GONCHAROV (1973) dir. Martin Scorsese
“It funny because for many years people thought Goncharov was the main antagonist of the film, after all, he’s the one everyone’s out to get, right? But it seems people are starting to understand that in actual fact, it is time that is the main adversary in this story. There’s never enough of it and that torments a lot of characters, especially Goncharov, because he’s fighting so desperately to find his place in a world that is so keen on keeping him ostracized.”

on amok time again: they really did "spock experiences primal alien mating drive and murder fuck ritual," and didn't even play with "and this is an excuse to see our prim and proper mr spock get sensual with a lady!". like he expends ALL of his hot dominating fantasy uncontrollable lust rage energy ON KIRK. they wrote that and had ONE chance to make spock have any scandalous, carnal housewife jerk off material romance they wanted with any sexy space woman in the universe, and they chose kirk. when he does interact with a woman he throws a soup at her

I like to think that Spock pulled McCoy's zip open with his teeth, while the good doctor was trying to work
Just some regular bros doing regular science while stand up spooning, nothing weird.

““…along with Bill [Shatner] and Leonard [Nimoy], DeForest Kelley was also one of Star Trek’s shining lights. The highest compliment I can pay him is that you would never know it to talk to him. There wasn’t anybody that De didn’t treat with courtesy, warmth, and respect. De Kelley has been everyone’s good guy for the thirty-plus years that Star Trek has been around. I’m only sorry that you can’t all have had the opportunity to know him the way we have.””
— – Walter Koenig (Pavel Chekov, ST: TOS, first seven Trek films). Excerpt from Koenig’s autobiography “Warped Factors: A Neurotic’s Guide to the Universe.” Taylor Publishing; Dallas, Texas. 1997.

I wept hot, furious tears for Frain's Cromwell.
people were saying on facebook how good mark rylance must have been to make you CRY for cromwell of all people and i was like eeeeh i cried my eyes out for james frain’s cromwell as well and even op admitted he was their favourite cromwell lol. no shade to rylance of course, he’s a phenomenal actor, it’s just james frain’s performance is part of my soul and made me read Wolf hall in the first place.
