IMPORTANT-- I have thought long and hard about this, and I’ve finally decided (thanks to the encouragement from my best friend).

I’m starting a multi-muse blog and will be moving Doppo there real soon, along with current threads. Relationships will remain. I’m having a lot of fun here and hope to continue where we left off over at the new blog once it’s ready!

Several days after the wallet incident, Nuki was sitting in the shop and something suddenly hit her and yells " THAT WAS DOPPO OF MATENROU!" in the middle of the tart shop, in which she quickly ducked and hid behind the counter.

Meanwhile, somewhere nearby... Doppo sneezed.

Such a coincidence it was, in fact, that he was just stepping into that very tart shop. Strange... He could’ve sworn he heard his name being called. Was he so overworked that he was beginning to hear things? Honestly he wouldn’t be surprised.

But he didn’t have the time nor luxury to stand around and ponder. He walked up to the counter then, glancing around in confusion. No one seemed to be there, prompting him to call out--

“E-Excuse me? ...Are you open?”

UPDATE! Xkit has just updated the “Old Blue” extension. Open your Xkit on your dash and either select old blue, of if you were using it already like I was… click on its little icon under “my xkit” tab.

Select use old font family, and set the base font back to 14px  and everything is more or less back to normal :) A THOUSAND BLESSINGS ON the XK folks <3

He could see how flustered the other got, a small chuckle leaving his lips. How long had he been hiding these feelings though?

“Okay maybe you don’t I get it. I embarrass you a lot. I’m sorry. I can try harder not to but your my best friend…..we are suppose to embarrass each other just a little.”

He smiled a bit at the other’s murmur’s. He let out a soft hum as he reached out to take the other’s hand. “So if I maybe asked you out to dinner? Like as I date? Would I get a good answer?”

He blushed and offered a small smile. “I understand if you don’t. I wouldn’t want to ruin our friendship but if you wanted to try….”

Doppo’s gaze drifted down to their hands, fixated on them while seeming to be in deep thought. The more he considered it, the more he began to question himself. Did he feel about Hifumi that way?

Honestly, who knew him and what makes him the happiest better than anyone else? Who’d stuck with him through thick and thin all this time? Not to mention, drove him mad in more ways than one...

He looked back up at the other and returned the smile.

“Maybe I would accept... on one condition.” His tone grew just a tad serious, pausing almost as if for dramatic effect. “...I’m holding on to your jacket.”

That came out as a murmur, his cheeks a little flushed. Until circumstances forced otherwise, if they were to go on a date, he’d want it to be with Hifumi in his realest nature.

Anyone else ever wanna just… make pre-established connections between characters without having to RP it out cuz you’re a tired busy adult?

Like just hit each other up with shenanigans and tomfoolery and ‘they would totally do this’ sorta bs.

   “ Ooh, I do want to, actually! ” Vivian nods, allowing a carefree smile to brim it’s way along her lips. ” Huehuehue~ In you go, my precious! ”  Not long after that, she then proceeds to chortle away while tucking the card back into her own jacket pocket, before zipping it back up and taking a single  SWIG  from her cold can of iced coffee.

    Sure enough, however, she soon lowers the brim past her lips, once Doppo asked her if she was staying nearby.

    “ Mm… excellent question, Doppo-bean! The truth is, though, I got lost on my way home, meaning I don’t really know, ” she admits, sounding more matter-of-fact than she should for someone who was supposedly ‘lost’. “ As for how I got here, I somehow stumbled upon this vending machine by chance and got thirsty… then the  NEXT  thing I knew, I saw you! Funny how that happened, huh? Maybe it was fate god arranged our fortuitous encounter together. ”

    From the way she talked, one would have assumed she wasn’t too concerned about getting back home as soon as possible; after all, Vivian herself seemed perfectly content on dilly dallying - then again, she was always quite the airhead.

He’s going to just disregard the way she chortled while putting the card away before he’d start questioning his own decisions... At least he had his coffee, eyes darting elsewhere while he took another long sip.

However, he had to pause and give her a sideways glance upon hearing her answer. It’s almost astounding how nonchalant she was about it.

“Lost? That... can’t be good.” Doppo mused before motioning to the path towards his apartment. “Well, I’m heading this way. If you’d like to join me, you might start recognizing the area.” He suggested.

And then she mentioned fate, prompting a weak chuckle from him. “Haha, yeah, funny...” His voice dropped to a murmur as he continued. “One thing I’m sure about fate though, is that it often gets disastrous on my end...... Ah--! N-Not to say that our meeting was unfavorable! I-I mean...”

      With a smile, Mukuro took his offered hand and with his assistance got herself up off the ground。 Letting out a small groan as she fully stood up, Mukuro didn’t know how long she was sitting down for but it must’ve been for a while before Doppo came along because standing up really agitated some of her sore muscles。 Or perhaps her soreness was due to her adrenalin leaving her system and now her body was reacting to the pain she had gotten from the wound and having to flee her attackers。

      Hearing his statement about being able to sleep better knowing she was safe at home, caused a small blush to heat up on her cheeks。 Turning her head a little too quickly in order to hide the small blush。 「Thank you, you’re too kind, Doppo。」 

      「Is it alright。。。 if I lean on you a bit？」 She wasn’t sure on exactly how much blood she lost, it wasn’t too much but enough that she still felt a little light-headed getting up, and turning her head quickly didn’t help that at all either。

When she turned away, he wondered if his words came off strange. Ah.. was he being too forward? Well, it’s too late to take it back now. He did mean what he said anyway.

