, so you also found her Egypt stuff as well I see.
Hope you don't mind another reblog and conversion but I can tact in on some more for these art pieces. I was sent these samples including some more from a few people/as well as a few I found.
For clarification! The only items inside the PDF are items that were matched with the tracing source. There are still a lot of art pieces without sources.
Anyway! The lowdown with her Egyptian stuff was not only was it just the Ennead she was tracing; but she also had a TON of things she pulled to draw her so-called Egyptian project. We've sourced Magia: The Labyrinth, Inuyasha, Twst, among the items she did trace but there were other things we couldn't pin down.
You can even see the "evolution" of her tracing if you look at how much her "Seth" character changed. Let me pull up some examples.

As you can see her "Seth" has been been inconsistent as much as her other pieces. The same would apply to everything else she drew. Given the time frame of when she started to nuke stuff? We assumed she deleted her Egypt project because if people started sniffing around those pieces, it would just be more damaging evidence and at that time everyone was focused on her Twst pieces. Though let's be real, most of her items are traced so even her deleting stuff still doesn't stop us from seeing what she was doing.
As for your points!
Personally? I'm not sure if she was homophobic or not. To me, she came off as a self-inserting/mary-sue type of fan. She was doing the same thing she did with Twst. Which was having a a male "lead" as her main dude but having a bunch of other guys simpin over her. (Pretty sure she also traced over couples for these art pieces)

(And don't get me started on how she has this weird "triangle" going on with "Seth" and "Anubis" who is supposedly her "father" figure. These next three pictures are too romantically coded to come off as a father protecting his daughter from the male lead.)

(For context: The plot of her Ibat Netjeru project was that "Ugi" was the reincarnation of Anubis's daughter, which is used to explain why the Egyptian gods are interested in her to be the one to "design" them for the modern era.) Still, you do bring up a fair point. Does her self-inserting equate to LGBT+ erasure? Well, it certainly isn't a good look for her. Especially considering all the stuff she self-inserted into. My opinion could also be wrong as I do know liking "yaoi" (Ugi's words not mine) doesn't equate to supporting LGBT+ and others even consider it a f*tishization of gay men. Where people stand on that varies from person to person, so I won't speak for anyone but myself here. Besides the rampant tracing, I could only speculate about this project. I had some thoughts about it like... Was this Egyptian project of hers a "white savior" complex? Is it also her f*tishizing/appropriating Egyptian stuff? Is it just like her tracing, Where all she did was steal concepts/art pieces to self-insert/mary-sue her way into a spotlight for herself? There's a lot to consider what her project was, but I only had a chance to skim it, so I can't be certain what else was there. At most? This is all pure speculation on my part. I know from one post she originally did have someone translating stuff for her for this project as well. But, I do not know if that person stopped because of her tracing or if they had another reason to not work with Ugi so the project stopped. Ugigiugi also did have a personal website to host her stuff. It was like she was going to publish things. It had her other projects on there as well. That website ultimately got deleted. I have 0 clue if any of the original artists talked to or threatened her legally or with copyright strikes. No one's gotten back to me on my side so I'm in the dark about that. At most? All I know is when the Twst fans were finding more sources or calling out certain art pieces she probably nuked everything to get away from accusations. But, at some point, she didn't bother finishing the wipe/hiding of the twst items. This part? I assume she just said "fuck it" and stopped there. Likely just upset and "done" with the drama. There's a lot of speculation, but generally, I still believe it comes down to her just trying to hide the fact she was tracing a lot and couldn't handle it all when stuff spiraled out of her control. ~TwtsedPomeTea

