The Barlow family is a middle class and former military family. The military side comes from Ty’s father and all the men on the barlow side has served in the military except for Tyler and Ashley. The family is a close knit family but after a family tragedy, they are not as close. Justin (Ty’s father) owns a landscaping company and Catherine (Ty’s mother) is a florist in the area. Tyler has one brother (now deceased) and a sister.

⚓︎ Tyler Jacob Barlow was born and raised in Aurora Bay, CA along with the past generations in his family. His dad was former navy and owns his own landscaping company while his mom worked as a florist.

⚓︎ Before Tyler was born, they had another son; Jackson. Jackson and Tyler were crazy together and was a bunch of trouble. A few years later, they welcomed a girl to the family.

⚓︎ Growing up, Ty would play baseball. He wasn’t as good as his brother but he was working progress. While he loved his brother, he felt like he had to get to his level which was hard at first and had to prove to others.

⚓︎ Ty was a great kid. He stayed out of trouble and focused on school and family. He was going to join the Navy after graduating just like his older brother and father.

⚓︎ A few days after graduation, he left for bootcamp in Great Lakes, IL. A few weeks later he came home as he failed part of his health screening due to an undiagnosed health condition and was not able to join any of the military branches.

⚓︎ Ty suffered depression and felt like he let down his family by not going into the military. He started getting into trouble like street racing but his brother came back to town and helped him, the only person he felt that would understand Ty.

⚓︎ Tyler and Jackson worked with their father in landscaping and became the family business. A while later, his father made the brothers co-owners in hopes they would keep the family business going together for years.

⚓︎ When Tyler was 25, Jackson decided to buy a motorcycle and move to the East Coast so he could travel and get some new experiences. When he could, Tyler would visit from time to time.

⚓︎ Just recently (over a month ago), Ty got a call that his brother was in a motorcycle accident and didn’t make it. This crushed him. Ever since it happened, Tyler hasn’t been the same. He is starting to go back to his old ways and getting back into street racing and just getting in trouble in general. His father has already let him go on the job and threatened to remove him comepltely from the family business if he doesn’t get his act together. Tyler is just at a loss without his brother. Will he ever find his way back?
