You didn’t show up yesterday. I’m just bringing you your homework.

“He- Uhm.. Hi. What are you doing here..?”

“I see you.” Penelope said with a small sigh as she looked over at the girl trying to sneak out. “I hate detention just as much as you do, and I’d love to let you go but I can’t.”

“Hey, let me call you back. I’m currently trying to sneak out of detention.”

It looks cute on you. My daughters have Santa hats similar to that, only one’s pink and one’s purple. I honestly had no idea they made Santa hats in colors other than red and green until that day.

“Someone gave me a Santa hat. I don’t know how I feel about this, so I’m gonna wear it all day and see how I feel.”

“That was beautiful.” Penelope smiled as she spoke once Thomas had finished playing.

Thomas sat in front of a mini grand piano, fingers moving across the ivory keys as he played, Hello. He was unaware of the surrounding area, not caring too much if someone had caught him. It wasn’t a skill he was ashamed of, just one most people wouldn’t expect him to have considering where he came from and who he was a person.

That’s so cute. Your sisters are very lucky to have a great big brother like you. I think it is, though! Since it’s said twins have that connection. That makes sense, it’s a good age gap between you all. So how old is Alyssa then? Will she be coming to Kingsmen soon? I do too. Aww, thank you. They’re two! Their birthday was about a month ago.

“No, I didn’t care that they were noisy, they were perfect and beautiful,” he says with a grin, “It might be a twin thing! It was sweet either way. I loved them so much, I still do, but they were so very little,” Tony sighs happily, “When Alyssa was born, I was five, I was ten when the twins were born,” he says with a grin, “My parents wait every five years to pop ‘em out, I guess,” he laughs, “Oh, I know, that’s got to be the best part. I love children. That’s amazing, your girls are brilliant. How old?”

It is, but I deal with it the best I can. The girls try to help with the baby too, but of course they just want her go get to the age where they can play with her. Oh, yeah, the four is including me. The three girls and myself. I know what you mean, though, the world can be a horrible place. Hopefully it’ll be somewhat different by the time they’re older.

“That’s a lot of stress. Not just because you have to care for three girls, but because they are girls and the world is a cruel place. Wait, four?”

It is, but I deal with it the best I can. The girls try to help with the baby too, but of course they just want her go get to the age where they can play with her. Oh, yeah, the four is including me. The three girls and myself. I know what you mean, though, the world can be a horrible place. Hopefully it’ll be somewhat different by the time they’re older.

I believe that’s what it is, yes. I have two girls, plus this one now. So that makes three. We had dogs, but they’re currently living with my dad since I don’t really have the time or money to care for them properly with a baby here. So it’s just the four of us.

“I heard that was healthier. Something about the baby getting the mother’s antibodies or something. You have twins? Bit of a full house.”

“So maybe you wouldn’t want them to stay that little if they were noisy like that. My twins were the same, they were always talking to each other. Must be a twins thing. Yeah, how old were you when she was little? That’s probably the whole reason behind that. It really is, you can watch them grow up and become their own person. But I love it when they’re little like this. Their minds are so open and they’re very creative. My girls made snowmen decorations a few weeks ago and they gave their snowmen pockets and legs.”

“I feel privileged,” Tony coos, “No, the twins were so noisy, screaming, cooing, babbling to each other,” Tony grins, “I don’t remember when Alyssa was a baby, I was only little myself,” he laughs lightly, “If only that was possible, although it’s also great to watch them grow.”

Of course, she’s a baby. It’s bound to happen. Yes, for about six months and then I’d do a gradual switch to the bottle or solid food. It’s what I did with my twins when they were little.

“I’m sure she’ll fatten up in no time. Did you plan on breast feeding or…?”

“You’re probably the only student I’d let hold her, honestly. Probably the only one who knows how to hold a baby as well. Were your sisters quiet too?” She asked with a smile. “Aw, hun. I wish they’d stay small forever too.”

“Oh dear, ought to be careful with this beautiful one, you don’t want her to get sicky off some icky student,” Tony says, staring down at her, feeling his heart ache slightly, “She’s so precious, I miss when my little sisters were this small.”

No, you didn’t listen to a word I said. No one said you have to keep it, but you don’t have to kill it either. You can give it up for adoption when it’s born, which means you won’t need to buy anything for it. You don’t know that, you’ve never been a mother. Believe it or not, I know how you feel. I was in your place once.

“Listen, I don’t really care about other people’s opinions right now. I am not emotionally or physically ready to have a kid right now. I could not afford one, and having a kid would get in the way of many things at the moment. Plus, I hate most small children. I’d be a terrible mother anyways.”

I almost had a heart attack just now, I swear. I thought you were gonna hurt yourself and that would backfire terribly on you.

“Look what I can do, it’s pretty sick.”

“Only two days old, yes, we just got home. My maternity leave starts tomorrow so I wanted to say hi before then. Plus I had the sitter for a couple more hours. She’s a little angel, honestly, she rarely cries. And her sisters love her to pieces.”

“My God, you’re so lucky. What an absolutely perfect little girl. Only two days old? Or two days since you’ve had her home?” he asks, completely entranced by the little girl in his arms.

Yeah, I basically ate like a Hobbit. She’s tiny! You’d think she was premature considering how little and skinny she is. But then again, she was born two days ago.

“Five to six, how big was your baby?”

“Of course!” Penny grins as she sets the baby carrier down on the desk before taking the tiny baby out of it. “Here we are,” She said with a hum as she put Lillie in Tony’s arms. She knew he had many siblings, so she figured he’d know how to hold a baby.

“Oh my God, I love her forever. Can I hold her? Oh my God,” Tony gushes.