Went on google search, typed in 'Ugigiugi' just to analysis her tracing again, and accidental found her ancient Egyptian Mythos art. Apparently either Ugigugi or someone else relogged them on Pinterest and because of that they are now forever frozen there as a memory of a person who is no longer on the internet (and thank god for that).
I was happy to actually find these because I genuinely need to see what these looked like, as when looking at the tracing PDF file that @/Twistedpometea made and seeing a few select of the Egyptian mythos art there, I noticed that if you go to her Deviantart (the only social media she has left) the Ancient Egyptian stuff was the only thing that as completely 100% deleted. you can't find any of the art for it other than on google.
Moving on to an actual topic, while looking at this art wise, not only can you tell that a mass majority of this art is traces of Leona from Twisted wonderland, but the designs are straight up nearly stolen from the Webtoon Ennead (Another place she also traced from in a few of her works). Her Seth is literally a hybrid of the Ennead Seth and Leona from TWST mixed together to make some hybrid child.
I'm assuming she decided to make this "beautiful' decision so that she can easily trace fanart of both Leona and Seth instead of actually have to draw anything at all from scratch.
Anyway, thought this was interesting because my closing suspicion of her possible being homophobic keeps growing because this is apart of the several pieces of work were she replaced a male character in a MalexMale relationship (whether its fanart or official original art) with her female self insert to serve a heterosexual perspective. This time being a more sever case.
If no ones ever read 'Ennead' it is strictly considered a boy love story. Seth (god of war in Egyptian mythos) is seen having several romantic and sexual relationship with men. Specifically the god Horus. Its-- the story is a lot, but the main point is that this series doesn't have many hetro elements to it.
In Ugigugi's version she keeps Seth, gives him Leona's personality (kind of), and then replaces Horus with her Self insert Julia. The stories are nearly the same from what I can gather and all she did was erase the more graphic and horrid parts of the story to create a more fluffy 'gentle' perspective of the relationship. Almost in a way to spite the Ennead version of the story which has a much darker storyline to it.
Funniest part of this all? She's drawn Ennead fanart before so I genuinely do not get why she thought she was going to get away with this.

(LMAO love how in these pieces to not make it clear that she took heavy, and I mean HEAVY inspiration, from Ennead she just changed the art style. Just because the designs [which were probably also taken from other sources] are different doesn't mean that the tracing of the characters aren't obvious)
Now the only thing I want to know is why she mass deleted all of the Egyptian artwork she did and not the obviously traced Twisted Wonderland work that's still on her DeviantArt. is the author of Ennead more threatening with copyright striking? Was the universe she created actually co owned with another user and the other didn't want to participate anymore after realizing she was a tracer? Was she accused of something like racism ? Its odd for sure. if anyone knows comment or relog because I think its really strange.
(also in the process of making this I found more of her ancient Egyptian mythology art so will make another post. Apparently its being sold on those weird scam sites that sell things for expensive prices. Apparent they think many of this work is worth 24USD. )

Yup! This situation is interesting on a discussion level. Even if Ugigiugi isn't "active" anymore. Also, you are very correct she would have continued to trace. She was branching her tracing into her "other" projects. She had 3 other so-called "originals" in the works, but again; most of them were built off of tracing. Which would have put into question whether she was going to try and publish those pieces. Because then legally that would have been an even bigger mess. -TwstedPomeTea
I usually don't talk much about drama as you can see but the Ugigiugi tracing situation fascinates me.
How insecure in your art do you have to be that you not only trace both official art and fan design/art, but also trace bases, which you could just simple credit in the description, and go as far as to composite edit two images together to trace over both of them?
At this point I don't even know if I want to consider that lazy because composite editing two or more photos isn't a five second job. This is a person who just simply so insecure in their own work that they have no will to improve and its actual quite sad how many artist I've ran into like this. They would rather be a tracer and ride for the lie they made up then actually putting effort to at least credit the bases they used.
And at this point I want to know why because its 2024. Artist are not shamed in admitting to using models and bases in their work. It's a common practice especially for professional artist so their is legit no reason or excuse for this person to not even credit using official art of all things in her work. saying "use/reference/trace of [whatever official company your using] images". You also could simply just use 3D models so you don't have to credit anyone. If you can trace bases you can work with models. Your a Hobby fan artist for Christ sake people get it.

