PokeSpe Timeline

Google doc link which gets frequently updated for the past years since this was posted.

As you can see, the timeline is pretty messed up. It folows how each Pokemon game was released with an exception of HGSS and ORAS.

I would like to over-analyze this messed up timeline, and hopefully, everyone will accept, or at least, understand how the timeline goes. Remember, I will also be providing the previous Pokedex holders’ ages despite their arcs having already finished.

Disclaimer: The ages specified in this file are not accurate. The timeline is pretty messed up and I only approximate some stuff here. Also, I don’t know how to speak nor read the Japanese language, so this is going to be a tough one. Thankfully, there are numbers there to indicate the time skip, so I’ll be following that. I apologize if I’ll ever make some mistakes here.

Another note, I’ll be using the intended Japanese names of Blue and Green. This means Blue is the girl, and Green is the boy and Professor Oak’s grandson. Also, everyone has their own opinions about the given timelines, so there’s no need to attack me if you think this is wrong.

Kingdoms Fall Empires Break The good, the bad The price we’ve paid.

I am posting these sketches bc I dunno If I will start making a clean version. I just wanted to attach my ideas together. Like Sparklez being a Captain (or Guard Cap) in the Fallen Kingdom, he fought the Herobrine like guy, lost & got thrown into the ocean and in the depth is where the Goddess finds him & pulls him into the Mianite lands.

Mianite and Dream SMP Parallels:

Tubbo and Jordan, gullibility and the middle path

The similarities

Naivety

Gullible

Considers themselves the balanced one willing to hear out people

Manipulated by those with more perceived knowledge

Concerned with wars and wants the peaceful and often easier option, regardless of signs it might go poorly

Considers themselves good

The differences, age and breaking points

Jordan (CaptainSparklez)

Older, with the territory comes he realizes some actions are intentionally misleading

His foil is antagonistic and rarely from Jordan's side does he trust Tom to act as he says he will.

Jordan is extremely independent and when pressed between a cause and friendship or percieved friendship will choose the cause. While Tubbo has done the same, their reasons differ. Jordan considers himself noncommittal and even his goddess or a friend is inconsequential if something else takes priority.

Greed. While their balance/middle ground looks similar, Jordan's is largely surface level and he will forsake a level of neutrality for his own advantage

Isolation: Jordan often willingly prefers being left alone to his own devices

Tubbo

Tubbo's age unfortunately translates to a greater threshold for how much other people can push him before he stops

Tubbo trusts his foil, Tommy, and Tommy likely will not betray the trust

Tubbo isn't dependent so much so as he values other people's presence and seeks it out naturally. This sometimes comes at a cost of choosing the wrong people. People pleasing, pretty much

Much more selfless. Not likely to give up his friends for a sword or in his case, a disc

Tubbo would not survive left alone to build a reactor

Overall, Jordan in his older age and actions is more comparable to Philza now but in his early 20s was similar in his spirit, nativity and gullibility, presenting more center protagonist than Tubbo, but often being more sinister and corrupt than Tubbo with his motivations centering more around himself, than his friends or the greater good.

I can see why people think he'd make a good canon fatherly figure, and can also argue Jordan would likely let Tubbo die if Technoblade offered him a fully enchanted netherrite sword if he got to kill Tubbo. Who knows, maybe Jordan's mellowed out enough to not let friends kill children.

This of course isn't a criticism of Jordan's character in Mianite. It was always a joy to see him "sink so low" as the best part of Mianite was none of the heroes were necessarily ever heroic or consistently good or evil. Tom might change heart on a whim, and Jordan had no qualms about ignoring the signs pointing to "this is bad." Dream SMP has more stagnant and defined evil and good, with many popular characters forgoing redemption or changes of heart to keep being villainous.
