How comfortable is she with the idea of death?
Tycil's feelings on death are complicated. With the Scourge Invasion, the horror of lying helpless, forced to watch the life drain from her husband’s eyes, then watching her son die, only to see him rise again, she cursed the Light, wondered why it hadn't taken her instead of pinning her in place to witness her world unravel into a waking nightmare.
Tycil hated death then. Hated it even as she longed for it.
She began chasing danger, seeking out every challenge she could find as a hunter. Not recklessly, never more than she could handle, but always toeing the line between survival and surrender. Every hunt became a gamble: kill it, or it kills me. And she was all right with either outcome.
Later, in the Twisting Nether, she wished for death again. The pain of her injuries was unbearable, made worse by whatever force had begun healing her, no mercy, no numbing balm, only agony. Whoever, or whatever, mended her did so without kindness. She didn’t even think about being trapped, not at first. The pain swallowed everything. Once she could move, once she could think again, she searched endlessly for a way out. Her journey wound through dreams and nightmares alike, all blurring together into something surreal and terrible.
She has wanted to die many times since she was shown the way out. Sometimes she reminds herself it is just a simple poison away. At first, it was the loneliness, just like being in the Nether, she felt hollowed out. Returning to Eversong was its own wound: the home she had built with her family now lay in ruin. She couldn’t bear it. So she would leave. But always, eventually, Tyce came back. And each return felt less painful, more necessary, until one day, she only left for work.
Still, there are moments, quiet, haunted moments, when the shadows shift in her periphery and she’s not sure what’s real. In those moments, she wonders if this life is still a punishment inflicted by the some ancient God that found her in the middle of nothing, and everything, questioning whether the void itself is denying her the life she once had.
Tycil would welcome death if it came.
But she can never quite bring herself to reach for it. Even when it she thinks it would be easier to simply stop being. (Thanks for the question @theconstructsworld )

TMIT:
Had she ever gone back to Outland?
She has, and she took a month out there to capture a warp stalker just like the one that took her. She thought about taming it and bringing it back with her, but she decided that was way too much like what happened to her and set it free instead. Thank you for the question @kharrisdawndancer

What was the naughtiest thing she got up to with her husband?
They were actually quite adventurous, after so long together adding a little spice was nice. Something that can keep the PG rating. Sometimes they would go to the city separate and she would flirt with another man, he would come in and have to 'win' her away from the stranger. They would never go home on those nights, as the inn was much better for a liaison for a one night stand. Thank you for the question @lilyofporcelain

Sinful or Sweet:
What is her most sinful regular indulgence? Why? How often?
Tycil, at the moment, doesn't have very many indulgences in general, but she keeps wine stocked in her home, along with some harder alcohols, just to enjoy some time relaxing. This poor character, I really need to do nice things for her one day. Thank you for the question @kharrisdawndancer

What's a lie she tells herself most often?
Tycil often tells herself that she can just go back to the way she was before being lost just by coming back and rebuilding her life. That is a fiction that is losing its hold more and more with how things unfolded with Vael and it hurt her deeply, fractured that little bit that lived with her throughout her time in the twisting nether. All she did when she was lost was wish for a way to go home and live her life as it was. Thanks to C part of that was answered, but she has changed, and so has the world, as much as she doesn't want it to be true. Thanks for the question (and the save) @theconstructsworld

What was the last thing that she dreamt about?
Almost all of her dreams are about the void and the time she spent in the nether. Either the essence of it that came back with her, or just being surrounded by it for so long, means that it is really easy for her slip back into it when she is in a dream state. When she first came back she thought that her dreams were reality and being back home was the dream. Thank you for the question @lilyofporcelain

TMIT: At what point does she consider someone a friend?
Before the Scourge invasion Tycil was a social butterfly, one of those people that had friends everywhere she went. The line "a stranger is just a friend you haven't met you" by Yeats fit her perfectly. After that the sadness clung to her, so she was quieter and struggled to find the enthusiasm for life in general that drew people to her. She didn't ostracize people, but she just wasn't the ray of sunshine she had been. I think, like with a lot of people, it will be finding a certain level of comfort in a person's company, a task that might be a lot harder than it used to be.

If you were to kiss one person right now, who would it be and why?
Right now would have to be Veilos if she had to choose. He has been very kind to her as she has struggled with her pull back into society by her brother and the feeling of being abandoned in it. It wouldn't be a passionate thing, but he definitely has earned a kiss on the cheek if she was the sort of person to do that.
Thank you for the question Anon Mention of @veilosdaigoa

Has she had any sinful thoughts lately?
She has. Though they are not a common thing, being around more people lately has registered a thought or two.

Is there a skill that you would like to improve upon? Can be combat, can be social, can be anything at all.
“Roofing, hands down I would like to improve that area of my house building process.” Tycil shakes her head with a deep sigh, “I have had so many problems with leaks whenever we do get rain. I think I catch all the places where I have made a mistake and along comes another. I love the work I am doing on my house, but that one thing is so problematic she hit is done poorly.”

[SOSS]: What comes to mind when you think of the ideal hook-up partner?
“I haven’t really thought about this type of question in so long, now a couple people have been interested in my hooking up with someone.” The dark haired woman shook her head and laughed quietly. “I suppose someone kind and understanding, with my past I do not think I would want anyone that wasn’t as a hook up, I think confidence and attraction are really key, and it is hard to say what would be attractive. Sometimes that changes easily, if I remember correctly.” (Thank you for the question @saltsparkle )

Has she had any random hookups since she's returned?
No, she hasn't really been in a mindset for that. Tyc doesn't consider it odd though, mostly because she hasn't give thought to it at all. After the loss of her family, and then time in the nether, and the loss of the rest of her family, she just hasn't been in a good place. Now that she is trying to put herself out there more she might start thinking about something like that, but that is going to take more of unlocking pieces of what she was before for that to happen.

Sweet Sunday —
What was Tycil's favourite thing to do with her husband?
Tycil loves cooking, but before her husband it was a necessity, not a passion. One of her first dates was him asking her over to breakfast, he was a really talented cook, and always found breakfast something that people did not think of as romantic but he did. He would just let her sit in a corner with tea or coffee and chat with her as he made any number of delicious meals. When they had the boys the times they could have alone were even more special. As he would make them fancy animal shaped pancakes or stack a waffle tower with their favorite toppings. Sitting back and watching him with their sons just made her love him more.

Has she dated anyone since her husband died?
She hasn’t, more bad timing than anything else. There wasn’t all that much time between the scourge invasion and when she was taken into the nether. Since her return she has been more focused on figuring out the changes in her, and getting herself established again to even consider it. Though lately it has become more of a thought. Thanks for the question @turning-through-the-never