Hey OP. Hope you don't mind me adding to your post here but as someone who's gone through a lot of Ugi's artwork to make the PDF; I can toss you some ideas as to why she did what she did. I'll jot them down here for you.
1."Little Work"; Big Validation. The breakdown is self-explanatory. She likely never liked her actual skill level of art. It probably was one of the driving factors for her to steal rather than actually studying and improving her art. She took what she liked. And for it; she got a lot of notes and validation through her traced artworks. Based on the posts that still exist through reblogs here on Tumblr? She had numbers breaking between 100 to 500+ on notes. Even a few comics reached 1,000 to 5,000+. To this day, people are still reblogging her stuff because they just "see" something some artist made and do not care to dig deeper. Her DeviantArt stuff is kinda less than that (and I have 0 clue how her Twitter was.) But generally speaking, she got a lot of attention. To her? That probably validated herself in her own eyes. As such; she likely never wanted anyone to "know" she was using stuff from others because it would "ruin" her reputation. Especially; as she toted herself as an "artist". Hence, why she never credited anything. From there? She just got bolder taking things. At first, it was lesser-known artists to big artists/doujinshi/manhwa and even industry-level artists. This leads us to the next point. 2. Lack of Accountability. Based on what I've observed. She also finds excuses for herself by saying "other" people do it. That other people trace, draw stuff, or whatever. That they don't source, credit, etc. And while this has always been an ongoing issue since the ye old internet days. That's not a valid excuse. It never is. Because it just twists around what's considered "okay" to do with tracing. Generally, if you're in the art/fanart community you're supposed to learn the "rules" of online art posting as you go. (Through interactions/joining a community/asking/researching.) This means learning to credit sources and respecting an artist if they say you can't trace their stuff. It's about respect and empathy among art peers. She never fully acknowledged anything and focused on other "attacks" by her "haters". And while she says she "apologized" she never did. She was just dodging the actual accusations. Based on her last post? It just showed she didn't care about the core issues. Which were the blatant tracing and lack of crediting. If she did care, she'd have taken her traced art down, credited the art pieces that did use free resources with credit, and apologized. But she just basically "ran off" and then do that. 3. Possible Graphic Designer background? This one is a personal theory of mine, but I'll share it. If Ugigiugi did have some form of art schooling. I had considered she took some art lessons, including Graphic Design lessons. I bring this up because of how they teach you graphic design in schools. The general ideas you learn in graphic design are how to do stuff and how "fast" you can do it. The Industry is "Go-go-go". They often teach people to use the "free" resources they can find online for their lessons. Often this means not crediting things and just pulling stuff from the web. (While this does not encompass every graphic designer or school; I am speaking from experiences I had myself.) If she had this background, this might also explain why she didn't care what she took. To her, it was just another thing to use to make the "art" that was taught to her. Again, it's not a valid excuse. It's just a theory at most.

Resources and Tips for Sourcing Traces
Hey all! I decided to share the tools and some tips to image reverse search/sourcing for those who still want to search for things. Please note; that you need to be mindful of how you conduct searches. (I say this as Ugigiugi has obviously traced some explicit stuff from Adult artists with mature themes). Without further or do; here are the resources we have collected from other people who helped make the PDF.
Reverse Image Search Engines: Yandex - Search engine, This may lead to copycat Pinterest websites. Bing -This search engine does have AI integrated. This one does pull up results from Ugigiugi. (We assume this was because of the DeviantArt AI scrapping that happened in 2022 and obviously her stuff would have been picked up by then) Google -Image reverse search is generally used, however, it will often link back to images found commonly, but it's not a guarantee on the sources. The general rule people agreed on is to use different search engines to narrow results down on an image and compare and contrast what you find. Especially if it's an unnamed art piece. If you go through Pinterest be mindful that people repost there without sources/broken links. Do research to make sure you can narrow down things You may need to also check the names in the broken links to find usernames in the URL bar to research further on. Another tip I can add is if you're going to look for tracing consider if things were created on anime/pose bases. Were those bases made by someone? Look them up. Check watermarks and such. You'll need to consider ship names/tags as well in English or other languages to help find stuff. People found out where Ugi was traced from certain ships this way on Twitter/Pixiv. The same goes for the bases she used as well. The only other tip I can personally offer that helps identify tracing is to consider how lazy Ugigiugi was with her tracing. Here are some recent examples I found. Artist: 田 | AquCer123 @ https://twitter.com/aqucer123/status/1410931151506599946

