Basically Dume sucked so much ass that Makuta was able to impersonate him for an extended period of time and barely anyone noticed any differences in his behavior.

You ever think about how Teridax was originally presented as, like, a shadow-demon. And then as Bionicle drifted further from fantasy-fantasy and into science-fantasy it turns out he's basically a scientist, and things like the seemingly supernatural "plague of madness" and his ability to assume different forms were recontextualised as what is essentially a biological weapon and a sort of dimension-powered mechanical(?) shapeshifting, respectively. I don't know it's just kinda neat I guess.

I'm 6'2 but my build causes people to mistake me for being taller. It's actually kind of funny. But it makes me question their ability to assess the physical dimensions of any given mass. Then again, my wife is tiny and I have to be standing right next to her to remember the height difference.
