Diary Entry 5/8/13

Dear Diary,

...'Diary'. That's a little girl's book she writes feelings and crap in, right? Ah, oh well, I guess that sort of explains what's going on here.  I mean, I plan on writing about shit like that.

Hmm. So, this week, I went to a party on the rooftop with Gretel, Kasey, and some people I hadn't met before then.: Soseki, Calvin, and a girl named Maya. It was pretty fun. Y'know, alcoholic beverages were served. Cool, cool, cool.

Er... There was a rumor in the 'Turnip Tabloid' (It's this thing at Mineral High that makes absolutely no fricking sense), that I 'want the D' or something like that.

Well.

I mean, I don't. I don't think I do. Ahh, hell, who knows? I've only 'been' with girls, sure, but I mean, i can appreciate a good-looking man! ...Okay, no, no, I mean, not like that. I don't think.

Fuck, sexuality is confusing.

Anywaaaay, I guess that's all that's happened lately. Oh, and I'm trying to get this kid Jamie to be my study buddy. He/She is making this really difficult. I wish he/she would just let me be his/her partner for this.

Felicia was walking by to hand out flowers to everyone she could see since everyone deserves to be happy on Harmony Day! So she stopped in front of the familiar person and smiled as she handed over a Pink Lily, "Here! Happy Harmony Day~♪"

Dan smiled down at the blonde girl as he took the pink flower from her. He bowed over dramatically, laughing after doing so. The girl looked pretty familiar... Hmm.  "Gracias! And a happy harmony day to you! ...Who are you again?"

"I don't need a special month to 'do my part'. I'm a senior in highschool; that's gonna happen. As for who I'll be thinking about... I don't know. Besides, that's a bit more private."

“Yes, please do leave. I’m sharing a special moment with this gorgeous person.” Dan chuckled to himself. Damn, he was charming.

Adam happened to walk in on Dan hitting on the…. Whatever the blue monkey hell Jamie was, and had to hold in the laughter. The result was a funny face with his cheeks puffed out and a big smile crossing his lips.

Jamie shot a warning glare at the onlooker.

DARE: Hit on as many ladies at school as you possibly can before the night is over and try to swoon them by doing something romantic like dipping them!

"I 'unno... Not to many dweebs in this class." Dan laughed before yawning and tapping on his desk rather annoyingly. "Can't they see I need this class to graduate? Damn 'em."  

Dan grinned at Kasey as he listened to his explanation. "Cheer practice, obviously. You need to be good to get the girls." The dark-haired boy laughed before saying, totally not referring to a hangover, nope,  "And I spent a good portion of yesterday sleeping off an after effect from a party."

Kasey couldn’t help but grin when he heard Dan’s voice.  He should have known better than to ask, Dan was just as bad as he was in terms of academics - and just as good with the ladies.  It was hard not to feel a comraderie with him, really. “Heh, you either? Mannn…. Who should we try and copy off of then?” 

Not everyone was generous about sharing their answers, sadly. He didn’t see why they were so uptight! Why not share the wealth? 

As he glanced around for anyone who might have actually finished the assignment, he snickered a little bit at Dan’s question. “Mostly played video games. What about you? What’s your excuse?”

Cheer team!

Dan pinned up a few notes around the school, in hopes that his fellow members of the cheer club would notice. It was a brief question regarding their booth at the spring fair, if they were to have one. The note read like this:

READY, OKAY!

Hi, fellow Cheerleaders! It's Dan here. Clubs have the option to host a spring fair booth this year, and we have to sign up soon. Like, really soon. So I wanted to get all you guys' attention!

Maybe we could talk about this? Maybe we could set up a booth where we offer dances and the like with people, and give out school related merchandise? Stickers maybe? I dunno, we could work out the details later. What do you all think of a Spirit booth, though?