Artist: AmaDenchArt @ https://www.deviantart.com/amadenchart/art/Timeless-Jago-and-Adri-a-730419403
Most of the time Ugigiugi is a very lazy tracer, hence why people have been able to find a lot of things she traced. A few artists have redlined her art pieces an used those to help narrow down sources hence the submissions we got for the PDF as well as corrections. Take all this into consideration if you plan to look up specific pieces. There really isn't much more to it. If you continue to search take these tools into consideration. Research your sources and make sure to compare and contrast. That's all I got, but if people find this information useful I'm happy to help. -TwstedPomeTea

Pome Check-in and Updates
Hello folks. This is a minor update since I've had messages sent to me wondering where I went off. First,I do extend an apology to folks who thought I was ignoring them and such. I just had a lot on my end. Given things in RL stuff got busy. I also had a major burnout from the PDF itself.
Still, I did want to say a good job to the people who have been finding more traced stuff from Ugigiugi. As expected, there is still stuff out there to be sourced. I also appreciate folks still sending me stuff and names or just posting the materials online with side-by-side comparisons. In any case; while I am making notes about archiving stuff; I know some people wondered if I would be updating the PDF in any capacity. I'll just go ahead and say given the amount inside this PDF? No. If tried to add more inside it runs the risk of getting too big to host it. (I'm avoiding Google Docs due to its AI drama). The PDF did hit its initial goal, which was to name at least 100 sources that Ugigiugi copied from. (Though again there is probably more out there) And while I am not updating that PDF that doesn't mean I won't take note of other people's findings and add note annotations in case something else happens down the line. That being said if people want to continue to identify tracings and such by all means keep doing it if you like, just don't burn yourselves out obviously. I'll make another post with some sources and notes to help. But otherwise, though, this is my update in general and I just plan to enjoy things passively. -TwstedPomeTea

Welp. Let me help source stuff as I know Pintrest isn't really too reliable for sources. That first one?

I checked the trace sourcing of the Pinterest links. A person from one of those links that was connected to a wattpad sourced this from a Twitter user named forestn_k. I also found a link to their Twitter (via yandex search engine) but it's a deleted account sadly. The second one?

This one belongs to this artist すーず | suzu (https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/80769086). There's a link so you can get a closer view of their designs. In any case, that's not surprising that Ugigiugi would snatch designs others made. We saw she snatched and altered a design by RiaRiiRii.

She traced the outfit but left out the shoes and just traced the in game dorm uniform of heartslabyul, more specifically, caters. Look closely on the red vest, you can see their shading is the same, that's because she just cut that part of the uniform and slapped it on her "outfit". She can't even design her own clothing. That's not really surprising.
Unfortunately, I found the outfit on Pinterest with no link to the og artist.

Traced bits of the outfit and modified it. She did not credit the og artist for the design. Honestly why do I expect her to do something good, I should stop, the bar is fucking low already, I don't want it descending to hell.
same as the first post, I unfortunately found the art with no credit.

Traced from this stock image. You can tell she traced from it cause If you look closely at the elbows, they look the same and the way the wrist is bent a little. If you rotate the stock image and make it transparent and then put it over the traced art, the hand on her hip is similar. Look at the hand at the top, the thumb finger is placed wrong and I know for a fact that it can't bend that way at all.

