Sonic Movie 3 Spoilers:

Just wanna remind everyone that Shadow literally was looking for Sonic. Like he kept his eye on him. Turned to watch him fly closer. Sonic was already circling back to Shadow. Shadow leapt and reached for him, and Sonic was already reaching out too.

They were CONNECTED.

SPOILERS (ish)

Prediction for the 4th movie. When Shadow comes back with Black Doom and the Black Arms the first time Sonic and him are in a scene Shadow destroys one of the Metal Sonics to 'save him'. Sonic, after recognizing him gets excited and speed hugs him, thats when the camera focuses on Shadow's confused expression. Before Shadow can say anything back to Sonic BOOM something crashes near them and when Sonic looks around it's one of the Black Arms aliens, then another, then another until they are both surrounded by them. Sonic gets hyped and give one of his creative quips basically hinting at Shadow to 'get ready to fight off these bad guys with him'. Shadow walks forward and Sonic hardens his fighting stance thinking Shadow is getting ready to fight, then Shadow walks past him, right in circumference of Black Arms (the squeeze in there formation to stand beside Shadow). Sonic is now very confused and he tells Shadow he thought they came to an understanding and had a moment together when they were saving the world to where Shadow tells him he has no idea what he's talking about and he doesn't know who Sonic is.

BONUS: If Sonic has one of the emeralds Black Doom wants and Shadow steals it from him as he's walking past to join the rest of his race the as Shadow is holding it up to inspect it's authenticity Black Doom emerges from the shadows and takes it while praising Shadow.

BONUS: If Sonic gets cocky again thinking 'If I fought Shadow and won I can fight this new alien and win too (he skimmed all the details on how he won against Shadow in true Sonic fashion) and when he lunges at Black Doom with a nonchalant flick of his hand Black Doom send him either into a hallucination world or he paralyzes him.

BONUS: While Back Doom, the Black Arms creatures and Shadow are walking of Shadow looks back at Sonic with a both confused and pitiful expression cause he feels familiar with Sonic but knows he doesn't know him.

Just finished the Sonic movie. Now I understand why Sonic's very first reaction to Shadow was 'Woah'. HE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. THE WHOLE MOVIE.

Edit: ALSO, the fact that they made Shadow look like a goddess (yes goddess, the word god doesn't fit his beauty) in his super form while he's floating over Sonic in what looks like Greek ruins then to pan back to Sonic who looks like he was drenched in piss...the animators LOOOVE Shadow.

I always knew he was a short king

So, we know the official listed heights of both Sonic and Shadow are 3 feet 3 inches, or 100 centimeters. It's also somewhat surmised by the fandom at large that Shadow's Air Shoes add to his height and that he may actually be shorter than Sonic.

Taking a look at this official chart comparing Sonic and Shadow's heights, we can see the point where Shadow's shoes become flattened around midway up the height of the shoe (notice the top of the bend in between the skates). If we were to cut off everything below this plane, the chart would look more like this:

In the above image, the faint red line denotes a height of 100 centimeters. The solid opaque red line denotes Shadow's actual height with the shoe platforms removed, which is located at approximately 95 centimeters. This would put Shadow's true height at roughly 3 feet 1 inch.

THE PARALLEL BETWEEN THESE HELLOOOOO⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ (me and @koi-fish-boy were yapping abt this earlier)

Like you can clearly see the differences in body language in both Red and Panthera, but also in The Handler and Soyona which really showcases the relationship/bond with the raptors.

In the bottom picture: for Red, she’s leaning in, standing upright, showing her teeth, her eyes are wide, giving off an aggressive attitude. Red is clearly abt to kill her. Soyona looks at her with fear in her eyes, she’s uncomfortable. She leans back, she’s tense. The lighting is bright, but bare, straightforward, not as complex, like the dynamic Soyona has with Red. It’s essentially pet and owner, or zoo animal and zoo keeper.

The top picture: Panthera is relaxed, theres no tension in his expression. Jaw closed, eyes forward. He’s not aggro, but trying to communicate. The Handler bends down to get to eye-level with him, leaning in, she’s not tense, but rather curious. Her expression is relaxed. She isn’t scared, theres no ounce of fear in both of their eyes, but rather trust. She’s listening as Panthera tries to communicate with her. The lighting is dim, you can’t see very well, but its dynamic, with splotches of light here and there. Complex. Its hard to see what kind of relationship there is, tough to see in the dark, but within the cracks of light, its enough to make out the base level of it.

Goes to show how complex these dinos and their Handlers are, and I am SO STOKED to potentially see more of this in upcoming seasons 🙏

I've too been clawing at my walls wanting to see some ethereal art of her, LIKE LOOK AT HER, SHES ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. And I can see why a lot of people think she's creepy but come on as soon as I saw her smirk in the warehouse and her concerned pout when her raptors were hurt she became the most gorgeous character in the series in my eyes.

Everytime I look at her she oozes dark femininity and I LOVE her for it.

I wanna bite her nose off, put her in a blender, blend her, pour her into my finest glass, and drink her. I need to paint a fucking renaissance portrait of her. shes so goddamn gorgeous it makes me tweak the FUCK out. The pure feminine energy she radiates. Her jarring appearance makes her all the more beautiful. Someone get me a fucking canvas, I’m painting this woman. THIS RIGHT HERE IS WHAT CHARACTER DESIGN SHOULD BE.

Makes sense

Every time someone says “the raptors are gonna betray The Handler”, an angel dies; because genuinely, HOW.

How can one look at a bond like THIS and think, “Yup, they’re gonna kill her.”??????

