Fate/Grand Order Theatrical Screening with Uchiyama Kouki

The screening for Fate/Grand Order: Shinsei Entaku Ryouiki Camelot 2 - Paladin; Agateram was held on June 5th!! The seiyuus that also came to the screening event was (from left to right) Shimazaki Nobunaga, Yasumoto Hiroki, Kawasumi Ayako, Miyano Mamoru, Mizushima Takahiro, Sawashiro Miyuki, and Okiayu Ryoutarou! And of course Uchiyama Kouki ^^

A fun fact: The source news I got this info from mentioned that the casts were kneeling to Kawasumi-san because she was the cast for the Lion King (well, I think that was the reason XD)

So, apparently Uchiyama Kouki loves “The Queen’s Gambit” that it was on his top movies from 2020, loves the actress’ facial expression, loves the shooting and editing of the mini series, and he recommended this for you guys who love sports anime and manga! He said it’s similar to Matsumoto Taiyo’s manga, “Ping Pong” (which is also an anime he worked on, surprisingly XD). He also added that you would enjoy the work without really understand the rule in chess, so don’t hold yourself back to watch even if you’re not familiar with the rules!

(And btw, his favourite character is Alma, Beth’s foster mother!)

He also said that he’s curious about how geniuses managed and maintained their careers, living, and such. He told a bit about himself too in the article.

There’s not much but I think he really loved “The Queen’s Gambit” genuinely! I don’t have netflix so I couldn’t watch the series, unfortunately :( I’m gonna watch it if there’s a way since I’m also personally curious about the series since the trailer was up XD

I just knew that Uchiyama Kouki had a discussion about “Queen Gambit” with Japanese Netflix’s editorial department and a scenario writer for movie (?). Is it because he’s known for watching movies and probably could give some insight as an audience and seiyuu? I’m so touched T^T

Uchiyama Kouki to star in a new anime, aired in 2021

The anime is titled Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu ( 月とライカと吸血姫), an adaptation of a light novel with the same title written by Keisuke Makino and illustrated by Karei. Meanwhile, the anime would be animated by Arvo Animation, the same company that animated Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai. The director for this anime is Yokoyama Akitoshi, that has worked on a lot of anime such as Kill la Kill, Piano no Mori, Nisekoi, Akatsuki no Yona, and many more!

Uchiyama Kouki would be voicing Lev Leps, one of the main character! The broadcasting date hasn’t been announced, but it will air in 2021. Let’s support the new anime together ^^

Uchiyama Kouki and Nomura Tetsuya

Based on an interview, Square Enix’s Nomura Tetsuya is fond of Uchiyama Kouki’s voice. He initially wanted Ucchi to voice the main character of Subarashiki Kono Sekai, Neku, since he wanted Ucchi to become more famous (the interview is on 2009, for some context. And so I think he wanted Ucchi to voice the game in this interview, it seems?). In the end, Ucchi really get the role for Neku in the animation series, so it’s a great thing ^^

And one cute fact: So, Nomura isn’t involved in Soul Eater production, though it is Ucchi’s first work as the main protagonist. But the people in charge make sure to tell him that he appointed the role of Soul to Ucchi.

So Animate Times made a list titled “11 Animes That Changed Our Life.” I think it’s basically them picking out most impactful anime from each year from 2010 to 2020. And for the year of 2016, they decided to pick Yuri!!! on Ice as 2016′s anime that changed our life ^^

i personally don’t know if there’s one that is available on the internet. if you want to send him something, the most possible way is to send it to his agency. but i’m not really sure about it :’)

Is he a married man?

hello! i personally don’t know for sure if he’s married or not as there’s no official announcement about him married. so if we can judge from the lack of information, it seems like he hasn’t married anyone yet ^^ (it’s a different case if he hides it like tsuda kenjirou though)

So apparently, Uchiyama Kouki lends his voice for a full voice comic of “Super Baby” by Marugao Meme! It tells a story of a pure black gal who falls in love with a (seemingly) dull guy that is voiced by Uchiyama Kouki. The gal character is voiced by Tanaka Reina.

The third volume of this manga is already published on January 15, 2021!

“Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation” will start to air on April 2021!

They also informed that the opening will be sung by ALI, titled “TEENAGE CITY RIOT”.

Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation is an anime adapted from the game with similar name made by Square Enix.

LIP×LIP is going to release a new single album!

The single album will consist of two songs, LOVE&KISS and この世界の楽しみ方 (lit. translated as “How to Enjoy This World”). These two songs are respectively the opening and the ending of their upcoming movie 『HoneyWorks 10th Anniversary “LIP×LIP FILM×LIVE”』that is going to be released on Christmas 2020! The single itself will be released on December 23rd, 2020.

Uchiyama Kouki and Kaji Yuki to do a live broadcast today (11/7)!

Kaji Yuki will do a live broadcast called “#KajiDam” with Uchiyama Kouki as the guest on November 7, 2020 at 19:00 JST through the live broadcast app Mildom!

KajiDam is a place where Kaji Yuki is challenging a new game with a guess. In the broadcast with Uchiyama Kouki later, Kaji will try to play FIFA21! If you’re a seiyuu fans or a FIFA21 player (or even both), please look forward to the broadcast later!!

“A Condition Called Love” Voice Comic casted Uchiyama Kouki!

It’s an old news actually, but I just found out today so I’m gonna tell you a bit about it!

In regards of the newest volume of the manga release on November 13, there’s a voice comic released and Uchiyama Kouki got to voice the main protagonist! His character is called Hananoi! The female protagonist is called Hotaru and is voiced by Ichinose Kana who also voices Ichigo in Darling in The Franxx and Tuesday in Carole and Tuesday :)

I haven’t read the manga unfortunately so I don’t really know about the characters. Here’s a summary of it instead!

Hotaru is a 16-year-old high school first-year who has always been ambivalent about love, preferring instead to have a lively life with her family and friends. So when she sees her schoolmate, Hananoi-kun, sitting in the snow after a messy, public breakup, she thinks nothing of offering to share her umbrella. But when he asks her out in the middle of her classroom the next day, she can’t help but feel that her life is about to change in a big way...

P.S. : I listened to a tiny bit of it and Ucchi sounds REALLY SWEET AND COOL. A must listened if you want to hear to some soothing and cool Ucchi >_<

ha|za|ma x Sakura Ayane & Uchiyama Kouki

So, after Sakura Ayane invited Kaji Yuki to be the model for fashion brand ha|za|ma, now she’s back with Uchiyama Kouki! They’re wearing clothes that’s inspired by 16th century (if I read it right).

Also, here is the video!! (I’m quiet shocked to see Ucchi painting his nail, but it’s pretty!)

The clothes price ranges from 35,200 yen up to 68,750 yen.

I’m so happy that these two get to collaborate in a non-anime work! If only there’s behind the scene for the shooting, we may get a lot of footage of their interaction ^^

Notes : Kubozuka Yousuke is the actor for Takashi Andou on the drama adaptation of IWGP, which also the character that Ucchi wil voice later on the anime adaptation! This video most likely talking about the role of Takashi Andou, but I’m still not sure hehe.