Ugigiugi Trace-source List PDF
Hello everyone!
It's been a while since my last update but I'm finally back with a very big announcement:
A fully organized PDF compilation of Ugigiugi’s traced art that includes cross-references and an index of original sources and artists. Ugigiugi PDF Link (Read the full disclaimer before continuing through the PDF. Be mindful of the contents here as some images are suggestive due to the nature of Ugigiugi's artwork traces. Caution is advised especially in the later sections of the document. )
As you may remember we tallied over 100 named sources from Ugigiugi’s traced art not so long ago. It took half a year to track down these sources through reverse image searches (on multiple search engines), cross-referencing from fanart from Pinterest, backtracking links, and combing through tags. As such we have updated sources and added some corrections here and there. Please keep this in mind as you view the PDF and make note of the updated list in the file. (We have also updated our other list on the other post to reflect the updates.)
This has been a long, labor intensive endeavor, both in gathering these images and putting them all together into PDF but we felt it was important to consolidate this information so everyone can reference Ugigiugi’s tracing history.
I'd like to take this time once again to thank everyone who DM’D me or posted their own findings on Tumblr. Your help was invaluable in making this master document a reality.
Please note that even with this, we still do not have ALL the sources of her art and there is no way of knowing how much Ugigiugi has copied during the course of her time online. However, what we do have is substantial.
While certain artists on this list may no longer be active, we felt it was our obligation to give proper credit to the artists Ugigiugi has stolen from.
As always, I must remind everyone my posts and especially this PDF are not to be used as a means of harassment of Ugigiugi, her followers, or supporters. This is purely for archival use ONLY!
Thank you all for your time, effort, and continued patience.

Tracing-Source Updates! 100 found!!!
Hello everyone! I wanted to give you another update! The list has officially reached about 100 named trace sources from Ugigiugi's art. The list has been updated! It's been a long 6 months since Ugigiugi was called out for her tracing. We've only found what we could with image reverse searches, cross-referencing from fanart from Pinterest, links, and generally searching through tags. But we have officially hit a pretty big goal in this investigation. Just to remind you all this is not all of the sources!!! The current numbers are due to the sources people have found and brought together for the investigation. (Again, I thank everyone who DM'D me or posted on Tumblr with your findings.) Now, we cannot say how much Ugigiugi has copied in total. She deleted/locked/hid things away when the callouts began. But we know if she hadn't been called out, it's more than likely she would have continued to steal/trace. We know that most things are past 100, as we also have unsourced images in our files that have led to no artists being found. (This, sadly is expected given all things.)
Ugigiugi has stolen multiple art pieces from artists, so individual traced images/comics are a higher number. After careful consideration and the fact we hit such a high threshold; I am considering the next step on how to post all these findings. Generally, I am considering creating a post with a PDF that will host the traced images and Ugigiugi's art as a cross-reference while sourcing the original artists. With that in mind, I cannot say how long the upcoming post might take to make, as this requires a lot more organization of artwork. We will try to see how well we can fit art pieces/comics together. Especially considering how many were taken and then put together for Ugigiugi's artwork. As a reminder: With these findings and updates, these posts aren’t meant to be used for harassment of Ugigiugi or anyone else who still follows her. This post is for archival use and an update for the next post. ~TwstedPomeTea

