Mellow Man Ace announced the release of his new album, “The Lost Decade” today via his twitter (@mellowmanace1). Few details were given other than it features Jarobi White of ATCQ, Mikey D of LA Posse, Dres of Blacksheep, Born Allah, SlimkidTre, and Dinco D on the rhymes. He also mentioned the production was handled by LA beat scene legend Mr. Dibase, one of his minions, Cazal Organism, and one of the main producers responsible for shaping the modern beat culture’s sound, Jneiro Jarel. Whether he’s the guy from his soundcloud profile picture (white, young, with an adult-like handlebar mustache) or black, he’s making a scene. Kaelin Ellis, formerly known as Mr. Mockwell, is a Floridian beat maker. Growing up with an MTV music generator and an eclectic mind; this 16 year old producer has surely made his mark. Creating sounds similar to those of Kaytranada (even making a song with the renowned star), the young buck has earned his stripes.

Hopping onto the Miley Cyrus bandwagon, Kaelin Elllis, made a statement: he ain’t a basic bitch. He starts off with a short/sharp vocal sample, places some background distortion sounds, then layers it with bass. We’re talking about a real organic bass. He introduces the listener to a high-pitched version of Miley, but manages to keep it majestic and audible. After that, it’s just a musical journey that one must experience for themselves.
