I love the idea of Kyoko and Byakuya understanding each other implicitly, but I'm also very partial to the idea of them constantly thinking they're on the same page about things but being wrong.

Like, imagining they do that dialogue trope where they have rapid-fire, prohibitively taciturn conversations and act as if they've said all that they need to say, because they take it as a given that they're both smart enough to know what each other means without actually using good communication (and from an outside perspective, people see them interact and go, "Wow, how do they understand each other so perfectly when they only exchanged like two words?? They must be really in-sync."), but really they've just had two different conversations and don't realize it. It frequently leads to small misunderstandings.