Archival Updates: Tracing, context and misrepresentation.
Hello again folks! It's been a while since my last post but I'm back to give an update on cataloging for the sources of Ugigiugi's tracing, and would like to discuss something else that has come to light during this search. I’m going to be a bit more serious for this topic as there’s been an alarming number of discoveries involved. First off, content warning: This post will contain discussions on the subject of Sexual Harassment as I’ll be discussing one of Ugigiugi’s comics and how her tracing of other's artwork changes the context of the original images.
If this topic disturbs or makes you uncomfortable, I would recommend skipping this post entirely. However, if you can handle the discussion and the image samples, please feel free to click below.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The most obvious issue with Ugigiugi is her massive tracing history. This is well documented. As of now we have a total of 85 found sources from her tracings alone. I’m certain there is more out there waiting to be discovered and confirmed. But, I felt with number of sourced images being so high and continuing to climb, it was enough to warrant this update. The amount of tracing uncovered so far is pretty alarming and given how many different types of media/fanart/comics/etc have been sourced, she's clearly been at this for YEARS. I’ve personally never dealt with this big of a serial art tracer before in a fandom space and there's an important discussion that needs to be had on why this behavior is so damaging beyond the obvious. I’ve already gone over the differences between tracing, copying and referencing in my last big post. We know based on the current art pieces already in public that Ugigiugi had no issues with taking stuff without permission nor crediting (aside from Alchemivich's resource blog of in-game sprites) and just blatantly putting her self-insert into artwork. However there’s another trend that I've uncovered with her tracing method: Changing the context and tone of the original art in order for Ugigiugi to “create” her “fanworks”. Most of the time she tends to draw her self-insert in various scenarios but there are other things she does. Let’s go over her “Play With Us” comic featuring herself and the tweels, Jade and Floyd. Like so many other fanart pieces, Ugigiugi once again has traced and copied to create her comic. Here are the sources we have so far in a side by side comparison. I apologize for the quality of some of the images. These were sent in by various people.
Artists: (All have been added to the Artist source list!) Picture 1 - yyy1205u, Picture 2 - 71 Picture 3 - びた / bi__ta Picture 4 - mekoorou For those who need a translation, the first image is a simple Floyd/Prefect fanart. The second image is from a three image panel where the twins are teasing Azul by hanging on Yuu and wondering if Azul will do anything. The third is a comic panel from a page that's Azul/Yuu with the twins coming in and standing by Azul while he’s talking with Yuu and playfully disrupting him. The last one is a Yuu image reference with Ace and Deuce also present. None of the original art pieces we have sourced had any connotations of “raunchy humor” if you can even call it that. Ugigiugi traced panels/images and stitched them together to make her "fraken-comic", completely changing the tone of innocent fanart and comics to make her own, ruining the original subject matter. I'll be frank: People can choose to interpret characters however they wish in fanwork, including exploring problematic subjects. This is why fandom space is separated from canon space. In the end, it's personal preference if you choose to engage with that sort of content or not. That being said there is something very wrong with Ugi twisting other’s people artwork to serve her needs for this comic. When this comic was originally called out for it's subject matter, Ugigiugi had stated it was all “teasing”. Some will agree. Others will disagree. That's not the issue here. The real issue is that the original fanworks she stole/copied from have been misinterpreted and bastardized to make her own poor crafted "comic". And the blatant tracing isn't the only red flag. While I understand that the TWST cast are marketed as the “Villain inspired or Bad boy” themed with their own personalities and flaws, there is a fine line between knowing what is “mature” teasing/flirting vs what obviously has the undertones of sexual harassment. Here are just a few samples of the comic that we will show with the undertones.
The language used and the images she drew give this comic a very jarring case of tonal whiplash given how the comic started out so innocently with the twins simply walking with her. She even has her self-insert telling the twins to stop and get their hands off her, and Floyd clearly has his hands around her neck, choking her.
There’s nothing really “teasing” if it’s obvious one side of the party is uncomfortable but then there’s a complete 180 with her self-insert's reaction that makes zero sense given how she responded a few panels ago.
