Introducing our latest typeface: Delwe!
Delwe is a modern slab serif developed as a refined take on Letraset’s Belwe, hence the name. While it echoes the original’s spirit, Delwe removes the Venetian details in favor of a more streamlined, functional design, optimized for clarity, versatility, and digital use. Its structure is clean and robust, with balanced proportions that make it reliable for both display and extended text.
Built with screen performance and brand expression in mind, Delwe balances warmth with structure. Its friendly tone, generous spacing, and subtle personality make it an ideal choice for headlines, editorial content, and confident branding.
A set of stylistic alternates nods to its historical origins, giving designers extra flexibility when crafting distinctive visual identities or editorial layouts. The family includes 9 weights, from Thin to Heavy, plus a variable font for fluid responsiveness across media.
Check out Delwe on Typeverything.
