You voicing your opinion isn’t the problem, the problem is that your opinion makes you sound entitled to the bands time and energy. You aren’t being held hostage, you can stop consuming their media at any time. You can be a casual fan and I promise you’re going be a lot happier for it.

If you have problems that’s fine. Explain it in a way that doesn’t make you sound like you’re whining.

I don’t know how to explain it to you in a way that is going to get across to you because it seems like you don’t want to understand. You can air your grievances all day long, that’s fine. We all do it, but you sound like a petulant child that isn’t getting exactly what they want, when/how they want it.

I just think it’s funny she’s talking shit about other blogs but her whole post is talking about how “we are talking shit about the band”. Like sorry? real. you could tell me any of the photos or the 10 sec vid was from a year ago and i wouldn’t even question it. it’s the same thing over and over again. hopefully after the release of the ost they switch up the visuals for the live performances and the bands aesthetic all together cause it feels repetitive and just overdone at this point.

Indeed. Don’t get me wrong, I love his aesthetic and I think it fits the band and this era, but I really hope they switch it up for the next one, cause as much as I love seeing the boys in all red and drained in sweat, I’d love to see something different as well. And I know Bryan can do it, because we’ve seen his nature aesthetics, so red/B&W/dark isn’t his only ammo.

I am literally not forcing anyone to watch what I post or interact with it. I stated my opinion two times (literally one about the Dallas show and one about Bryan (which, y’all probably feel the same, cause I’ve seen enough people on my feed complaining about the aesthetic of the photos)) and y’all are coming at me with “you’re turning into a drama blog”.

couldn’t agree more! i much prefer supporting artist who make a live show an experience, who value fan interactions, and who they themselves look like they are equally enjoying the show. as you said, it’s just personal preference. and i guess i’m spoiled since all the other bands and artist that i’m a fan of have always shown their appreciation for fans and engaged with their fandom in their own unique ways.

It is a personal preference indeed, but such an experience makes a show that much more personal and at the end of the day, to sell your art, you need to be able to connect to people. Otherwise we would all just be listening to AI generated albums and artists and call it a fucking day, since “they don’t owe us shit”.

But hey, that’s another conversation a lot of y’all are not ready to have. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm not defending his actions at all. In fact I just found out about the situation from you but I will also say that some venues or cities have limits on the time that a band can perform. Like there's quiet hours I guess after a certain hour and so bands can't continue songs if they're scheduled for a certain time frame.

Maybe at least make a post or whatever after the fact on Twitter or Instagram addressing the situation so it's not outright ignored but still just completely ignoring the situation is pretty shitty....

And that is what I also said in my initial post about the situation. Some venues have a strict policy about show hours, which is fine.

But address the issue afterwards, yes, agreed.

Genuine question cause I saw your post. What happened at the BO show? Did someone recently get hurt or something?

Someone needed medical assistance and BO stopped the show mid IDWT$ then came back, didn’t finish the song, didn’t further address the situation and just continued with the show and that’s what’s gotten people (and me, partially) riled up.

I totally agree about N needing to learn how to be a better frontman. Like bffr, you have been around and playing shows for years and you still act like this? If you ask me I think he just doesn’t give a shit. He just wants to get through the show, burn out, and collect his money.

If I’m being honest, I’m really liking BO less and less. I honestly believe that they don’t care about their fans at all. We know they see all the things that get said about them on sm, yet they do absolutely nothing to show any respect or appreciation for the fans. At this point the only way they could distance themselves farther would be to just all together disappear. It went from disappointing to pathetic atp.

As people say, at the end of the day, they’re musicians and their job is to make music and provide it to us. Same goes for tour and etc. Nothing more, nothing less.

Everything else are personal preferences. My personal preferences are artists like Halsey, even I See Stars (that usually engage a lot with their fans during tour, outside of venues etc). And overall artists that make the fan experience a little more personal.

And I also understand that none of those people owe us that, so don’t be coming for me, please.

I was at the show last night and I think it was handled appropriately. The only thing I didn’t like was that they skipped the rest of the song.

I’ve seen videos where Noah has stayed out and tried to mitigate the situation but fans up front just use that time to get his attention, making the whole situation more chaotic/difficult to resolve.

Last night, he called security, waited on side stage and the whole thing was resolved in less than 5 minutes. It wasn’t a huge ordeal.

I agree he could’ve acknowledged it maybe. But I think they’re trying to disrupt their shows less. People should know how to act at shows and venues have huge staff to deal with these things it’s not on the band.

I am not pointing the finger at one situation here, like I said, it’s been a couple of occasions where the guys have just chosen to not acknowledge certain aspects of the fandom and that is what bothers me at times.

I agree that people should know how to behave at shows, yes. Sadly, that’s not always the case.

It’s not about BO stopping shows because of medical emergencies or fights.

It’s not about them skipping songs because they had to stop a show.

It’s not even about walking off stage until security helps out those in need.

It’s about addressing the issue. Don’t be coming for me, because I have my reasons (which I will explain further) and my opinions.

They’re feeding into the whole “BO hates their fans” every single day, man. And them walking off the stage then coming back and not addressing the whole situation further proves my point. As a frontman, you need to learn how to speak in front of a crowd. I have seen so many other lead singers who have spoken out about moshing gone bad, people hurting themselves/each other during shows, fans being dehydrated or pushed around so much that they pass out DURING the time that said issue occurred and here’s Noah Sebastian stomping out as a little kid until someone comes to fix up the situation.

Yes, it’s not their job to do that, but it makes the experience that much more personal. It shows that you, as a frontman of one of the biggest bands in the scene currently, care about your fans’ wellbeing. Even coming back on and saying something like “Listen, guys, we’re gonna have to skip some songs because of venue rules/hour rules etc.” It doesn’t take much.

I’m not here to bitch about them being insensitive or neglecting, but they sure as hell know how to make a whole fandom feel like they don’t care about them as much. And my opinion is not based on one situation only, but that’s a whole another conversation that y’all are probably not ready to have.