It's one thing if a fan wants to explore darker and more mature subject matter with characters or cast them in roles of sexual harassers/ Yanderes/serial killers/etc. However, it’s another thing to take another artist's work and repurpose in a way that was not intended to be. That is beyond insulting. In fact, it's down right disgusting. This "comic" was done in incredibly poor taste. It wasn’t even tagged properly. (No “S-Harrasment” warning tag, only a basic “read more” warning). Ugigiugi took light hearted fanart pieces and jumbled them up to create this total mess therefore ruining the actual context of the source materials she stole. There’s also one more thing I do have to address with this discovery!
We don’t have all the sources for every panel in this comic, and I can’t say whether or not certain panels were taken from anything 18+, Yandere comics or other “mature” media. However, I can say that with Ugigiugi having copied and mixed in different pieces to create this "franken-comic", she’s chosen to use other people's art to present one story while the original art tell another. That adds further insult to the injury of having art stolen. Because when the context is changed, it's harder to know which tags or categories we should be looking through to find the actual sources. She has no respect for the integrity of the original art nor respects the original creator's time, effort, or storytelling within each art piece she’s taken. I’m uncertain how much else will be discovered given the amount of things we’ve found so far, but should we eventually run out of leads and can no longer find anything else; I’ll work with a few others and consider creating a tally of all the art pieces we have for an archive. We'll likely make some type of master post with all sources and side by side comparisons as proof along with the number tally. But those will have to wait until we can no longer find anything else as we’d like to find as many artists as we can for that post. So please bear in mind that! In the meantime, I would like to stress again that while I am immensely critical and dislike Ugigiugi, I’m once going to remind everyone that my findings aren’t meant to be used for harassment of Ugigiugi or anyone else who still followers her. This is merely an update for archival purposes and adding another bullet point to the discussion of why tracing is bad in the long run, especially when it comes to changing the context and tone of an art piece or a comic. ~TwstedPomeTea
Harassment talk.
Hey all. It’s come to my attention that someone recently made a DeviantArt account that's been spamming Ugi’s DA submissions. Now, I’m aware on DeviantArt there’s been a number of similar accounts who have been spam reposting or linking the Ugi callout posts from tumblr onto her remaining submissions despite most of those posts explicitly saying to NOT HARASS. However it seems people think spamming what is now essentially an inactive DA account is doing “something”. I’m going to be blunt here: Spamming isn’t helping. A number most of those accounts in fact are doing stuff most of us don’t approve of. And as I said before, most of those call out posts warn to not harass/spam Ugi or her followers. If people have been paying attention to my pinned rules and my posts you already know my thoughts on harassment. I am still critical of how Ugigiugi’s chose to trace and steal from other artists. I am also critical of her apologies. But in the grand scheme of things? This type of harassment doesn’t really do anything. She’s already been called out in the community. People either have dropped her or have expressed their own opinions and have moved on entirely from this situation. And some of us, like myself, are using this time to find as many sources as possible and archive what we find because we believe in finding the OG artists to give them support for their work and give them the proper credit due. Either way, I’m going to repeat yet again. I don’t approve of all this campaign of harassment/spamming. I don’t know who is doing this all but I will say there’s a certain irony in these accounts spamming posts from people who all say to not harass. Whomever you are, we do not need, nor want, your type of "support." The same applies to any other forms of spamming like anon messages or hyperlinking stuff. EDIT: DOXXING IS ALSO INCLUDED! -TwstPomeTea.
Ugigiugi Trace-Source List
Hello everyone
I've decided to go ahead and release the text list of artists and other media that Ugigiugi has traced from.
Please note that this is not a complete list.
These are the only sources people have found online and made comparisons on. These are also submissions people have DM'd me and things I investigated personally. Some items have have also been forward to me by others.
This list is subject to possible updates if people send in more proof! (traced image/source + name of the artist). Names and sources are subject to corrections if errors are discovered. (If there is an error, please let me know!)
Once again, I will remind everyone that this post is not to be used for harassment of Ugigiugi or any of her supporters. This list is for archival purposes ONLY.
With that said, the list is below for public viewing.
The following names were sourced from the following websites. Deviant Art Twitter Pixiv
Please bare in mind some of these artists have either deleted their social media or locked their accounts. Art has been source through websites such as Pintrest and through the links.
Also! Please keep in mind Ugigiugi has traced multiple times from certain artists as well. This listing will not include a tally of how many individual art pieces but rather a tally of the artists themselves that have been identified.