Even with the laser pointer, which is said to “make the atrociraptors kill whoever it targets” I feel like even if the laser were to be pointed at The Handler, the raptors wouldn’t do anything.

When the laser was pointed at Soyona, Red was not hesitant to kill her. If anything, she’d probably kill her when given the chance to. “You can’t engineer loyalty, you have to nurture it.” Clearly Red isn’t loyal to you if she wanted to kill you 💀 and these raptors aren’t dumb, they’re extremely intelligent and are well aware of their actions. So to claim you have “control/loyalty” over these raptors is kinda stupid when you FEAR your own raptors, and when they won’t hesitate to kill you.

Soyona is just the buyer. The raptors might be hers, but deep down, they don’t believe they are hers. She isn’t their alpha, and she definitely doesn’t seem to be part of the pack as much as The Handler is.

In terms of pack behaviour within the atrociraptors, I’ve noticed they seem to value each other over the mission at hand. When Daniel Kon tried to grab and tackle and push one of them, they ganged up on him, killing him. When the T-rex and Allosaurus got out, they completely abandoned mission and started trying to take them out since they posed a danger to the pack. And these don’t just apply to the raptors alone, but also might be towards The Handler as well.

There was a scene in the s1 finale, the warehouse scene, when Mateo crashed into it, the raptors are knocked unconscious, everything comes crashing down, and The Handler is unconscious and stuck underneath a concrete beam. When the raptors wake up, there was a part where they all walk slowly to a specific area, the exact area where The Handler was laying. They all look at her, and each other, like they’re debating on what to do. There is a slight pause, and the sounds of clanging, before the raptors run out of warehouse, finishing what they started. Seeing The Handler atop the building at the end of that episode had me thinking, “How did she get that giant beam off of her?????” Until looking back at that scene with the raptors and realizing, they mightve actually pulled it off of her. They checked to see if she was still alive, and when confirming, they dragged the beam off to let her breathe, and regain conciseness.

So clearly the raptors also value her life as a member of their pack. They’re intelligent enough to know “she isn’t of our species” and yet, they still treat her like one of them.

“The control you can have over these dinos once you really take the time to earn it.” “You can’t engineer loyalty, you have to nurture it.” It wasn’t Soyona. It was never Soyona. The Handler was the one who earned the trust, the one who took time to earn it. Changed her own mannerisms to make the raptors relate to her more. Soyona is scared of Red. There is NO BOND there between them. She doesn’t even have the right accommodations for Red to even LIVE properly. She has her locked in a room inside her PENTHOUSE in the middle of THE CITY where she can’t even get the proper exercise or food probably. And the way Red started randomly crashing out in the van??? Did anyone else notice that and how random it was??????? Red is CLEARLY not comfortable, and yet you look at the rest of the raptor pack, and you can see just how comfortable they seem to be with The Handler.

The Handler most likely created the laser pointer herself just for Soyona so she could have some control, but in reality, the whistle is a more mutual way of communication, and I will say, much more precise. (Srry Soyona 💔)

Yeah, I think the raptors are off the “how The Handler dies” list.

EXACTLY. The raptors would never kill the Handler off their own free will because of that unparalleled trust and bond they have between one another. What if Red crashing out in the van is because the only van she’ll ever willing get into is the van the Handler has. Not only because it’s close to her pack but also because it’s made up just for her comfort. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Handler makes each individual container habitable and to their liking.

In season three I wish for a banquet scene and during that banquet I want the our crew to catch Soyona handing Red off to the Handler so she can watch her while the banquet is going on. I want them to catch Soyona walking off and almost immediately after watch the Handler and her other raptors hug Red.

An alternative; Darius is sneaking around looking for something within the banquet to stop some operation BIOSEN is having and he hears dinosaurs vocalizing only to follow the sounds and find the Raptor lady playing with them. Bonus if she starts like Owen with his raptors in the first movie then begins playing with them like you play with dogs in a play park. And Darius is just there like, 'how the hell is she with them so casually' and he gets a scare cause one of them pounces on her without warning but instead of hearing the usual screams he hears her laughing then watches as the rest of the raptors come over to check on her.

I just want more of my girl. I NEED MORE.

Maybe she'd do the same thing she does when killing people and try to harden herself but as Ghost is her family it won't last long and she'll probably break down not long after finds out

If The Handler is still miraculously alive by the time the events of Dominion play out, I wonder how she’ll react to Ghost’s death…..🙁🙁

Again, rewatching the warehouse scene to study the Handler some more I realized we get a soft, snippet of her voice while talking to Jensen. And while she's talking her head moves the same way the raptors does when they're doing the click communication thing (for reference, Red when she was communicating with the Blind Dinosaur in season 2)

Also, again, I keep noticing most times we get a close up of the Handler's face, it parallels Darius. I feel like the writers are eluding to something big between her and Darius' either a face off or an inevitable team up. Even though we don't know a lot about her, we can tell she has an affinity for knowing (and replicating) dinosaur behviors, which is something Darius actively is studying as the seasons progress (and we do see that in the leisurely times of Season 2). This also makes me wonder if she grew up similarly to the Nublar 6, being really close to dinosaurs, but instead of being stranded on an island she grew up in one of the labs making them and instead of seeing them as experiments she truly saw them as living beings deserving freedom.

Is so badly want to know more about this woman, bring her back for season 3😭

BONUS: The "Hey," she said when addressing Jenson was so light and soft. It makes me wonder if her voice is really soft and pretty or is it just her whisper (please please please let it be soft, a terrifying woman with a soft voice, gimme 14 of em right now!)
