sorry anon but im coming back to this ask because its been living in my ass rent free for a month. there is a massive difference between regional pride and national pride. most germans are patriotic, were just not patriotic for germany. we are patriotic for our cities and states. you come to bavaria, everyone is very proud to be bavarian. you come to cologne, everyone is proud to be from cologne. you can be german and be patriotic. just dont be patriotic for germany. unless its the world cup.

Thank you 💙💙 I really like Radio Tapok. They're mainly known for their metal covers, but they have original songs that are just as good. Their songs are based off of history events, so they're kind of like a Russian Kanonenfieber/Sabaton. I really recommend "Defense of Moscow" (my favorite original song of theirs) if you check them out!!

PLEse share ur headhcannons about the Germanic family

i have so many headcanons i dont even know where to begin. the most notable one (i guess) is that i headcanon austria to be the blood brother of germany (and prussia). personally, i believe that if bavaria is to canonically be germany's older brother, then so must austria. either austria and bavaria are both brothers of germany, or neither are.

i also have my own names for the germans:

germany: otto schmidt

prussia: frederick "fritz" schmidt

austria: karl schmid(t)

switzerland: hans "hänsel" schmid(t)

liechtenstein: gretel "edelweiss" schmid(t)

hello. thank you for openly putting the cross in your profile, for me as a christian artist it is validation. lately i have been thinking a lot about this topic, why can't i declare my faith openly to the world like you for example, and i am afraid of what is described in John 1:11. but seeing guys like you makes me feel better that i am not alone. thank you again.

youre good, anon. i understand your concerns, and i thank you for sharing this. sometimes i forget that i have the privilege of being able to practice my faith without fear of rejection. personally, being christian has given me many opportunities to connect more deeply with people, which is why im open about it. if you decide to be more open about your faith, i think youll also find it to be a powerful way to connect with others. maybe not with everyone, but definitely with the right people ❤️