Taste Testing, eh? || Mineral High School AU

Dan sauntered into his part-time job with a smile on his face. He would be tasting food.  ...For money. Legitimate G he could spend on whatever he wanted! He would be eating for money! The sheer idea of that made Dan deliriously happy. ...It never occurred to him that he could be fed some vile, possibly rotten food. 

Still, the boy sat at a table in the cafeteria, and waited to be served. Hopefully this would be as amazing as he was expecting.

Dan was in a light slumber, when he heard a door close and rouse him from his sleep. Right. He was in math. Fantastic. Dan sighed, and tilted his head, cracking it. The boy was about to take out his math binder when he heard someone near him ask a question. He raised an eyebrow before saying, "Huh? No, of course not."

He laughed gently, "I don't think anyone did this homework. It's a pretty freaking small assignment..." He shrugged, before asking out of sheer curiosity, "What were you doing, though?"

Kasey walked with his usual swagger to the back of his math class, tossing his backpack unceremoniously under his desk and giving an annoyed groan as he flopped into the seat closest to the door.  Ugh, he hated this class!  Why did a good looking dude like him need to know math anyways? He was going to be a model and have chicks all over him! Not like they weren’t already, but come on!

Leaning forward in his seat, he peeked over at the desks of the students around him, mumbling, “Psstt… Any of you guys get the homework done last night? I totally spaced and forgot to do it.”

Of course, what that really meant was that he was too busy goofing off to do his homework. Typical Kasey!

Muffy tied a yellow ribbon around the wine bottle to secure the carefully chosen flower, a yellow rose with pink tinged petals. She liked to tease him, even though he probably wouldn't pay any heed to the meaning of the colors. She handed him the bottle of sweet wine with the flower, and gave a heartfelt smile. "Happy Harmony Day~" she said with a wink over her shoulder before scurrying away.

Dan grinned as Muffy handed him a bottle of wine with a flower attached to it. Why was there a flower? ...Oh, right. Harmony Day. That was a thing. He bowed over dramatically, and murmured, "Thank you, m'lady."

Dan laughed gently and nodded, before smiling brightly at Gretel's reaction to the soda. He wagged his finger at her before saying in a playful tone, "That's for me to know, and you to... Most likely not find out~" He laughed again before adding, "Además de... Can't you just put stuff in your windmills and hope for the best? I'm sure you'd figure out how to make soda sooner or later."

He continued grinning as Gretel went along with his idea. "I hold within this mind many grand ideas, mi amiga." He laughed and watched as she drank the mixed drink. He raised an eyebrow and tilted his head, offering a small hint of a devilish grin before asking, "Is it everything you expected? More?"

The man grinned before casually opening a can of beer and taking a large gulp of it, swallowing quickly. Surprisingly, although he drank a decent amount of it, the flavor of beer had never really agreed with Dan.  At least, not the flavor of Lager. Ale, he could deal with. "Please, tell me it's fantastic."

Lets get drunk! @ Dan

Gretel laughed, “Hardcore eh? I guess i’m too ‘Hardcore’ For everyone here too then!” She exclaimed, popping the tab on the soda can and taking a drink. A rush of strawberry flooded her mouth, along with an immense sweetness and amount of fizz.

Eyes widening, she swallowed the thick fruity syrup and placed the can down. “….Holy shit…” she muttered, amazed at the Soda. Staring at Dan, she grinned madly. “HAHAH! THAT SHIT IS AMAZING DAN!!” She cheered. “How do you make it!! I HAVE to know!!”

At the suggestion that she should mix it with vodka, she stood up, nearly knocking the chair down. “Oh fuck yes. That’s the BEST IDEA I”VE HEARD!!” She exclaimed, running over to grab her vodka and a glass. Coming back, she placed the Vodka and the glass on the table and poured the rest of the strawberry soda into the glass, filling the glass half-way. She then took the vodka and filled it up the rest of the way.

“this is going to be amazing.” She said as she brought the cup to her lips and chugged.
