Have you played the new chapters yet? If so, which scene was your favorite?

Oh man, it's been a while since I was on tumblr. I've been avoiding it for spoilers, and I'll likely continue to keep quiet for a little while.

Ahem, that being said, yes! I have completed both chapters (though I haven't goten to the secret bosses yet). It took me about 1 and a half days.

So for those of you who haven't played it, here's a spoiler warning because I'm delving into spoilers below the cut.

Man... I really can't say. These two chapters really were something, chapter 4 especially. That shit felt like something out of chapter 5 or 6 instead. There's a lot of things I like about the two chapters, but there's more from 4 I like over 3. Like the titan bossfight, and the sequence with the SOUL at Noelle's house, that one was fun haha.

Although I suppose that's nothing too special if that aligns with what many others like, so instead I'll state a niche reference that I really appreciated in the latter half of ch4.

So, when Susie re-opens the darkworld to talk to gerson and she's running off to find more prophecies about herself, you run into that gallery with the scholars and the statues of the previous darkworld inhabitants.

In the top right section in the middle of the gallery, there's an Organikk who is standing next to a statue of a Balthizard. If you interact with them, they'll say something along the lines of "they might have had feathers, or even a fleshy bum."

I really enjoyed that because that's a reference to paleontology and dinosaurs, another one of my interests, in case you haven't guessed. The former of course is referring to the fact that dinosaurs likely had feathers, but the second one is a lot more interesting.

The "fleshy bum" likely refers to this amazingly preseved fossil specimen of a Psittacosaurus, in which paleontologists were able to reoncstruct and describe it's cloaca from its remains.

I should also mention that the Balthizard kind of looks like an Ankylosaurid as well, haha.

It's a pretty subtle reference but one that's greatly appreciated by me, so thank you Toby Fox ;)

sidenote, when deltarune ch3 and 4 comes out I will likely go completely radio silent on the internet to experience it on my own time, but I will still work on new pages of redeemer’s path in the meantime. I would just like to thank you for all the support and patience, and welcome new readers.
