My Favourite Story Book
Prompt 1
As a primary school student, I remember that I really enjoyed reading Hairy McLary and Possum Magic. I enjoyed reading these books because I love animals and I found it easy to relate to them. On a placement that I recently completed I noticed that a student who is autistic had a response that involved a Hairy McLary character. When found in an uncomfortable situation the student would recite passages from Hairy McLary that involved the bad character "Scarface Claw".
