Re; being the rehabed guy- Yeah, that was my auto-assumption too. Based on the details of the assault via his exes post, fortunately I don't think anybody other than his current girlfriend is at risk of anything bad happening. It def brings up the question of culturally, if a woman was sexually assaulted at the studio (such as during a studio party) or by someone at the studio, what would the response be? This further extends to what is the potential reaction to other forms of identity based violence like homophobia or Racism.

This is particularly difficult to gauge because we're unaware of even the conflict resolution for interpersonal matters.

update on the psychic trial: he's not in california for vidcon, and he is streaming but he is really really exhausted. intriguing stuff. he did get a haircut? maybe that's it

gokanaru stream tonight has been WILD he watched this podcast interviewing a guy who argued among other things that jesus was a child sex trafficker (as well as a lot that definitely borders on esoteric nazism) and over the course of it gokanaru went from disbelief & delight at all the knowledge + brainrot that exists in the world, to a deep sense of dread and sickness, and struggled to figure out how to cleanse himself, and finally he sat in silence, and then he said he would tell a secret, and tried to explain something about how in the next week he is going to "endure a psychic trial" but if his "ideation is supported" the streams will "get a lot less cozy." and now he's watching some sort of h3h3 talk show
