Let’s Ensure a Child Labour Free Society
Let’s Ensure a Child Labour Free Society
The WordSmiths @ Khaitanby Konnectrella Teamon Jun 12, 2018
Child labour bereaves children the right to an innocent childhood. Let’s do our bit to stop it by making informed decisions and spreading awareness. Not every child in India is lucky to enjoy his/her childhood. A lot of children are often forced to work under in human conditions where their miseries have no end. Though there are numerous laws and provisions banning child labour, children still continue to be exploited as cheap labor. It is the authorities who are unable to implement the laws meant to protect children from being forced as labourers. Unfortunately, the real number of child labourers in India goes undetected. Children are forced to work in a completely unregulated condition without adequate food, proper wages and rest. They are subjected to physical, sexual as well as emotional abuse.
CAUSES OF CHILD LABOUR: Glaring factors such as poverty, lack of social security, the increasing gap between the rich and poor is adversely affecting children more than any other group. We have failed to provide universal education, which results in children dropping out of school and entering the labour force. Loss of jobs or parent in a slowdown, farmer suicide, armed conflict and high costs of healthcare are other factors contributing to child labour.
ALSO READ  Why The Donald Trump Effect Took Place
A WIDESPREAD PROBLEM  Due to the high poverty and schooling opportunities, child labor is quite prevalent in India. Child labor is found in rural as well as urban areas. The 2001 census reiterated the fact showing an increase in numbers of child labourer from 11.28 million in 1991 to 12.59 million. Children comprise 40% of the labour in the precious stones cutting sector. Underage children are also employed in other industries such as mining, zari and embroidery, dhabas, tea stalls and restaurants and in homes as domestic labor.
Let’s Ensure a Child Labour Free Society
 1.      A social issue which needs to eliminate from all parts of different countries it should stop and we must follow up all the necessary rules and restrictions.
2.      Everyone should stand against this major social issue we must help the children and stand against the problem so many children can join proper schooling so that they get proper education facility and help them to pursue better career opportunities.
3.      Industrial company and organization should increase the employment opportunities for the adult workers then child labor will replace from this all employees.
4.      There should be awareness among the people to abolish the child labor.
5.      Every family shall understand his kids for reducing the burden of the families they shall help to the reduce this all problems, then no one child will go for child labor.
Child Labor social issue in every country and we have to make unity to solve it urgently. There are people are keeping the kids for their benefit no child should be engaged in labor both from the legal point of view as well as the child’s future interest.

Balancing Sports, Academics Together
The Whistling Trainby Konnectrella Teamon Mar 23, 2018
Here’s the right way to balancing sports, academics Together
Can you imagine the great Sachin Tendulkar leaving his passion for cricket to pursue higher education? Thank god he didn’t, we just can’t imagine cricket without Sachin. That said education is not merely restricted to classrooms, marks or lectures. It is much more than this. It is about building one’s character, personality and changing capabilities into abilities. Recognizing the same, Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on 31 st January 2018, launched the first of its kind PM Khelo Indian School Games (KSIG) programme in the national capital. Encouraging Indian youth to Balancing Sports, Academics Together and to prioritize it, he further reiterated that the government is committed to supporting kids at the grass-roots level.
A research published in the International Journal of the History of Sport found that balancing sports, academics both stimulate students intellectually and relieve stress. But with the ongoing great Indian marks race, balancing sports and academics does become a daunting task but it is certainly doable. Sports deserve as much seriousness and importance as an academic subject. Most schools today have sports embedded in their curriculum but often schools do not encourage students much and parents add to the agony by not believing that sports can bring as much success as academics. Playing sports not only ensures a fit mind but also enhances focus.
ALSO READ  Ways to make more student-centered classrooms
The following points should be implemented by schools to help students balancing Sports, Academics Together
Guide them in planning: Guide the students to get a firm grip on their timetable and help them answer some key questions like: How many hours required to finish the work? Enough free time available to catch up on lost hours? Can you catch up on studies in case you are traveling?
Engaging with students: Allow students to make mistakes and help them stay motivated throughout. Encourage and motivate them towards school and learning.
Remember the benefits: Statistics show students who indulge in sports tends to perform better. Participation in sports activities, competitions can greatly boost self-confidence.
Encourage students to use available resources: Extra credit assignments allow students to remain academically successful. They can then balance their time spent on the ground and in the classroom.
The warning signs: There will be students who would find it difficult to balance both the acts even if there are willing to stretch themselves. As teachers and coaches, it is important to note any warning signals that may signal potential problems. With a right help and communication teachers can ensure students benefit from playing while maintaining a quality academic report.
Sports have always been and will continue to be fun for kids and Balancing Sports, Academics Together is totally worth it. As the saying goes, “I can’t believe I did that” instead of “I wish I could have done that”.
