So uh

I'm not sure how many of you are still here or want to continue reading A New Lease on Life, but I think I might finally be ready to dive back into writing

I'm almost entirely done with school, I just have a final left and then I'm free for a while. I'll have time to get back to work (assuming I can remember my password lmao) and I really need a hobby because I tried to pick up a couple and it did not go well lol

But uh

Yeah

Chances are I'll try to finish chapter three and see where that goes either way

Also me: Have this supposedly dead character leave someone a note that says "I love you more than life itself" thus alluding to the fact that he stayed after death so he could be with his love interest for all eternity, no waiting around for them to die and be reunited

Sometimes notes pop up and I'll see them and be like ??? for a second before I remember tags are a thing and people see my content in the tags and like it.

Also I'm not dead I just have a lot of school work because I got sick right around when I was planning on coming back so I'm way behind on everything.

I'm trying my best to get myself together but if I'm being honest with you all I probably won't be back until we have a break from school. I'm really sorry I haven't come back yet, but I swear I've not abandoned the stories or this blog.

Saw a post that was very much looking down on infantilizing Virgil, including by using abuse and the like and I'm sitting here like "Well they won't like the first half of my fic" even though I am not treating him like a child.

This of course, is because my storyline called for Virgil to be in a bad situation, and bad situations like the one he is in often result in timid people. But the second half, after Andy is gone, sees Virgil becoming himself again. He becomes the snarky sass master we know and love. He just needed to be safe.

I'm sorry if my writing of this situation upsets people because of characterization, but as someone who knows first hand what these sorts of relationships do to a person, I trust in my ability to deliver a realistic story.