“It’s not a problem, really. Though if you could just lead the way--” Doppo asked, only to blink upon hearing her question. “Oh, o-of course. Sorry.” The office worker stumbled a little with his words. He should have noticed that she was feeling light-headed.

Shuffling closer, he had an arm around her for support, soft and uncertain as if putting a little too much thought into every move.

“Err... h-how’s this?”

      「Still, thank you, I really appreciate the assistance。」 Now that her wound had been bandaged, Mukuro moved her arm slightly。 The wound still stung, of course, but she felt a little better about it now that it was patched up and not open to the world。 「You did a good job of it,」 turning her head to inspect his work, she had to be a bit impressed, it wasn’t horrible, but it was clear that he also wasn’t an expert at it。

      「I’d say I feel fine, but。。。」 she gives a rather dry laugh, 「I feel rather tired, honestly。」 But resting outside wouldn’t be the wisest choice, 「could you help me up？ I don’t live too far from here, actually。 If you’re available to, could you keep me company until I get home？ If I’ve already taken up too much of your time, you’re free to decline。」 She knew he worked rather long hours and she didn’t want to take up more of his time than necessary, especially since he wanted to get back to his place and rest up。

“It’s the least I could do, really.” Doppo managed a small smile. Of course, he was no doctor or medic of sorts... but selling the products did require a bit of knowledge on the field. Besides, dressing a wound was a simple enough task that even he couldn’t mess up, right?

A good job, huh?

Well, he thought his work here was passable. But to hear that from Mukuro? ...Perhaps he could take her word for it. What mattered was that he was able to help at least a little.

“R-Right, of course!” He answered almost immediately, stuffing his things back into his briefcase before offering his hand to help her up. It was getting late, but leaving her to her own devices in her current state would eat away at him. He wanted to keep her company anyway. “I won’t abandon you. Plus I’d actually be able to sleep tonight knowing you’re safe at home.”

      「Sorry–」 She couldn’t help but wince slightly as he cleaned the wound,  「I’m not entirely used to someone tending my wounds for me.」  She said softly, letting out a soft hum as he began to bandage the wound。 「Thank you, for doing this,」 Mukuro continued to talk in a soft voice, she really didn’t expect to run into Doppo like this and she also didn’t expect him to help out。 Most people who passed her, if any, and saw her in this state chose to ignore her。

Doppo was silent as he worked on the wound, being careful not to mess anything up. The last thing he wanted was for Mukuro to get an infection, after all. Especially not due to his own ineptitude. And finally, he backed up to give the bandaged wound a once-over.

“It’s nothing. I can’t just walk idly by when a friend is obviously hurt.”

It was no mere paper cut... And she said she wasn’t used to someone tending her wounds? Does this happen often then?? Questions flooded his mind, and yet, he hesitated. He wasn’t one to pry. And perhaps he was letting his imagination run away with him. He always did tend to pick up the worst case scenarios. If she wanted to tell him what happened, she would. Right?

“...How are you feeling now?”

Just give her the support she needed, should she allow it. No questions asked. For now.

“Oh did they? I was wondering why it wasn’t what I ordered.” Noah replied taking the food that he had received and handed it over to the person that originally had ordered it.

With a sigh of relief, Doppo took the food which was indeed his order --- just a couple of egg mayonnaise sandwiches. Glad there wasn’t a need for much trouble to correct the issue. He managed a tired smile as he handed the other his meal in turn.

“Thank you. And this must be yours.”

Hifumi wandered into the kitchen. It was late and he was surprised to see the other looking around for something and without a shirt.He couldn’t help but stare, especially as he noticed a small scar. He joined the other, wrapping his arms around him from behind before gently kissing along the scar on his shoulder blade.

“Hi.” He whispered softly.”

Doppo stirred from his slumber with an irritably dry throat, having to push himself out of bed and to the kitchen. Half awake, he fumbled about in the dark for a glass of water, until he felt those arms around him, body stiffening in response. Heat rose to his cheeks from the kiss, followed by a slight pout at being caught off guard. Every time.

“‘Hi’ yourself.” He mumbled, allowing himself to relax into Hifumi’s embrace.

“You really can be quiet when you want to, huh?”

     Naturally, upon being presented a business card, Vivian soon extends a hand to take it. Within mere seconds, she then lowers her gaze, before squinting at the kanji characters neatly emblazoned across the paper material.

    Ah, so his name was… Kannonzaka Doppo! Interesting. Sure enough, she’ll swerve her head back up accompanied by a small smile.

     “ Right, my name! Can’t have you be the only one introducing yourself, hm? Anyways, I’m Vivian Kong. Feel feel to call me ‘Vivi’, though, ” she states, only to  FOCUS  her attention back onto the business card. “ Am I supposed to be keeping this, Doppo-bean? Or do you want it back? ”

Vivian Kong, was it? That’s interesting. He’d ask if she’s currently on vacation, only for her to beat him to it with her own question.

“D...Doppo...bean..?” He blinked, unsure what to make of it. Especially with how casually she said it. He found himself wondering if there was any particular meaning to it. At least it didn’t seem so bad. Just... unexpected. Not like he’d tell her what to call him anyway. Guess they’re on a first-name basis then.

“Err, y-yeah, you can keep it. That is, if you want to.” Realizing that he had been fiddling with his lanyard, Doppo dropped his hand to his side while glancing around.

“Are you staying somewhere nearby, Vivi?” Oh he really hoped he didn’t sound like a creep for asking that... but it would be awkward to say their eventual goodbyes if they’re heading in the same direction, wouldn’t it?
